I've been riding and volunteering at Rayne's Ridge for the past 4 years, and I can truly say this place is more than a ranch, to me it's home. Rayne's Ridge is family to me, and they're my everything and I am forever grateful.
What makes Rayne's Ridge so special isn't just the beautiful land but the way they treat their horses and other animals with love, patience, care and respect. All animals at the barn were rescued, and was given a second chance and she nurtured them back to health and they've honoured that promise every day since.
That kind of commitment is rare, and it shows the love in everything they do and making sure the animals live a happy, safe and loving life at the barn and they're unique stories on how they arrived at Rayne's Ridge.
The owner is deeply dedicated not just to the horses and other animals, but also to you as the rider. She focuses on building a real connection between horse and human. She teaches horsemanship, liberty, groundwork, and emphasizes the importance of pressure, weight, and release and many more outcomes in your riding skills. It's not just about sitting on a horse, it's about learning with the horse, understanding them, and ensuring the safety, trust of both you and the animal at all times.
What I love most is being able to meet new faces every time I come to the barn and see people light up around these incredible animals while having fun. There's nothing like seeing someone smile as they connect with a horse or other animals for the first time. That joy, that connection and this is why Rayne's Ridge feels like home.
If you're looking for a place where horses, and other animals, where you're truly seen and supported as a rider, and where you can grow in both skill and confidence, Rayne's Ridge is that place. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. read more
