I've never been to a place where I wanted at least one of everything. The best part was how nicely wrapped each item was as part of the service when checking out. The store clerk took great care to show the value. The gentleman running the shop was a pleasure. I truly enjoyed the experience. Even gave a chocolate Hersheys kiss in a small bag along with the stores business card. This is customer service at its finest. I would want my operation running as nicely as this beautiful shop. Truly unique items with a variety of sections. Great for gifts.....and splurging on some self items. I saved the receipt purposely to write a review. It took me some time as I visited in September but have thought of the place over a dozen times since visiting. I do not write reviews often but this place deserves a hands down praise. The cashiers name on the receipt is Sysadmin so I am not sure how to thank the amazing clerk. 9/24/24 11:59 AM. I wish they had a shop like this near me. Pleased to see that I can order online! I will never forget this place, forever burned in my memory. If I am ever back in Houston, I will be back at Bliss on 19th! J. Chapter

They gave me exellent service despite being a 1st time client & NOT an interior decorator that will give them tons of future businesses!!!!! Sometimes, when you go to certain decor stores, they usually cater to interior designer clients (bread and butter), therefore, they become snooty to wanderers. They would treat you as wasting their time. S-Home treated me so nicely, patiently and they helped me choose the PERFECT floral arrangement for my breakfast room. Never even a second where they made me feel like I was wasting their time. Before S-home I was only aware of Creative Branch and a few others and believe me, S-HOME blows any place away! I can never shop anywhere else! My husband rarely compliments any arrangements that I have bought before (trust me, I spend crazy $$$$$) but he would not stop talking about how much he loves, Steven's design. Steven is on another level! Top notch! My only regret, I wish, I have known them before! Never too late!

Raul was very helpful on the phone, sent pictures and measurements, and my husband and I went right away. They were the perfect high-quality leather sofa, and loveseat at the perfect price! (The shop was lovely and I found a few other eclectic items as well!) At checkout, when I explained why I needed the leather (having allergic/anaphylactic/respiratory reactions to a new fabric sofa and loveseat we purchased 6 weeks ago), Raul went above and beyond. Raul personally arranged for his delivery man to come in at 7am to load and deliver the next morning before the store opened so I wouldn't have to wait 3-5 days for delivery. I didn't ask for special treatment - he did it out of the kindness of his own heart! In fact, Raul (owner) himself and his driver delivered, set up, and picked up the other set for me at 8:00 the next morning. I cannot thank them enough for their care, concern, and willingness to go the extra mile to help me!!! They are literally lifesavers!!! Potros Resale will be my first stop and my first and highest recommendation from now on!

Very disappointing experience after 25+ years as a loyal customer…read more I spent hours in the store buying a couch and was only told it was "discontinued." Afterward, I found many negative reviews about that model (including BBB complaints). I contacted them the next morning (not even 24 hours later) asking to cancel or exchange--even offering to spend more--but they refused due to an "as-is" policy. If a product has known issues, that should be disclosed upfront. Failing to do so is deceptive, I wasn't trying to return and walk away--I was willing to buy something else--but they wouldn't work with me at all. When they sell furniture there that has been discontinued it is probably has nothing to do with the manufacturer not making it anymore, it is because there were reported problems with it.
