I went in this morning to have my eyebrows threaded and get a Brazilian. The owner was by herself. She asked me to sit for the eyebrows first while the wax warmed up. I tell her I like arched eyebrows and wanted to keep my shape. I specifically tell her I do not want rounded eyebrows. Well, my left eyebrow was over threaded and is now round on the bottom. i guess I should've known when she did not bring me a mirror to look at them. I am going to have to fill it in so it matches with my right eyebrow. She then tells me to go to the private area so she can wax me. Hands me wipes so that I can freshen up. When she comes back in, she rushed through the waxing because people were coming in. At the end, she puts oil on me and says she's done and walks out. I get up, go grab another wipe and start cleaning the oil off. It is then that I realize she left entire patches of broken hair all over. No such thing as a smooth feeling anywhere. I am not coming back ever! I will have to go pay someone else $60 for a Brazilian that should've been done correctly in the first place. Save your money. read more

Art of Threading - Over-threaded eyebrow by Poojah. It is so bad! - Threading Services Near Me - Woodbridge, Virginia

As you can see, they did a horrible job doing my eyebrows and a simple 1 inch trim. I didn't react to the mistake. I simply waited till the checkout to ask for a discount because I didn't like the way they left it and instead of taking accountability for the lack of good service they started arguing with me trying to convince me that this is how it's supposed to look even though I've been getting my haircut and eyebrows done for 10+ years. And then after all that she charged me more and only took 2$ off read more

Owner Poosha is rude & condescending, acting annoyed as if she isn't being paid to provide service

horrible i been going to them for a few months now but today i try there new person they made my eyebrows uneven and mess them up mind you my eyebrows are pretty even and i never had a problem with them being uneven wouldnt recommend here! read more

Omg! Idk where to begin! Pooja is the best. She saved my horrible acne skin due to a hormonal condition. I have done so far 5 facials. She likes to personalize the treatment plan based on your skin type and needs. However, you must keep up with the treatment to see results. 3 weeks time frame between each treatment! Coming from an Indian/herbal perspective, she will recommend stuff to you as an aesthetician does. Her services are: Eye brow waxing and tinting Body Waxing Facials Makeup/Full face services Henna design Haircut/Styling/Updos She's been doing this for my family and friends for years now. I was a skeptic too and she was fully aware of it. But man, did she change my opinion. So as customer and someone from the south Asian community, a big recommendation!!!!! read more

I absolutely love their eyebrow threading & tinting! I had 4" cut off my brunette hair just now and the cut is perfect for my face and the care with the style was so helpful. I'll be back soon for my next threading & tinting! read more

So glad I tried this eyebrow place. Pooja, the owner did a great job on my eyebrows, which hadn't been threaded since the pandemic. I love the shape and this will be my new eyebrow spot. Also, you can't beat the price. read more

I came here for eyebrow threading. Place was very clean, and not too busy for a saturday morning. Very reasonably priced, and she even offered some eyebrow care tips that ive never heard before! Ill definitely come back. read more

I get my eyebrows done here whenever I truly need a thorough threading session. I only trust poojah with my eyebrows and the highest quality of customer service- anyone else doesn't compare really. Also she does tinting Plus threading without an appointment and for the cheapest price I have found in woodbridge. I tell my friends about this place and they too have started going to this location. She wipes down every chair before and after ever client. Sterilizes her instruments. Keeps a clean workplace. Checks temperatures. The only thing I would recommend for this place is a use of gloves in between clients but then again she does sanitize her hands and her clients hands before beginning any service so- that's good enough for the reasonable prices and services. read more

Great as always you rescued me! Walk in was possible for wash, cut and dry! very clean and following CDC guidelines beyond most. Always laughing and kind! Thanks Pooja ! See you next time! read more

