Their lead times were also much faster than other local suppliers I looked at. If you've ever shopped for flooring, you know how overwhelming it can be with so many colors, materials, and options. I spent hours at FAMI trying to figure out exactly what I wanted, and not once did they make me feel rushed or unwelcome. They were patient, answered all my questions, and helped me understand the different products so I could find what worked best for my home. They also provided good size samples I could take home with me. When it came time to purchase my floors, I went straight back to FAMI. Their pricing is competitive, especially for the quality compared with other local stores. Between the service, quality, pricing, and fast lead times, I had a great experience and will definitely come back in the future. I am so in love with my floors it's silly. Thank you, FAMI!

We returned the following day, and Thy helped us find the perfect flooring. She was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire process. This truly choreographed team quickly and efficiently removed our previous carpeting and padding, then expertly and carefully moved our furniture from one room to another in preparation for what proved to be their careful and excellent installation of our new carpet. Their many years of experience was very apparent by how expertly and well rehearsed a portion of the team worked upstairs while others were busy downstairs but quickly came together when needed to move massive furniture such as our upright piano, grandfather clock, and dining room hutch. In summary, we highly recommend Conklin Bros for their total commitment to customer satisfaction by providing quality carpeting at a competitive price along with expert installation by a team whose actions epitomize their many years of experience in conjunction with well deserved pride in their mastered craft.

And I always work with the salesperson named Tom. Prior to Tom joining Conklin Bros several years ago, I used Tom when he worked for a prior floor covering company. During the last 20+ years I can recall 16 different floor covering jobs Tom has sold to me and they all went smoothly. Recently, I had a very large luxury vinyl flooring (artificial hardwood) job done and it was horrible. The first installer used a liquid to pour onto wood underlayment to level out a depression. As it dried over the next few days, it leaked into the floor below and down a freshly painted wall. There was no offer by Conklin to reimburse me for the painter to repaint the wall. Also, a leveling compound that is the consistency of toothpaste is used for such a situation, and I have seen prior installers from Conklin Bros use this. When I asked this installer why he didn't use this product he said he never heard of it. Due to health reasons, this installer was unable to complete the job, and a second installer was assigned to complete the work. The second installer left large gaps, a lot more than what is needed for floor expansion, in 3 places and did a horrible job joining a threshold to where it meets the baseboard. A total shlock job. I took photos and sent them to Tom and the installer returned to make the corrections. The installer never made these corrections. Tom called to see when my final payment would be received and I asked if the two of us could meet because the installer is unable to understand what he needs to do despite my sending photos of what needed to be done. Tom, in a very huffy voice, said that he was not going to return and wanted to know when the final payment would arrive. I told Tom that I was not going to pay the $7,000+ balance until the 3 small problems were corrected. Tom said, "Okay then - I'll file a Mechanics Lien on the property" and hung up. First, he cannot file such a lien without first suing me in court and obtaining a court judgment should his case be successful. I decided to pay the $7,000+, less $500 so I could hire another company to perform the corrections. I felt this was fair. For a salesperson who has sold me 16 prior floor covering jobs over 20 years this is how Tom acted. Think how he would treat you if you were using him for the first time and did not have 16 prior jobs under your belt. Stay away from this place and especially Tom. Conklin, currently has horrible installers. - Craig

We were looking for something different. Cypress is not a cookie cutter place. It has many options for those looking for something different. We were very fortunate to work with Sandy. Sandy is a gem. She knows her stuff, her products, what can be done and what can be a problem. We purchased cabinets, countertops, sinks, drawer pulls and door handles from Cypress. Everything looks lovely. One sink arrived damaged and Sandy put in a rush order to get a new sink Sandy designed the kitchen layout and it is great. We have a lot more space to put things now. We had two blind corners and Sandy put a lazy Susan cabinet in one and a magic box in the other. Now we have access to cabinet space that we hadn't had in over 40 years. Sandy also noticed some problems with the cabinet finishes and worked with the stainers to get the issue resolved. She even delivered the redone items herself. One thing that is great about Sandy is her willingness to work with you to find what you want, not what is on the sales floor. And she never pushes to make a sale. She will present options, but if they aren't for you, she just moves on. We appreciated Sandy keeping us informed about how things are going. If we had a question, a text would be answered promptly. She even answered us when she was on vacation in Hawaii! Cypress is a great store. Take some time to look around. It has lots of nooks and crannies that have interesting items. It has modern stuff, and things that are more traditional. We were very happy choosing Cypress and working with Sandy.

There are so many decisions to make and so many options AND so many stores you can go to...it was hard to know where to start. I'm so, sooo glad I came to Kitchen & Bath Design Center. I'd live to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Gianna who was tirelessly patient with me as I went through the process of finding fixtures, pull handles, faucets, tubs, toilets, etc.. I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted but Gianna was so patient and so kind. She helped me select and order everything for my two bathrooms and kitchen. She was clear and very communicative about when I could expect my items to be ready for pick-up (an extra challenge with the global supply chain issues). When we hit a snag on just one (of the many) bathroom items I ordered, she and Tom jumped through hoops to accommodate me and fix the problem. So while I hope to never have to renovate anything ever again, if renovations ever are in my future again, I would definitely come back here. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Great family-run business by people who care about their customers AND deliver excellent products. Thank you!!

They spent lots of time with us on the design of our kitchen. After giving them the measurement of the space for our cabinetry, Lina designed the layout and customized the sizes of each cabinet to our liking. After about a week of deciding to go with ML Cabinets and have fully customized cabinets, Michael took measurements at our house to confirm the measurements we provided. Since ML does custom cabinetry, there is obviously lead-time to get the cabinets fabricated. ML uses materials made and manufactured in the USA only. The promised 4-week lead time was met and the cabinets were delivered on time. After installation of the cabinets by our contractor, Michael came to the house to install hinge that was initially incorrect for a coffee station. He noticed that a couple doors needed some repainting due to scratches/imperfections and adjustments. He took them back and came back a few days later to re-install them. I recommend ML Cabinets if you like quality cabinets.

We ordered kitchen cabinets from Michael and Lina in May 2021. They were professional and friendly during design phase and we decided to order our bathroom cabinets and media center as well. The cabinets was supposed to arrive in Aug, and by July they took 100% payment of everything. It didn't arrive in Aug but in September they communicated that delivery was ready. We asked them to show one cabinet before delivering all to make sure the color is right. After that they stopped taking calls and once in a while replied with a series of lies of how they have had accidents, had strokes and blah blah. After much chasing down and literal begging we got half of the cabinets in Dec. Michael committed to come back with the rest next week and we are yet to hear. They shut down the store and are complete MIA. Now almost a year later our kitchen is still not ready thanks to these crooks. Now we have to go to the cops and file legal lawsuits to get our money back. Such a hassle. Seriously stay away.
