The team radically transformed our backyard to a wonderful space. They were incredibly professional and clearly have a plan and know what they're doing. They also took great steps to keep our house clean during the project ( they had to trek through our downstairs playroom to access the backyard, hauling debris, plants, and dirt through and avoiding making a mess). We couldn't recommend them more. Thank you!

We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. He came back with a rough sketch of what we were looking for, and an estimate within our budget that included hardscaping *and* landscaping, along with irrigation and a contingency budget. (Lots of contractors we spoke to did landscaping or hardscaping, but not both; and none came with design ideas.) As demolition was ending, Monica came back with more specific designs, including for our deck and specific pollinator-friendly and low-water plants. The design discussion was collaborative and she took into account that the yard would be used by dogs and kids (thus plants needed to withstand less-than-mindful foot traffic). The crew were always on time and left the site (and our garage) cleaner than they found it. Thank you to Rob, Monica, Ryan, Mick, Oscar, and Keith for a fabulous job! As you'll see from before pics, the concrete deck was uneven, small, and the yard was a weedy sand pit. Now it's an amazing entertainment space where the kids can play safely, bees and hummingbirds can catch a meal, and then rest of us can hang out and enjoy!

Tsering took our small, weirdly shaped, overgrown backyard and transformed it into a functional piece of art--all in only four weeks! We are so happy that our son will be able to enjoy it for years to come. Tsering is not just a contractor, but an artist and a craftsman. He does everything from start to finish. He provides a glimmer of his vision early on, in a simple one-page design. Once he starts working, he refines that vision and brings it to life with his amazing team. At the end of each day, we were shocked at how much they got done and at the quality of the craftsmanship. Tsering takes incredible pride in his work. After designing and building a beautiful fence for us, he geeked out over some of special hardware he installed to make it extra secure (and we otherwise would not have noticed). Moments like that came up during each phase of the project. Tsering also used the best materials, even when left to his discretion. He purchased more Ipe wood, poured more concrete, and even bought a bigger maple tree than in the estimate. (He did not charge us extra.) During the course of our project, Tsering also found many ways to improve our backyard (and home) that went beyond the scope of the project. He re-stucco'd an old balcony, re-did the weatherproofing of an old door, sawed through several busted lockboxes, and added an extra little Ipe wall. Because he was ahead of schedule on the project, he didn't charge us for any of it (not even materials). We've attached a few before and after photos, but they honestly barely do justice to his work. Tsering is one of a kind. If you want a backyard that looks like his portfolio, you should hire him. We are hoping that one day we'll be able to get on his calendar for our front yard as well.

From our first meeting, Tsering had a creative vision for the space, more nuanced than other contractors we met. We appreciate craftsmen like Tsering who bring a strong POV on the right way to do things, more than just building to a spec, and steer you away from bad decisions. Tsering personally supervised our project, and was onsite every day, often for significant periods of time. This is a very collaborative, hands-on, personalized approach from a small team, not a huge operation with many crews in the field. You feel like he treats your project like his own, with a high quality of work and attention to detail. It is a very cohesive design, site plan, materials, plants all working together beautifully. Tsering is great to work with - we appreciate his easy-going nature, patience, and sense of humor. Cannot recommend more highly.

They managed every aspect of the project with a high standard of quality and strict attention to detail. Design Expertise: The team was incredibly thoughtful during the planning phase. Their design insights optimized the layout of the hardscape and plants, resulting in a highly cohesive and functional outdoor space. Quality & Speed: The workmanship on the pavers is outstanding, with precise cuts and proper grading. The irrigation and landscaping were integrated seamlessly. In addition to the high quality, the team worked efficiently and completed the project as scheduled. Thoroughness & Cleanup: They were meticulous from start to finish. Once the work was completed, they performed a timely and thorough cleanup, leaving the entire property spotless. The actual people who did the work especially electrical and irrigation were horrible. They turned off the water, with no communication and forgot 2x to turn it back on. The electrical work included an orange cord across the yard, not only an eye sore but a tripping hazard. ( We had to fix ourselves) A bush was removed on accident, I understand it happens but they replaced it with 2 trees in 2 planters that are 2 different colors. It is an eye sore. The irrigation was done wrong, we had to hire someone to come fix it. We paid a good amount and for the price I would have thought it would have been done right. A few weeks after it was completed the water company came and had to rip up the new landscape because they covered it. When I reached out to the project manager, Kirby....he left me on read. I feel like they got our last payment and now dont stand behind the work. Be careful if you hire them.

For months, we called and followed up multiple times regarding the issues with the irrigation and the condition of the work, and we were repeatedly ignored. You were aware of who we were despite the Yelp review being under a different name because we were the ones consistently reaching out with no acknowledgment. Regarding the irrigation issue: the damage wouldn't have occurred if your crew had properly capped the existing irrigation before installing the pavers. The fact that you had to redo a section later at no charge doesn't negate that the issue was caused by your team's oversight in the first place. Had you taken responsibility and communicated with us when we initially reached out, we wouldn't have had to resort to a public complaint. It's disappointing that it took a Yelp review to get any kind of acknowledgment.

We hashed out the details with Nate over email. Our area was 8.5 feet by 21.5 feet and involved digging out the subgrade, setting concrete and rebar, tiles (including a curved path), and gravel. We set the construction date for February 19th which lasted until February 25th. Jesus, the foreman, was great at communicating the steps required for the build. He would often check in to make sure that we got the end product we desired and was receptive to feedback for the design. With their workmanship guarantee, we have nothing to worry about. Great turnaround time!! Price was reasonable and they didn't try to force us to spend more than we needed to. Jesus and his team made sure my husband and I were involved in every step of the process. He explained his concerns and what they were going to do to try to fix it. He even came back after the project was done the next day to make sure it was installed correctly and he checked the drainage multiple times with a hose. It has yet to be battle tested by the weather but I'm happy with how it turned out! We are even considering them for another project.
