They changed their answering service to an outsourced firm in probably another state which is way more horrible and have no clue of the facility, doctors and operation. But the worst came when the doctor moved away to another location, and they arranged me with another provider 3 months from my requested appointment date. Two days prior, got a phone call that the new provider won't be taking new patients. Fine, left 40 Cross st, and went to the original provider who now works in another location miles away. Even worse experience because of timing/medical record-keeping issues. Now I need my medical records as I want to switch doctors. They have what's on file but the knowledge about my issues with the doctor is completely lost. If you can, avoid this place at all costs. Overall I'd give my primary doctor a four star (after seeing him for several years) - he's fine except when there's more than one problem I see him for, he's overwhelmed or annoyed. I'm ok to visit him twice for two different problems - the issue is timing, appointments etc. suck. I'd rather pay him twice in the same visit. Unfortunately, my primary doctor is not accessible to me anymore.

When Dr Srinivasan walked into the room she shook my boyfriend's hand that was sitting next to me, skipped me and went across the room to greet my fiancé's mother. After talking for a while to my fiance and his mother, she finally talked to me and her question was: " How long have you been working with her?" And I repeated: working with her? Doing what exactly? My fiance jumped in and explained to her that I was his fiance. Her eye balls came out of their sockets. Then she simply said sorry. Now let us assume that I was the caretaker. Dr. Srinivasan doesn't greet caretakers of any race, or black caretakers. I saw a few patients of color there. Folks you guys need to think twice. It is clear that this ignorant has some deeply rooted issues. Either she is racist or rude or both. Be careful who you trust your health with. Obviously this physician does not understand the meaning of the Hippocratic Oath. She is far from being humble, to say the least she personifies RUDENESS. I hope that the managing entity for Norwalk Medical Group will take this into consideration and will make certain that such attitude is not tolerated in the practice and that the patients, their caretakers, and family are treated with respect during their visit to the center. Updated: 5/15/23 Thank you to Erin in billing customer…read moreservice who followed up with me regarding the bills I have gotten and was wonderful and so helpful. Went into the ER for abdominal pain on 12/9/22 and was given pain meds at 7:30 am. Around 2 pm I asked for pain meds again. Nurse left and said he'd get them and never came back. Another nurse came in and I asked her and she said she needed to take my BP first, then she left to get the meds and while she was gone I began vomiting and I was in the hallway begging for pain meds. Finally after an hour of severe pain I was given some medication. I ended up have 2 surgeries in 2 days due to gallbladder and stones in duct areas. Fast forward to March and since I didn't have insurance the hospital billing department and I came to an agreement of an amount to pay. Since it wouldn't work to send the money over the phone, I went to the hospital and gave them a cashiers check. The cashiers check was not received well and I was told I should have bought a personal check. Not sure why a personal check was preferred but they took and it and I was told by Irene Perez I could NOT get a receipt of payment until the check clears so a week went by and she told me it cleared and she said that there would be a receipt in the mail. This was March 22! I have called once a week since then and left messages regarding my receipt which they have YET to mail me. I did get a copy of the check from my bank, but all of a sudden I am getting new bills regarding this hospital visit from December! last week Ms. Perez now said she couldn't send a receipt but an itemized bill of payment. I'm so done and will start reaching out the supervisors and the board if needed. So ridiculous!

My daughter came to the ER with a lump and pain. The staff took vitals. We got a room. But when the doctor entered our room energy shifted. He examine her told her just take a stich bath and Tylenol. He stated it was a cyst. My daughter went to her doctor office the following day. The doctor determine is was a boil and lanced it. The ER staff didn't know what a boil was and couldn't even lance a boil. Sad.
