Not only did Sammy get what we were going through, he was down to earth and helped us pick just the right entryway tile we wanted for the landing. He helped us lay out around 10 samples on the ground, and its funny, what we went with was not at all what I was thinking we would get. I happy with Sammy's suggestion and the final product; Italian porcelain with slight grey undertones and it sparkles gently when light hits it. Well, on Day 2 at 6pm on a Thursday, less than 72 hours before my guest's early Sunday arrival, he scurried away mid-job and left the window's wood and metal frame in worse condition than when he started. He used a chemical paint remover that compromised the surface, then left when things got complicated. No referral. Just a "sorry" and out the door. Now I had less time, a worse problem, and no clear path forward. Enter NYC Grout Pros. Elizabeth initially told me they were booked until Monday, which I understood, but once she heard my timeline, she led with empathy and assured me she and Daniel would make Friday work. It felt like a miracle! I went to sleep knowing I wasn't alone. Friday, Daniel arrives around 2:30pm, and what struck me immediately was how supported he was by his team.
