Our 3 year old cream cotton sofas were really beginning to look awful thanks to our yellow labrador retriever. I checked Yelp for some recommendations and since Vango had the best reviews, I called them. Bob came over the next day to give me an estimate for 2 oversized very soiled sofas and an ottoman. While he was here he noticed my wood floors which were due for resanding, restaining, etc, again thanks to my lovable dog. He told me about a sandless restoring process. It's not a restaining, but so much less expensive. We agreed upon a price for everything and his sons Jake and Robert came a few days later to do the work. They were here for several hours and made sure everything was perfect. The furniture came out great and the floors (except for a spot Bob had told me would look better, but not great because the stain had worn down to the bare wood), looked terrific. It bought me a couple of years before I have to spend thousands on the restaining and resanding. I could not be more pleased with Bob and his great sons who did such a great job. On another note, I had an area rug outside that was bound for a "tag sale" that my company was doing to raise monies for the hurricane victims. When Bob heard that, he said that he would pick it up and clean it for free. In the end, when he inspected it, he said that because it had been sitting outside for several weeks, it had mildewed in spots and it really wasn't worth saving. Still, I was so touched that he would offer to clean it to help our sale to benefit the victims of this year's devastating hurricanes. We had an excellent experience with VanGo Cleaning & Restoration on a very extensive and challenging job. We recently purchased a new house, and the entire house needed to be cleaned and the smoke and pet odor (which was overwhelming) had to be removed before we could move in. Bob and Jake did an awesome job with our furniture and carpets. We had two rooms of furniture cleaned. One chair, although relatively new, looked old because its the dog's favorite chair and the one my husband uses to read the newspaper. A previous cleaning service could not do anything to restore the chair. Bob and Jake magically made it look new again. The den furniture gets a lot of wear, and that too looks amazing. They took the area rugs out to be cleaned and they came back looking like new. There was one tiny stain left, and Jake did not give up until that too was gone. The day after the cleaning, a stranger's dog got loose and the only way to catch it was to allow it in and try to capture it. She had run through all of our flower beds first so her muddy paws got all over the newly cleaned rugs. I cannot thank and praise Vango Cleaning & Restoration enough. We are first time homeowners and moved into a messy situation with our finished basement. The previous owners smoked in the basement for many years which caused nicotine build up on the walls, carpet and furniture. Vango Cleaning diligently worked around the clock hand cleaning the whole basement, using multiple cleaning methods and technology and even went above and beyond to help up with the unfinished side of the basement as well! During the cleaning process they discovered a patch of mold on one of the walls. We were immediately notified and they were able to cut out the mold and patch the wall and hand cleaned all the items affected. I called the owner Bob about cleaning the carpet of an apartment I just moved into. I kept noticing an odor but no one else seemed to think anything of it. Luckily Bob heard my concerns and he came to inspect the carpet the same day! He took a black light to the rug and proved that I was not crazy, there were quite a few spots. You would never know by looking at the carpet since there were no stains. He also took a look around at some other concerns I had and advised me on how I could handle all these things on my own. I was treated like family. He was able to fit me in within a few days to have his team lift the carpet, removing the old padding, treat the flooring, put down new pet proof padding, disinfect, treat, seal the back and front of the carpet. We found mold growing on a few drywall walls in our basement. Bob removed the affected walls, sealed off our basement and cleaned and removed all mold. He found a small leak behind one of the walls that was the root of the problem. He recommended and helped us to install a dehumidifier and fans with timers in the basement to keep the whole area dry for the future. We also hired Bob to repair the leak and restore our walls. His work is thorough and professional. It has been four months and our basement remains mold free! Bob is very personable and knowledgeable. I had the guys from Vango Cleaning and Restoration come and clean all the carpets in my apartment that I have just rented. Landlord said they cleaned the carpets with rental machine from the grocery store twice. Well, I knew it wasn't cleaned to my standards, so I called them, on the recommendation of a friend. They spent over and hour and a half, working hard on the 3 rooms. It came out perfect! And yes, they said it was still dirty after the landlords "cleaning". Mr. Deacon and his sons came and picked up my rugs which had been badly stained from my dog. They were extremely knowledgeable about the types of rugs I had, and informed me of the cleaning process.
