The only warning I will give you is, if you go there in person, make sure you know what you need, and put blinders on, or you may leave with a carload of stuff and five new projects you never even knew you wanted to build. The worst customer service! Jarod is who we initially started working with and is amazing. He had…read morerecently moved over to Premier Building Supply, so we agreed to go with them. We were handed over to Cassidy to do the financial and paper work portion and that was a mess from the beginning! Cassidy has a horrible attitude and speaks to you like you're an idiot and doesn't let you get a word in! It's honestly sad that they allow someone like him to work for them and represent their company! He didn't help us at all and when we had any questions it was such a bother to him. It took months for us to FINALLY get anything accomplished because Cassidy gave us the run around and the tried to change the price that he originally had quoted us (tried to charge us way more). When I brought it up he had no excuse and then said he would "honor" the original quote. When we finally got our garage door installed, it wasn't even completed. The light on the garage motor/lift wasn't working, so my husband had to fix it and the decorative pieces weren't installed. When I asked Cassidy about it he made a snarky and smart ass comment of "well did you put a light bulb in it!?" And then tried to charge us for the decorative pieces for the garage door. I had already spoken to a manager named Jory who was supposed to call us back before I had called Cassidy back again and we never got that call back. This past week Cassidy called me to get the rest of the payment and had an attitude as usual, wouldn't let me get a word in as usual, and when I brought up the light and the decorative pieces again he once again was rude and made the same comments. I told him I needed to speak with manager because I couldn't deal with him any longer. 4 months later our garage door is finally installed and completed, but with the worst service (minus the service we received from Jarod). Please don't come to this company, find someone else or hire Jarod on the side.

Way back in May I had the Questar Gas rep. do a home evaluation for my home. Based on their…read morefindings and their list of contractors, I called Hansen's for an estimate so I could do all the suggestions of Thermwise. The 1st week of June an estimator from Hansen's came over. He only looked at the downstairs Utility room with me, and did not look at any of the other Thermwise findings for my insulation problems. A week later I still did not have an estimate from Hansen's. so I called them. Finally the nest day I received an emailed estimate that was missing much of what we discussed. Then a day later, another estimate that included everything except for the Utility room batting that he did look at. He later responded that he didn't remember anything about the Utility room. I also mentioned that I could not print out the attachments to initial to get the job started. Since then I heard nothing back for 2 weeks. I then called Hansen's again who informed me that the estimator was the salesman, and that I could not get the job started unless he processed the order. My question now is . . . If the guy won't respond to my emails in over a month, then how could I ever get the work started? I really liked the estimate, and wished that they would have started the work, but now I am thinking that Hansen's is too busy to take my order, or uninterested. This is typical for many construction contractors. I am sad to say that my house is still hot due to another unresponsive contractor.
