You are directed to a wall of items you could paint, pointed to where the paint is, and left to your own devices. Thankfully I figured something out found me stride. The space can get busy and chaotic, but that is reasonable considering the smaller size of the building and number of children. 5/5 will definitely return!

We were given ample time and endless paint optins to choose from to create our masterpieces. All supplies were included. Left our pieces there to be run in the kiln. Cant wait to pick them up next week when theyll look all shiny and glazed. The music was upbeat. The door was left open to allow the crisp evening air to come through. Service was super friendly. Had a great time at Crock A Doodle once again!

They had a decent size playground and a bouncy castle, separate section for food and lounge which was super nice. Every guest was able to spread out. When you first walk into the place, you were greeted by a sign to take off all your shoes. On your right, there was the splatter room - more for big kids to express themselves if they didn't want to paint. In the left part of the shop was the pottery area. There were many different selections to choose from. The kids loved this but were discourage about their selections since they were only able to choose from the 1st shelf to the third. However, they still enjoyed it very much when they started painting. In the back of the place, they also sell espresso and coffee. Some of us were waiting for a bit and then gave up. There was only two people attending to everyone so it was okay. Do come here, you will definitely enjoy yourself! TIP: do not wear white anything. Don't even wear white socks! The teenagers had to take off their socks to go into the splatter room and end up stepping in paint. DO COME with the expectation to get dirty! ENJOY FELLOW YELPERS!

Pieces to choose from ranged depending on the size of the figurine. There were different animals including figurines, cups, plates, piggy banks and something similar to a jewelry/keepsake box to choose from. - Cow figurine: 15.00$ - Pig figurine: 15.00$ - Mermaid figurine: 26.00$ These prices included the use of their space, brushes and allowed us to choose what colours to use to paint our figurines. There was no time limit either, I think we stayed for about two hours. The girl working there let my niece play in the play area as a party had just left, which was really nice of her. Anyway, we paid and she informed us they would call to let us know when to pick up our pieces. Approximately one week. She called exactly a week later and we picked up our items. We felt the paint was a bit thin so I guess next time we have to do multiple layers to have a better end result. The only con is the parking is limited and cramped. There's more in the back of the building though. Besides that, I would recommend this place, it's great for parents to bring their kids. It's such a fun and relaxing environment, worth giving it a try.

The class environment is great and the instructors are amazing! Thomas who taught my first course is so much fun and he clearly loves what he does. It's a bright and open space with lots of light, they provide everything required during the course and can help you create something specific if you had that in mind while taking the class. They also run many classes for children and the place is usually brimming with kids and laughter. It truly has a very positive vibe. They have new instructors who have recently joined for pottery and they too are equally supportive and great to learn from.

Great 2 in 1 date night idea to spin your own pottery + paint your own pottery…read more Booked in advance to do their pottery class. It was with 6 of us to one instructor, which was the owner, Kent. I loved that Kent walked us through each step while demonstrating and doing the pottery with us. It really helped with this step by step instructions to understand and to make our own pieces. The pottery spinning was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again. We made 2 pieces each and were able to pick which pieces we wanted fired (could have both or just one). The great thing about this was that you can come back at another date to paint your pottery piece at an additional cost. The only odd experience throughout this entire activity was when we called in trying to see if we needed a reservation to come in the day before Valentine's day (Feb 13) to paint our pottery, and was asked to pay a fee to secure our spot. But then told us it's a walk in basis to paint any pottery (which is free without a fee). So of course we did not pay to secure a spot, since it seemed unnecessary. We just walked in and there were plenty of spots available for our painting. Overall, it was a great experience with the pottery spinning - lots of fun and a great activity to do with a partner.

When we went to pick up our pieces, we found out they had messed them up during the firing process. Disappointing, but mistakes can happen. What really bothered us was the way they handled it. The night before, I received a call saying we could come in for a refund. There was no mention of any conditions or exceptions. But when we got there, we were told they only give refunds for payments made by card--since we paid cash, we could only get store credit. That kind of last-minute surprise feels unfair and unprofessional. If we had been told that detail over the phone, we wouldn't have wasted our time going in expecting a refund. Instead, we were basically forced to accept store credit and now have to go back and spend more money just to make up for their mistake. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values honesty and accountability.

If they did not give us this flexibility we would have been very stressed and strapped for time. The venue space is beautiful with a nice decorative door and beautiful windows surrounding the space. The lighting in the space is optional; there is nice intimate industrial lighting over the bar (tons of our guests commented on the beautiful setup of the bar!) and also nice industrial lighting throughout the space. There is also the option of using the brighter lights that are throughout the venue. The sound system and drop down screens in the place are great as well and easy to set up. Overall, this is an amazing event space to have an intimate party (we ended having about 80 people sitting) and will probably be returning in the future! This isn't a professional school where respected people in the fields teach you so you can become artists. It's more like some skilled people give you knowledge on techniques to help you discover your new hobby. This isn't just school where they offer painting lessons but also available are photography, stage performance arts and so on and such. All instructors I've had are inspiring, caring and kind albeit their fake encouragements and rushed attitudes. They make sure everything is understood and help you develop artistic senses, and find areas where you can improve. What came off as disappointment is that they were not willing to engage in interesting discussions because they have to stick to schedule. Classes are very small but it is perfect for people who have school or work during daytime, and enrolment fees won't break the bank, so might as well take it lightly instead of a serious school where you learn to become artists. I took various painting and drawing classes and photography lessons, with which I am happy as I became knowledgable with those activities but there were some cancelled classes time to time. And sometimes classes are boring as not many people are enrolled and instructors would end early where he would not know what to do with remaining time.
