They've gone to bat for us when we've had issues with postal permits and delivery issues. They routinely think of slightly different ways of doing thing than the ones we initially envisioned that make our lives easier, our publications better, and our bills less expensive. Our contact there, Bruce, is so integral a part of how we get our work done that he may as well be another employee of the college, half the time. At my company, we aren't big enough to have an in-house print shop--and we're small enough to highly value knowing who we're working with so that person can be a colleague, rather than a salesman, to us. If you're concerned about environmental impact, Mid-American uses soy-based inks and can use Forest Stewartship Council-approved paper--and can get your publications FSC-certified. Print FSC and Soy Ink logos on your publications, and you can make a statement to to your Green customers. Can't recommend them highly enough.
