After going to the bigger cabinet places, we could not find the vendor that will satisfy our needs, so we tried ML Cabinets. Lina and Michael are very pleasant to deal with. They spent lots of time with us on the design of our kitchen. After giving them the measurement of the space for our cabinetry, Lina designed the layout and customized the sizes of each cabinet to our liking. After about a week of deciding to go with ML Cabinets and have fully customized cabinets, Michael took measurements at our house to confirm the measurements we provided. Since ML does custom cabinetry, there is obviously lead-time to get the cabinets fabricated. ML uses materials made and manufactured in the USA only. The promised 4-week lead time was met and the cabinets were delivered on time. After installation of the cabinets by our contractor, Michael came to the house to install hinge that was initially incorrect for a coffee station. He noticed that a couple doors needed some repainting due to scratches/imperfections and adjustments. He took them back and came back a few days later to re-install them. I recommend ML Cabinets if you like quality cabinets. read more

Worst experience ever!!! Stay away from this place. Ran away with money without delivering all cabinets. This is actually negative 3 stars. We ordered kitchen cabinets from Michael and Lina in May 2021. They were professional and friendly during design phase and we decided to order our bathroom cabinets and media center as well. The cabinets was supposed to arrive in Aug, and by July they took 100% payment of everything. It didn't arrive in Aug but in September they communicated that delivery was ready. We asked them to show one cabinet before delivering all to make sure the color is right. After that they stopped taking calls and once in a while replied with a series of lies of how they have had accidents, had strokes and blah blah. After much chasing down and literal begging we got half of the cabinets in Dec. Michael committed to come back with the rest next week and we are yet to hear. They shut down the store and are complete MIA. Now almost a year later our kitchen is still not ready thanks to these crooks. Now we have to go to the cops and file legal lawsuits to get our money back. Such a hassle. Seriously stay away. read more

Michael is very communicative and friendly when you first talk to him, however, we should have walked away when he asked for 100% payment upfront before he would order the cabinets. As soon as we paid him, his communication stopped. After countless texts and calls, the only way to get a hold of him was to show up at his shop. We were praying the horrors would end as the cabinets were delivered, but we were wrong. The cabinets didn't match the measurements, pieces were missing, and the overall quality of the cabinets did not match what he was selling. We opted for his mid grade cabinets(forevermark cabinets). Once they arrived and we were able to look at the brand, it was clear Michael marked up his cabinets 3 or 4x and just sold them to us. Before i start telling you about my experience I must remind you that you have a right to contact contractors state license-board and file a complaint as i will do if you have been wronged by this business. Now let me tell you what happened. I ordered my cabinet order on may 1st. It was supposed to be delivered on may 31st Michael said he is busy and can deliver on jun 7th. It did not happen. He said it will be delivered on end of jun. I finally got them on July 7th Only to find out some doors are missing and he said his employees asked for more money and took some of my cabinet doors with them and left. He promised to make them and deliver it. It took a month and when he delivered the doors they were wrong sizes so he took them back. He called me to tell me he has it ready and I should go pick it up. I did but once he showed me the door it was the right size but the color was totally wrong not to mention they had stains on them. When i asked him about it he said i am sorry my shop made a mistake and let me fix it. Today is sept 22. It has been 5 months and i still dont have my cabinet doors. He always has some excuse but blames everyone one in his shop but as a shop owner he does not stand behind his work. He told me there is a one year workmanship warranty But when my contractor pointed out the issues with the cabinets he delivered, he did not do anything Work with him and his shop at your own risk. If you ask me to describe my experiences with ML Cabinets, I would say it was like hiking. The hike was long and hard, but the gorgeous view when I reached the top made it all worth it. Leena and Michael were very helpful and responsive during the planning and designing process. We had to wait about a month longer than expected to get the cabinets, which I kinda got used to when remodeling during the pandemic (everything is delayed!). When we finally received the cabinets, there were issues with finish (paint) and size. Michael took multiple trips to our home to fix it, which took about another month. It took lot of time and patience but in the end my kitchen came out gorgeous and has been holding up very well after 4 months. All of our visitors are impressed. I hope ML Cabinets will be able to figure out how to better navigate during the pandemic and improve on quality control. Other than that great job! and thank you for standing up to your products. I generally never write a YELP review but I knew I needed to do one for Michael and Lina from ML cabinets and stones. Why? Because they've earned it and honestly, they truly deserve more than