I stopped into this shop during the summer months after picking Thing Two up from summer camp. I…read moreapologize in advance for my naivete, but prior to coming here, I had no idea this brand existed. When I stepped in the door, I was greeted promptly and asked upon arrival if I had frequented the store previously. Of course, the answer was "no". Therefore, I was given a crash course on the brand. To my surprise as an Austinite this is an ATX founded brand (who knew, well, I guess everyone except for me). Although founded in the ATX, this brand uses authentic Mexican Artisans and factories to bring these colorful handbags to life. After getting an introduction, I was offered a glass of champagne, which of course I didn't say no to. When walking around the store, consumers will see hand-stiched leather in vibrant patterns. Each handbag, satchel, crossbody, wallet, etc. has intricate beadwork and are of high quality craftsmanship and designed for durability. Aside from the bags, this store has smaller items to include key chains and notebooks. Each display in the store is artistic in a way that shows creativity and efficient brand merchandising. After about 40 minutes of browsing, drinking champagne and indulging in sweets, I elected to purchase a clutch which was a last season bag. Because of this, it was $90 less than what I would have paid the season prior. However, it should be noted, the store has current and last season bags and accessories. The staff working will advise consumers upon entering which tables and shelves have sale/prior season items. The service here was akin to the type of service I receive when shopping at Saks or Niemans but just a tinny step below, which makes sense as this store is more of an affordable luxury store as opposed to a high-end end luxury store. If in Smithville, ATX or Katy, this store is definitely worth a visit if only for the champagne and treats! #supportlocal #supportMexicanArtisans

That said, I very much enjoyed my visit to the beauty supply. The owner was very friendly and quick to help. I didn't see what I was looking for initially but the shop was quiet and felt very inviting. Also, she had some super cool products. Most available anywhere but, I did see this really cool 24K gold condition and hair shine. So naturally I had to buy it. Anyways, back to the visit, even if this wasn't the only store in Kyle,TX , I would still recommend this place. In addition, they offer many different types of discounts available. Much more than I've ever heard before. At the moment, it appears the shop is still amassing supplies. So it was less there than say a B&P. But, if they don't have it during your visit, ask about it. The owner was more than willing to order what I needed. For me, this shop is hands down worth a visit. By her actions and the way she interacted with me, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. As well as being clean and orderly. I also confirmed, the store hours listed are in fact correct as well.

Re: Lip Gloss Credo…read moreBeauty says that one of the top five toxic items you should replace is lip balm or lipstick because it rubs into your mouth. I'm surprised Credo Beauty doesn't carry Eleve lip glosses. I'm allergic to jojoba oil, and Eleve is one of the few clean lip glosses that doesn't contain jojoba oil. Its primary oil is castor oil. It outperforms W3ll People as it doesn't dry out, and it tastes better than Kylie lip glosses (not clean, I know). I haven't physically been in the brick and mortar store yet, however I did send my husband there to buy my Christmas present. I love all eight of my Eleve lip glosses! My only suggestion for improvement is that the branding on the lip glosses rubs off after a while.

My sister asked for their refund policy because she wanted to wait til the end of the day to see if her skin/eyes react to the make up. The lady who worked there assured us that there's 14 days return if something goes wrong. I was pleased with first visit we got. Eventually my sister had allergic reactions unfortunately. I went by to do a refund on makeup we got. Other lady that we didn't work with last time was VERY DISGUSTING RUDE. I couldn't believe my own eyes. I actually got some for myself and kept them. But after what I have experienced with their attitude with returns? I'm definitely not coming back. No way I could accept that kind of treatment from them as a customer. That's too bad.
