I told her I'm not good at makeup at all and she taught me an easy two step way which included a brow tint from Kelly baker (?) that she sells in her shop. She put it on me first of course, so I could see if I liked the product. She also offers lip wax and other services. The person who did my hair did a nice job and it looked pretty when I left, as she blew it dry and put some curls in it. Sorry I forgot to take a photo. She could have massaged my scalp a little longer, but for 15 bucks,I am not complaining. Just trying to give some way to improve. Oh and maybe get some better hairspray, as the curls fell out very quickly. That's my hair for ya. They offer a senior discount on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday also. I was in and out in about 45 minutes and with five dollar tip was only 20 bucks poorer. Really perked me up though. The place is small and there was a massage taking place in the room right off the main area. The smell of the massage oil was relaxing. There was a woman who came in and sat there in the main desk chair of the place who had a uniform on like that of a security guard and she and I started talking. She was trying to empathize with me about the election, but I think she was placating me instead of really agreeing because she made a comment about how a woman president would have trouble speaking to Arab leaders.
