At first, it was difficult for us to adapt to putting so much effort into planning and thinking about the project - but Elinor kept us on track!, When it came time to execute the job the actual work was not nearly so daunting. The staff love the new space, and we have more room than we actually imagined now. The trick is to appreciate a half empty shelf - no need to keep filling things up just because you can! We highly recommend Elinor for domestic or industrial work. Bryan Common, Optaderm Products Inc.

I needed help preparing our small apartment for the arrival of baby 2. Hilda helped turn what would…read morehave been a very overwhelming task into an enjoyable one. Using the KonMari method, we decluttered and organized one category at a time. I am so grateful to have found her! Each time she came and left I felt a sense of accomplishment and relief. And was able to enjoy my space and feel that much more ready to welcome baby. Her gentle listening approach also made me feel a complete partner in the decluttering process. For each possession type (clothing, toiletry, food, paper, sentimental) we took everything out to be sorted at once. We sorted into categories to keep, to keep for a limited time, to purge/give away. She even went the extra mile to bring some items to the thrift store for me, with my consent, so they wouldn't just sit in my entryway waiting to leave. Overall I grew in my ability to consciously consider the possessions I bring into my home. A must for those of us trying to live in small spaces and with a positive benefit to our mental health, and bank account. I was able to release gifts that had been given to us, but were not sparking joy, without guilt. It helped me clarify how to ask for/decline gifts or even useful items people wanted to pass on, but I didn't love or need (especially with kids, this happens often). It even affected my purchasing habits, as I was more aware of how a "good buy" is not really a good buy unless it adds value to the life we intend to live. If you're looking for a coach and partner in tidying/decluttering, look no further.

She even asked me to write out the vision of my ideal lifestyle and whenever I had difficulty letting go of some of the things I still wanted to hold onto, she would remind me of my vision and ask "does it spark joy for you NOW?". She then helped me organize my place so that all my cupboards & drawers were not only tidy & pleasing to look at but easy to find what I wanted at the moment. By the end of the process, I had such pleasure just being present in my spacious place and everywhere my eyes rested sparked so much joy! I am so grateful for the Konmari method as Hilda showed me not to keep my precious things in cupboards & storage boxes to bring out for special occasions but use it now as every day is special especially now that I'm a senior every moment counts! Thank you, Hilda, for your loving patience in motivating me to make my dream lifestyle a reality and in the process making the tidying-up experience such a joyful journey.

Communication was excellent and very quick. Horace provided a detailed quotation and several 3D computer illustrations from different angles based on my requirements that gave a very realistic representation of the final product. Horace and Felicia then came for an on-site visit to take measurements, discuss options and to finalize the quotation. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. Once our design and quotation was finalized, I paid the deposit and my order was sent for local production in Richmond. About 3 weeks later, our order was ready and Horace and Felicia came for installation. The installation took a few hours and Horace removed the existing wire racks and did a nice job filling in the original holes. Everything went very well and I'm extremely happy with the end result. I very much enjoyed getting to know them and they were a real pleasure to work with. I can give them my highest recommendation for any closet or storage needs that you may have. Thanks guys!

She let me take out as many tile samples as I needed (which she kindly put back afterwards). I took home 7 samples to show my husband (which she didn't charge me a deposit for). We decided on one which ended up needing to be ordered from Ontario. Which I was told would take 2 weeks. I made the order by phone with another women who works there (I don't remember her name). She was also very lovely. She called the supplier and got a date for the tiles. They guarantee it would arrive in 3 weeks. Since this was longer than the first timeline, I was worried it would be even longer, and I already had the contractor ready for the install. The tiles arrived on time as promised and they arranged delivery for me (also on time, no hassle). When I recieved the tiles I noticed that one of the packages was broken. I called and they said not to worry, they would reimburse me. After a bit of a scary moment (not knowing if we'd have enough for the floor because it turned out two boxes were brokwn) it all worked out. Star tile refunded me for the two boxes without any hassle. They were really great to deal with. Highly recommended.
