The instructor is an exceptionally talented artist, but what stood out even more was her ability to teach with patience, clarity, and presence. Her instruction created a calm, focused environment where it was easy to slow down, breathe, and simply be in the process of making art. Each class felt like a meditative respite. For a few hours, I was able to step out of the stress of life and reconnect with creativity, observation, and a sense of inner quiet. That is a rare and meaningful gift. The space itself is welcoming and supportive, and you can feel the care that goes into both the teaching and the environment. I'm deeply grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this art space to anyone looking not only to grow their skills, but to find a peaceful, restorative creative community.

The center may look unassuming from the outside, but inside you'll find classes in everything from knitting to weaving, printmaking to pottery, basic beading techniques to advanced metalsmithing for jewelry, and so much more! Classes are affordable, geared toward a wide range of skills and ages, and very enjoyable. The summer program features a great kids' camp that fills up very quickly and provides kids of all ages and backgrounds a chance to have fun and develop their creative and artistic skills at the same time. The staff both running the center and teaching the classes are kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable, which makes for an easy time in both signing up and taking the classes. Most of the instructors are themselves local artists and craftspeople who enrich our city with diverse and unique talents, and generously share their skills with the community at large. This school is an absolute waste of time and money. I attended while it was "The School of…read moreCommunication Arts" and it was absurd how poorly managed this place was. Our instructor would leave our classroom after just a couple of minutes with no real direction or instruction. He was busy hanging out with a fellow instructor in one of the other domes. Meanwhile we were doing a drawing class in a poorly lit room where the only light was up by where the instructor would typically teach. He did this for weeks. When our ENTIRE class went to talk to Deborah, and let her know of these problems and a lack of instructor, she told us ALL that we were lying and that the instructor wouldn't do that because he was one of their most esteemed instructors. She wouldn't even walk to the classroom to see if we were telling the truth. How would an entire class be able to leave their class without the instructor wondering what was up and going to look for them. Deborah denied any refunds or rescheduling of classes. I still wish I could get some sort of refund for this place. During admissions, I was told I would be placed in advanced classes because my work already proved I would be wasting my time in beginner classes. Of course when it came time to start, I was placed in beginner classes and they said they wouldn't change them. So I spent money without any ability to get a refund on classes for things I already knew. Half the time I spent teaching my fellow classmates better techniques than the instructors did. I've heard this place is getting shut down. Not the first rodeo the owner has been through like this though. Roger K is an educational crook and so is Deborah.

The kids were thoroughly entertained and the morning went by very quickly. They took a break for some snacks, giving their painting time to dry for the next addition of glitter, feathers and strips of felt. I was very impressed as the person in charge was quick to get their little hands washed up in between their creative outlet. Would take her back here for one of their monthly workshops in the future.

We visited Lune Spark for their Halloween Bash event this past weekend. My daughter and friends…read morereally enjoyed their time at the center. The staff was excellent here. They were very friendly and genuinely engaged with the children during this event. Camila and the gentlemen on staff running the event did a phenomenal job keeping the children busy and engaged. We stopped in for the special FX & prosthetic makeup workshop. Camila really worked hard to keep everyone focused on the tasks at hand and did an excellent job teaching such a large group. The costume contest was a good time as well. There were so many children in creative costumes that took home little trophies and prizes. My daughter thanked me for taking her and is excited to see what else the center has to offer as a young artist. This is a excellent place to invest in your child's talents and gifts. It's also the perfect space to allow them to spend less time off their digital devices & social media. They offer anime graphic arts, music, studio production, acting and more. We look forward to enrolling in the art & music classes here. This is a unique resource and space for young rising creatives. So glad to have stumbled across this center.

The staff said they rotate the art frequently, though most of the offerings appear to be more modern. We saw some cool little items but the large paintings on display didn't really do it for us on this visit. Still a cool place to look around in, though.
