I was enrolled in Bree's training from August 5th to August 8th. I paid a $1,000 deposit to secure my seat and paid the remaining $5,200 a week before class started. On the day of training, just three hours before class started, Bree texted me saying she had to cancel because she tested positive for Covid, which was understandable. However, when I spoke with her on the phone, she did briefly mention I was the only student for that month's training. The MAIN ISSUE was Bree offering to refund me $5,200 when I paid $6,200 in total. Her explanation was, "Unfortunately, that portion is still non-refundable, as stated upon booking the class-- that cost is to source supplies and materials for your kit, which is all completed now. I too have processing fees that I will have to pay to refund the transaction. I hope you understand." How do you think it's acceptable to attempt to keep my deposit when YOU decided to cancel literally 3 hours before class starts. Nowhere did it say, "If I (as a trainer) decide to cancel the training at any time, there will be no refund." If that was stated in your policy, do you actually think anyone would pay for your class?! Charging me $1,000 for a machine kit I NEVER TOUCHED is wild. Not to mention, I had to cancel my Airbnb stay that same morning and lost $400. The fact that you genuinely didn't care about my loss and had the nerves to mention processing fees, despite being the one who canceled. This really reflects poorly on your character. If you were a decent person, you would've issued a full refund NO QUESTIONS ASKED. What you did was really scummy and I hope no one goes through this. In the end of the day, I'm glad I didn't take your class. I didn't appreciate the greed and dishonesty, and wouldn't want to be trained under someone like you. read more
