I went in this morning to have my eyebrows threaded and get a Brazilian. The owner was by herself. She asked me to sit for the eyebrows first while the wax warmed up. I tell her I like arched eyebrows and wanted to keep my shape. I specifically tell her I do not want rounded eyebrows. Well, my left eyebrow was over threaded and is now round on the bottom. i guess I should've known when she did not bring me a mirror to look at them. I am going to have to fill it in so it matches with my right eyebrow. She then tells me to go to the private area so she can wax me. Hands me wipes so that I can freshen up. When she comes back in, she rushed through the waxing because people were coming in. At the end, she puts oil on me and says she's done and walks out. I get up, go grab another wipe and start cleaning the oil off. It is then that I realize she left entire patches of broken hair all over. No such thing as a smooth feeling anywhere. I am not coming back ever! I will have to go pay someone else $60 for a Brazilian that should've been done correctly in the first place. Save your money. read more

She likes to personalize the treatment plan based on your skin type and needs. However, you must keep up with the treatment to see results. 3 weeks time frame between each treatment! I get my eyebrows done here whenever I truly need a thorough threading session. I only trust poojah with my eyebrows and the highest quality of customer service- anyone else doesn't compare really. Also she does tinting Plus threading without an appointment and for the cheapest price I have found in woodbridge. I tell my friends about this place and they too have started going to this location. She wipes down every chair before and after ever client. Sterilizes her instruments. Keeps a clean workplace. Checks temperatures. The only thing I would recommend for this place is a use of gloves in between clients but then again she does sanitize her hands and her clients hands before beginning any service so- that's good enough for the reasonable prices and services. read more

Pooja is amazing she is the ONLY PERSON i would let do my eyebrows!!! Since the first time I've gone to her she has done beautiful work! I get the tint and threading and i always love them! The first time i went there i got another lady i explained what i wanted and she went to thin! I waited for my eyebrows to grow back which was horrible and decided to go back to the owner yes i was brave but i saw how many customers pooja had so i thought to myself she must be good! The salon was clean and that was the only good thing about my experience. The tail of my brows do NOT match at all. One is thick and the other is thin, short and pointy. One of my brows is curved and the other is arched. She did my eyebrows in 2 minutes. It was the most rushed job ever. My sister also got her brows done here and there is literally nothing left. It's a straight thin line. She's been crying since we got back. Pooja was the one that did our brows. I do not recommend this place at all. Please reconsider getting your brows done here. read more

Puja was amazing. I was excited to see a threading place open so close to my home. I'm even more thrilled now that I've been there. This has become my new spot but today the employee was abrasive and forceful. She was very rough with threading so much to while she was doing one brow, she was roughing up my other eye somethings serious. It was as if it was almost intentional. She asked if I wanted tint. I told her no. She then asked why. Completely off guard, I replied because I don't want it. She continued with my eyebrows are very weak. I did not respond. As she finished up and went to apply some foam, she looked at me again and asked if I wanted tint. I replied again no. She applied the foam with so much pressure to where I finally had to say, "Geez". Now I'm sitting here in my car and can see I'll have to clean up my brows when I get home. So that's annoying. I went to do a full face cleaning and the manager is super good but her assistant said she is busy so let her do the waxing and leave the eyebrow to poja. I trust her and my face was burning so bad during wax and she put white lotion so I can't see. After poja finished my eyebrows and done. In my car I realized my face is different so I looked closer and omg I saw 3 to 4 area of face the skin was peeled. I called and ask them to see me in my car. Poja gave me coconut oil and after crying, I just left. I will wait couple days if my skin get scars and changed skin color on those damaged area, I will talk to them again or I might take legal action too. This is above being unprofessionalism. They damaged my face and for a women their skin is big deal. I don't know how they can make me happy but I m really mad. I dont think so if she is certified to touch customers skin and the only good person is Poja. Don't trust anyone in that salon but poja please. I m very hurt. read more

I would not recommend this place for eye brow threading what so ever! I came in around March and got my eyebrows done by Pooja I believe and she unevenly cut all my brow hairs off plus she some how gave me a bump on my eye brow tail. I went in today for my first time to this establishment, because of reviews. I have had my eyebrows threaded before. I specifically said "do not thin my brows"and she replied "no, I will just clean it up". She thinned them so much I cannot believe how they look! They are almost gone now! I had such nicely shaped brows before and now they are thin and short. Plus, she cut them!! When I went home I had cut hair and full brow hairs all over my face from where she had plucked them out. The Art of Threading is a full service salon that offers threading, waxing, henna, facials, makeup application and hair styling. Since moving to Woodbridge I have been on the hunt - going from salon to salon trying to find somewhere that's close to home. The salon is very clean and bright. I can not understand how threading places can operate in dim lighting. The prices are reasonably priced for the services offered. Zero stars if I could. I got eyebrows done here and I wish I hadn't. I started to tell the lady what shape I wanted and she cut me off and just started threading. Every stroke hurt so much. Honestly, I am really upset. When I first went here Pooja was nice and great customer service. The second time I went, she thinned my eyebrows. It took me 4 months to get back into the shape I wanted. I am upset that she didn't even ask me how I wanted it. I also got a haircut and I only asked for a trim. It was more than a trim.
