I went to see Dr. Somekh today (9/13/2016) and he was FABULOUS! I was so scared, because when it comes to your heart, how can you not be? If I could say one word about him -- HE IS VERY THOROUGH! I got called in and the nurse Rakel, I hope I'm spelling her name right, was a sweet heart (no pun intended ), I told her I was scared of needles and she went out and got a smaller needle to take blood without me even asking her, she has very soft precise hands, one poke she got the vein and done. Doctor Somekh arrived shortly after and talked to me for a long time, not only did he ask me what was going on but he also asked me about my life style, like I said thorough, was very polite, his bed side manner is on point. I'm scheduled for a few more tests in the future. I'm confident we are going to get to the bottom of what is going on. Everything in Doctor Somekh's office is welcoming, the front desk ladies are so polite and friendly and the nurses are sooooooooo sweet and friendly! I left the doctors office feeling confident. PS: next to his office there is another office (it has nothing to do with Doctor Somekh) the Nurse/front desk or whatever she is.... She is like a troll that lives under the bridge! From the moment we got there she had her face scrunched up like she was sucking on a lime and had a stick lodged sideways up her butt. The only reason I'm mentioning this is that she was extremely rude!!!! To get to doctor Somek's castle -- you have to walk by the troll that lives under the bridge!

The kind of care & attention that I received from Dr.Pascaru was second to none. When I first saw the Dr. My cholesterol was crazy high, my blood pressure was also through the roof. I took her advice & took a Calcium Cardiac Score Test to check if I have any calcium deposits built up in my arteries, The results showed that some build up had already started. Dr. Pascaru took the time to explain what all this meant & how it would effect me going forward if I didn't make some serious changes in my life. Her concern helped me find the will power I needed to make these changes. I completely changed my life around. I now eat a Paleo diet & exercise regularly. Expect to spend at least two hours here for something that should take a fraction of the time. On top of that, they threatened to charge me if I didn't agree to take a test. I finally agreed, only for them to come back and say "forget it" because the test wouldn't even be valid by my next appointment. So what happened to that charge?! Completely disorganized and untrustworthy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

She is a broken record, upon each appointment, all she does is ask for "oh sir, did you bring us a referral". Why is it that she asks when we're standing there ready to pay our co-payments. She can very well ask when she is calling my father confirming his appointment the week prior. She is irresponsible and does not know the ins and outs of billing and insurances. Apparently, it seems that the Dr. coded the labs as diagnostic when they were supposed to be preventative. My insurance has been trying to get in touch with this Dr FOR MONTHS to request a coding review for the orders he sent to Labcorp, but no results. Too many transfers and no results. That being said, I don't recommend this place. I have attached the screenshot of my Insurance texts and my last email I sent to this office's Billing Department so you can have your conclusion. STAY AWAY FROM THIS THIS PLACE!!!