the 5 stars that we are allowed to rate them for. My journey for kitchen remodeling started off with me only wanting to reface my kitchen cabinets and just replacing the kitchen countertops due to budget issues. I contacted many places just for this quote, including ML Cabinets and Stones. When I spoke to Michael, he had informed me that, although he does not reface kitchen cabinets, that he would help me find someone who would. I was blown away by that offer. I mean, who does that? Even though Michael did not offer refacing services, we still wanted to move forward with changing out our countertops, so we decided to visit his showroom to see what he had to offer. Fast forward to many store and home visits, and dozens and dozens of texts later ,and fact checking everything that Michael told us, we decided to move forward with a FULL kitchen remodeling from ML Cabinets and Stones. This includes changing out the kitchen cabinets, countertops, center island, and even the cabinet handles were from Michael. Throughout this process, I have to say that Michael really went above and beyond to ensure we, as consumers, were properly educated in what we were purchasing (again we fact checked everything). Michael gave us great kitchen ideas that we incorporated and the results are truly stunning. For our kitchen remodel, we chose the white shaker cabinets for the perimeter and gray for center island, and again, I could not be more pleased with the outcome. While some of the cabinets were sent with minor flaws, and they were not a fault of Michael's, he was prompt in replacing them for me, not even once telling me to just "accept" them. Truly goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. Response time? What can I say here? I text all hours and every day and Michael has responded to each one of them (this includes texts at 10pm as well) -- truly cares about customer service. And I would like to point out the service has gone well past from when we paid for the cabinets and stones. It was extended well beyond even us having completed the kitchen remodel. One of the main reasons why I chose ML Cabinets and Stones is because you get the dedication and attention from them. They make you feel as though you are their only customer. I had quotes from other places and, while they were slightly less, I did not choose them because they did not give me the "time of day"...not like ML Cabinets and Stones. As mentioned, Michael and Lina helped me transform my kitchen, taking it from being outdated to one that is, modern, bright, FUNCTIONAL and just beautiful . Let me tell you about my experience. I hired ML cabinets (Michael) design and build custom cabinets for my home in mid May. I paid a little over half as a deposit and the agreed to pay the final once more than 80% of the cabinets have been delivered. They promised that the cabins would be completed but the end of June. At the end of June, my cabinets have still did not been delivered. Many attempts to contact Michael were unanswered. Finally, at the end of July, Michael said he had my cabinets ready. I had my kitchen demolished to prepare for the new install. I expected to have ready to install cabinets instead, I received only a framework. Michael delivered items in bits and pieces. None of the cabinets were complete. Many items remained missing. I was left with a nonfunctional kitchen for more than a month. Michael promised to have the rest of the delivered. I called and texted him, many times again. My attempts were again unanswered. At the end of August, Michael requested that I pay him the full balance as he had delivered 80% of the cabinets and he will complete the order. In addition, Michael entered our house to deliver items without our consent. I fulfilled my commitment but even until now (December, 2020), I am still missing many drawers and panels. Michael has consistently failed to finish the job, delivering defective and failing to deliver all items. I called without response and was unable to leave a message on the voicemail. I had my attorney send him a demand letter but ML Cabinets never responded. I sent a demand letter via email 2 times, detailing all the missing items also without response. I had given ML Cabinets more than enough time to resolve the issues. I have filed papers with the court to seek the maximum penalty. Save yourself time and unnecessary stress by avoiding this dishonest business. read more

My mom and I are remodeling our kitchen and were looking to purchase new cabinets. My cousin had recommended ML Cabinets & Stones to us since they had remodeled their kitchen and purchases cabinets from them a couple months ago as well. We visited the show room where we chose our cabinets and counter tops. The staffs are extremely helpful and patient. Lina made suggestions and answered all of our questions. They spent almost the entire day to help us pick and design the perfect layout. The reason for that was because my mom had mentioned to Lina that we had a budget and it was very important for us to stay within it. Cabinets were never delivered and no refund was ever offered or given back by owners. Customer service is non-existent unless they want your money before delivery so beware!!! If they have issues, logistics, materials, etc... they don't give you any status. For projects of this magnitude, not giving updated status of your project is unacceptable. They say they will work with your contractor, nope didn't happen. We were very patient and understanding as we know this was an unprecedented pandemic two years but the owners promised they would deliver. I understand industry standard is to pay in full before delivery but they have taken advantage of this standard on many customers if you read the reviews. I wish I could give it no stars! read more

