From the owner: Make, Shape, Stitch this Summer at +CREATE!…read more Join us from July through the end of August for a creative summer camp experience designed for curious makers ages 4–7, 8+, and 12+. At +CREATE, children explore clay, textiles, mixed media, and stop-motion animation in a welcoming, professional studio environment where creativity, confidence, and imagination come first. Our philosophy is simple: Small Groups, Big Imagination. With groups limited to approximately 10 participants, every camper receives individual guidance and the opportunity to work at their own pace while developing new skills and friendships. Choose from half-day or full-day camp options, with weekly programming that allows children to focus on clay, textiles, mixed media, or a combination of creative experiences. Campers staying for the full day enjoy a fully supervised lunch hour from 12:00–1:00 PM at our Cotton Factory studio. New for this season, we’re excited to expand our textile programming alongside our popular clay and mixed media studios. Youth ages 12 and up can also explore wheel throwing in our ceramic studio. Families receive 15% off additional registrations, whether enrolling siblings or booking multiple weeks of camp. Located in Hamilton’s historic Cotton Factory, +CREATE offers a supportive, inspiring, and affordable arts experience where children are encouraged to experiment, create, and discover. We look forward to welcoming your family this summer!

Besides the weekly camp, they also have daily rate options. They also offer early drop off and late pick up for additional price. My daughter turned 5 during the week attending class. The reception/teachers were so kind to buy her cupcakes to celebrate. The teachers also asked her friends to make her a wonderful birthday card. Besides art supplies, they also have a good selection of books for the kids. My daughter loves to read. She would read after class while waiting for us to pick her up. They also have outdoor playtime and yoga time offered for the kids to move around. The teachers and the receptionist were very warm and very attentive. My daughter had a wonderful time there and looks forward to go to class everyday. She is already asking us to to bring her back next summer. She can't wait to go back.

I will provide a couple of examples, one being around reservations and second around availability. First and foremost, this camp books up quickly and I typically register my child in February. I really appreciate the fact that they not only provided door to door transportation but the lunch meals as well. Make for a stress less day. Prior to start of camp, we had problems with our computer and for reasons not mentioned, limited access from work. As I couldn't complete the online form for the transportation, I called the camp office and the girl that I spoke with went above and beyond (she inputted the information provided to her via email) to help me get the forms in and transportation went off without a hitch. Another interaction occurred on August 8, when I called the camp office after hours to determine if there was any additional availability the month of August and had a return call by 9:30 a.m. on August 9th with the information. This has been one of my child's favorite camps and has a very positive experience with the camp and activities.
