The artists at artistic tatoo kick ass. My wife was recommended to this shop by a woman at her church. After getting work done by Levi Smith that she was extremely happy with I went down to get some work done. Since then Levi has done numerous tatoos on my wife, all of which she loves and gets compliments on all the time. I have recieved 2 half sleeves, both ribcages covered, full back piece, both shoulders and a chest piece all by Levi Smith over the last couple years. Brent (body piercer) has pierced my wife numerous times with no complications and great results. All the Artists at the Shop (Levi, Mule, Shawn, Ted and Brent) are really dedicated and love what they do. I have recommended many people to this shop (including my bosses daughter, thats how much cofidence I have in these guys) and they are all happy with the work they have recieved. The only bad thing is that (I consider it a good thing) they are usually booked out a couple days or longer, but do you really want to get a tattoo from someone that has tons of openings. (They have openings for a reason). Hell, your gonna have the tattoo the rest of your life so isn't it worth the extra couple day wait for quality work. read more

I have seen many artist roll through this shop and it is disappointing to know how many people actually quit on bad terms. I called my artist Jaime today to book an appointment and found out that she longer works here because the new management refuses to treat their employees like actually people. I have been going here for 4 years and probably saw at least 20 different artist roll through this shop and leave because of poor management and owners. I will no longer be going to this place based on what I have saw. Jaime was my new favorite tattoo artist and saw her see her friends get fired but still stayed in this shop because she had hope. I'm very glad she decided to leave and take all the artist with her. No one should ever be treated this way! This shop needs to close. You can tell they are all in this for the money and have no passion for tattoos. You've LOST another customer. Keep it going because you need to close down. read more

Nothing but dirt tattoos. Only 1 artist named James who thinks his sh*t don't stink. From what I saw, his works sucks. Went in there and asked for a specific piece of a American Traditional eagle and he threw out this ridiculous price that was in no way shape or form in his league. Gave me a nasty smirk and continued to pursued me that he is the best when I found out there are no other artist working there. Well no sh*t your the best in the shop, you're the only one working here!!! Then started to tell me I wouldn't be able to find any better tattoo artist in the area that can out beat him in traditional. I had it from there with him after he started trash talking other shops. I decided to wait for the other shops to open where they actually specialize in traditional not dirt tattoos. He was full of himself. Stick to what you know James. read more

Stinks like weed in the shop and everyone that was in there seemed to be high as a kite. The man that was running the place looked dirty, high and waas wearing flip flops while tattooing? The floors were disgusting, the lot was trashy scattered with bums, they have holes in the ceilings and the bathroom look like I would catch a disease. To top this off, there were minors getting tattoos without parents present and running around the shop... who I'm pretty sure were under the influence was well. I walked right out. Glad I saw these reviews after I left because from what others have been saying, they do have a record of tattooing minors without proper supervision. I waited until I was in my 40's to get my first tattoo . It was done at Artistic Tattoo by Levi Smith, the tattoo was in honor of my father who has passed away it was awesome, I brought Levi a concept in my head and he got it perfect.... . Looking at the tattoo still brings tears to my eyes and it is with profound gratitude I thank him for designing exactly what was in my mind. I have since gotten 3 more tattoo's all by Levi and every time I have described for him a concept in my mind and he has designed exactly what I wanted. I just want to say how impressed I was with Levi Smith.... I took him several canvas of my own art work and he took the time to take pictures of them and discuss where I wanted to go with my tattoo. A few days later I got to see the sketch of the mural of my OWN art work he had whipped up for me! I got to take it home to color it in myself. As an artist, it was a wonderful experience to get to work so closely with him on what we were putting on my skin! I am now about 8 hours in, with another 6 or so to go, and have been VERY happy with the work. Yellow, too! which I hear are hard to have. I am so happy with his work, I will never let another artist put a needle to me again. read more

I've gone here for about 5 separate tattoos now, and I absolutely LOVE them. Everyone who works there is extremely sweet and super laid back; they make you feel comfortable and confident. The building is super clean and vibrant, and the parking lot is the perfect size (you don't have to worry about crowded spots, it's a breath of fresh air)! Every time I have walked through the doors of Artistic Tattoo, I am always immediately welcomed with a smile. I went to Artistic Tattoo last Tuesday to get a tattoo on my back fixed. I was referred there by a friend and I'm so glad I was because Levi Smith is absolutely amazing! I had a horrible outline of a macaw done at another shop a few years back and Levi did an absolutely wonderful job at making it look exactly how I wanted it. Of all my tattoos, I am most proud of this one. I'll definitely be going back there! I already have plans to get 2 more tattoos done and hopefully I'll be able to get them done soon. Went in for a shoulder blade piece told them exactly what i wanted I got way beyond what I wanted it was simply amazing work got another piece done there amazing work both times this time I got hoser as my artist amazing work definitely going to recommend him and the parlor to others who are looking to get a piece done. read more

I had levi do a cover piece on my leg and instead of covering it up he took the existing piece and made it into a bad ass tattoo that im not afraid to show anyone anymore. Levi has a light hand and is an awesome guy to chat with while he is working plus he isnt overpriced like a lot of other shops read more

a good place for your basic ink needs neither of the tattoos i received here were all that great but they werent horrible by any means. very basic lines no detail and 1 had to be touched up by another artist to get the color right. overall there are definitely better shops for your money read more

This place is amazing I've gotten 3 black Friday tattoos and this bad boy. All done by Joseph Leary who is amazing at what he does. He hand drew this octopus free hand on my thigh and I love this tat so much. I will definitely be getting more work done here :D thanks guys read more