Owner of this business name My aka Michael is very accommodating until the moment you hand over the money. He's unprofessional, passive aggressive, zero expertise in cabinet selling. I've had three general contractors try to install my cabinets and they all stated that he measured my kitchen incorrectly, recommended solutions that showed his ignorance and lack of experience in cabinet industry. He denies measuring our kitchen when we have recorded video clips of him taking out his measuring tape to measure all the walls, existing layout of our cabinets. On top of that, he will start off with a low estimated cost to lure you in, but all the additional costs are hidden and added deceitfully. For example, he'll up-sell and recommend more expensive cabinets (that won't fit into space or overall kitchen design). We have always been upfront with your designer about buying a 30" sink for our kitchen. rather than sell moldings according to measurements, he'll make you pay for a whole set in package (excess amounts w/o accepting returns/refunds). Hardware and cabinet organizing inserts are overpriced- buy these accessories elsewhere. When you mention these challenges, he defers the issue to the general contractor to resolve making you pay out of pocket more for labor to fix it. We are lucky to have general contractors to help see us through with the creative modifications and install while ML Cabinets & Stones turned their backs on us. I highly recommend against doing business with this short sighted, short term cabinet reseller. They are not direct dealers of Forevermark Cabinets so you won't benefit from resolving issues down the road. We are forced to go directly through Forevermark Cabinetry manufacture since we are still under our 2 year warranty (cabinets were just delivered on 9.3.2016)- ML Cabinets denied us this right as consumers. We also filed a complaint with BBB and owner's wife Linh communicates in an unprofessional manner, personally attacks myself and my general contractor, lacks common sense and can't stick to addressing just facts. She continually states her title as "President" and calls their tiny three people operated cabinet business as "Corporate". Please make up your mind and be on the same page- business owner, President, no owner- whatever title, license or non license you have. No one cares, all we care about is you doing what's right for your customers. Kitchen renovations is a complex project- do not make the same mistake I made by going with the wrong cabinet reseller. Every kitchen remodel have it's complications, but My (Michael) and Linh lacks the skills as business owners to manage conflict or reduce escalations. You will be at their mercy and result in loss of money, time and will compromise your kitchen design. * BTW, people have cameras in their homes now. We have recorded video clip of you carrying up our pantry with our GC placing it upside down and proceeded to slam, drag the pantry on our wood floors when the hardware inside got stuck. Lastly, to speak bad about my GC shows your level of unprofessionalism. He was the very person that referred us to you. Because of him, we made a mistake to not research your business first. You install your own cabinets- what's your business license? They are really a small operations with no buying power whatsoever. So, they can't afford to buy anything decent, only able to buy poorly made Chinese cabinets and mark them up as high end luxury brand. Therefore, be aware of their bait and switch scheme. They will market their cabinets as high end and with high prices too, go out of their ways to measure your kitchen, made suggestions, etc to gain your trust ---- and then send you cheap Chinese made cabinets that may not fit with no guarantees. They have no warehouse too despite their claim of a massive warehouse. They are simply middle man passing goods through with high mark up. I found out later that they tricked a number of contractors & customers who are trying to support them as a small business & minority own. These customers ended up throwing these cheap ML cabinets to the trash and had to re-order from well established companies instead, which they should have done in the first place. I think the 5 stars reviews are fake. This review is to warn those after me to be aware of this establishment poor business practice. If you want poorly made Chinese cabinets at high prices and no guarantees, then go to ML Cabinets & Stones. Love the products and end result. Their cabinets exceeding my custom cabinets and was delivered to our door within 3 weeks. By the way, the cost comparison is about 3 time less. Our kitchen remodel started with a visit to ML Cabinets & Stones on a Saturday morning. We were there from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm designing our kitchen with Michael and Lena. They were both very professional and worked with us designing every detail of our new kitchen. contacted ML cabinets about a month ago to contract for two bath vanity doors. I gave them a sample for design and color. At their request I emailed them exact sizes, type of hinges. I made several phone calls, emails and went to the store with another sample but all I got were promises they would get me a price. I never got a price, never received any answers to my emails or phone calls. They said their store was under construction which was not an excuse since I gave them everything they needed to complete the order.
