Apparently you can only book at this salon if you are prepared to use your PTO despite what their…read moreappointment openings online and posted business hours say. Insane. You really need someone that specialized to take a couple inches off in a simple hair cut that they cannot be accessed outside the hours everyone else is working? They came across as not wanting to work in the evening to accommodate someone who has a full time job or simply didn't want to do a short haircut and chose to purposely make it impossible so they wouldn't have to. Edit: They offered me other options AFTER leaving me on read for over 45 minutes and I expressed frustration over it. I also had to be the one to prompt asking for other later appointments that fit the time I was looking for. Not them. Also, booking a time you say you have openings for and are advertising but you don't actually plan to be able to accommodate is idiotic and poor customer service. Saturday was never offered as she claims and I couldn't do that anyway since I also work Saturdays. My only days off are the same days they are closed. Hence my request for an evening. Me having to be the one to prompt the problem solving and the vibe I got that they didn't want to have to work an evening or just didn't want to do short hair is why I ultimately rejected the Tuesday at 7pm option. It was, in fact, 'too late' but not in the way they meant. I was already a lost customer. Seems like they reject so many appointments too that she can't even keep it straight.

She did an amazing job with my haircut, and I absolutely love the result! Alexandra was professional, friendly, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. Thank you so much, Alexandra, for making my hair look and feel amazing!

My experience with Alexa was life changing--literally, I had a total hair transformation. If you…read morelook at my before and after you can see for yourself what a color correcting genius she is. It's incredible how she took what I came in with and transformed me into what I ended up with. My hair in the before picture was actually done at a professional salon, as hard as it is to believe, and it wasn't cheap. Alexa is so professional and at the same time caring that before she took me in as a client she encouraged me to reach out to the previous salon so they can correct their mistakes so I wouldn't have to pay double. I had lost faith in that other salon and also felt embarrassed to request a refund so I decided to take the L and redo my hair. It was absolutely destiny that brought me to her because I can say that I've never had the most perfect color and most perfect cut until she touched my hair. Her expertise is easily demonstrated in the photos but I also have to give credit to her as a person. She is so personable but professional at the same time she gives you the feeling like you've known her forever and you really feel like she's doing her best for you -- she made extra efforts that I haven't seen other stylists do. This is important because the salon experience can be dreadful, but she makes it so relaxed and she truly puts you at ease by frequently checking in on your beauty goals. I love her space too, it's in a big salon that has multiple small suites so it's just the two of you in the room without all the extra noise and chaos of other salons that have open chairs. I HIGHLY encourage you to just book a session with her and you'll be stunned and wonder why you didn't know about her sooner. It's fortunate to have a color expert locally! I actually live out of state and was visiting family at the time I booked with her, but traveling in special to book with her is going to be a must going forward! Thank you Alexa for all you do :)

Came here twice last year with my daughter and had an appointment with Kelsea. They had a "glitch"…read morein their system and I recalled having to wait 30 minutes where I was actually late for a brunch date with my girlfriends, which was not a huge deal at the time because Kelsea was very friendly and I liked how she took the time with her clients. Fast forward to today, scheduled an appointment online yesterday for 11am and according to her online availability, she was fully opened all morning. Drove all the way from Monrovia to Yorba Linda and walked in at 10:55am and was told due to a glitch in the system, was told she was behind and asked if I could come back at 12:30pm because she had two other clients ahead of me. A 10-30 mins wait, I would've understood, but an 1.5 hours wait WITH an appointment is straight up unacceptable and the fact that I had both an email AND phone number on file but they failed to provide me with a call was very unprofessional. She asked if I wanted to wait and I obviously couldn't due to the fact that I needed to bring my daughter to her volleyball game in an hour and for her to act surprised I asked to cancel instead of rescheduling is a joke to me. The most outrageous thing was when I looked up behind Kelsea and saw an older, short "hair stylist"looking at me with this smirk on her face. Was it funny that the lack of respect of their customers' time humorous to her? I haven't checked out other reviews yet but since this is the THIRD time from personal experience that they blame overbooking due to a "system glitch" in 12 months, I am starting to think this is possibly how they run their business. I hate having to leave negative reviews for businesses but they've definitely earned the worst experience I've ever had.
