We were also having them replace a skylight over our addition. The skylight had leaked off an on since it was installed 20 years ago. It had been looked at by several companies over the years and no one could provide a solution . The skylight replacement was a problem because they could not find a replacement to fit the measurements. The guys came out several times. A couple of days ago, Elmer came out and spent some time making noise on the roof. When he finished, he said that the skylight would not leak anymore and that there was NO CHARGE for all the work they had done. As it turns out, the skylight had been installed incorrectly which is why the measurements were off. Elmer took it apart, figured out the problem and reinstalled it the right way. I repeat, NO CHARGE, event though we agreed to pay over $1,000 for a new skylight. He said he wouldn't do a job that was not needed. Yesterday we had a torrential rain and there were no leaks! I asked Elmer if he was the boss and he answered modestly that he was a "team member." In fact, he is the owner of Egama. Egama is an excellent, reasonably priced roofing company. Most important it is run with honesty and integrity!

In deciding to explore the…read moreproblem I read peoples' reviews on Facebook and wrote down the names of over 10 roofers in the area. Then I narrowed my selections by checking their Yelp reviews. I called 5 of them and waited for responses. A manager at Golden Group was the first to respond. I made an appointment with him on the following Saturday and by then 3 others had responded and met me on that day. Long story short: I chose Golden Group and am still pleased I did. They finished the job in 2 days with a large, industrious crew who were incredibly hardworking and did a wonderful job cleaning up. They found the leakage problem under the old shingles on rotting planks of wood which they replaced before adding new shingles. It looks so much better and I would use Golden Group again!

The project ended up throwing us some curve balls and surprises, but at every step Joe explained exactly what he needed to do and accounted for every dollar. His crew was great and extremely careful, great work ethic, and great craftsmanship. We were also working with a tight timeline because of a graduation party at our house and the guys all made it happen on time. What a team! He had to hire some subs for parts of the project and the people he found were excellent in their workmanship and extremely kind guys. Joe became a grandfather while he was managing our project - and perhaps the best praise I can say is that he treated us like we were members of his family, that's how much he showed us he cared to do a great job and how he took care of us. (And those twin granddaughters are very lucky to have Joe for their Grandpa!). I would trust Joe and his team any day, and I recommend him 200%!

My needed work (new vinyl siding and windows) that UBrothers Construction did on my house was outstanding. For me to see the transformation was a very satisfying process. The workmanship was top quality. Andrii (Project Manager) who manages the project did an excellent job on the logistics of the project i.e. the ordering of the supplies, the scheduling, the personnel, the flow of the manpower needed on the job (also checking on the work and addressing any concerns). Their tradesmen are very professional and courteous, if you have an issue, they will look into fixing it. UBrothers finish products are quality craftmanship because I see the fitted joints are aligned up perfectly and straight. They understand the customers' needs and alleviate any pitfalls. They cleaned up at the end of every day on the job rather well. At the end of the job, all the utilities (mailbox hookup, doorbell, street address #, exterior wall lights, etc.) were re-established.