Pooja is amazing she is the ONLY PERSON i would let do my eyebrows!!! Since the first time I've gone to her she has done beautiful work! I get the tint and threading and i always love them! The first time i went there i got another lady i explained what i wanted and she went to thin! I waited for my eyebrows to grow back which was horrible and decided to go back to the owner yes i was brave but i saw how many customers pooja had so i thought to myself she must be good! Since that second time i have not regret it! I told pooja NOT THIN just clean up and that is what i get all the time!!! She has done my makeup too and also fabulous! I would definitely recommend read more

The salon was clean and that was the only good thing about my experience. The tail of my brows do NOT match at all. One is thick and the other is thin, short and pointy. One of my brows is curved and the other is arched. She did my eyebrows in 2 minutes. It was the most rushed job ever. My sister also got her brows done here and there is literally nothing left. It's a straight thin line. She's been crying since we got back. Pooja was the one that did our brows. I do not recommend this place at all. Please reconsider getting your brows done here. read more

This is my go to place for any beauty related service. Art of threading is a rare gem ! Pooja is simply amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. For starters - the salon is exceptionally neat and clean and well maintained. She listens to your needs patiently, makes apt suggestions and is flexible with appointment times. She has always been patient, courteous and pleasant. I have had my hair cut, colored and blow dried and have walked out feeling absolutely happy and confident. In addition to hair services, I have had facials and threading done. Perfect every single time ! I love this place so much that I dont mind travelling all the way from Chantilly!! read more

Puja was amazing. I was excited to see a threading place open so close to my home. I'm even more thrilled now that I've been there. The prices are incredibly reasonable and Puja was so genuine and welcoming. Additionally, she paid incredible attention to detail. This is by far the best threading place I've been to in Virginia - perhaps anywhere (and that includes NYC and LA). I'll probably try a facial next time as well. read more

**ATTENTION LADIES** This place is amazing!! To start with, the facility is really clean and beautiful inside. The owner of this threading salon is very sweet and cares about her customers. Every visit she takes her time and treats me as if I'm only customer in her shop. My brows were thin and I was starting to feel as if there was no hope for them, then I met the fairy god mother of the brow game and my life has been changed for better. read more

This is my go to places for a monthly facial and to get my brows threaded at an affordable rate. Pooja leaves my face glowing and my brows done perfectly for my face shape. She takes walk-in but for facials prefers you make an appointment. She's very friendly and works very hard. read more

My absolute favorite place to come when I need anything done for myself. Eyebrows, waxing, facials! Pooja is literally the best ever and the most sweetest person, and makes your eyebrows FIRE. Cheap prices and super clean salon as well!! 10/10 read more

I've come here multiple times to get my eyebrows done but i went there for the first time Today for Brazilian Wax and Ms. Puja was so kind. Even though the close at 7 she said i could come and she served me. You can tell she loves what she does. I'll continue coming to this place! read more

I would not recommend this place for eye brow threading what so ever! I came in around March and got my eyebrows done by Pooja I believe and she unevenly cut all my brow hairs off plus she some how gave me a bump on my eye brow tail. I never get any type of adverse reaction of just "threading or cutting" eyebrow hair! Never again will I go here! read more

This has become my new spot but today the employee was abrasive and forceful. She was very rough with threading so much to while she was doing one brow, she was roughing up my other eye somethings serious. It was as if it was almost intentional. She asked if I wanted tint. I told her no. She then asked why. Completely off guard, I replied because I don't want it. She continued with my eyebrows are very weak. I did not respond. As she finished up and went to apply some foam, she looked at me again and asked if I wanted tint. I replied again no. She applied the foam with so much pressure to where I finally had to say, "Geez". Now I'm sitting here in my car and can see I'll have to clean up my brows when I get home. So that's annoying. I normally have great service here but I may have to find another place. read more

I went to do a full face cleaning and the manager is super good but her assistant said she is busy so let her do the waxing and leave the eyebrow to poja. I trust her and my face was burning so bad during wax and she put white lotion so I can't see. After poja finished my eyebrows and done. In my car I realized my face is different so I looked closer and omg I saw 3 to 4 area of face the skin was peeled. I called and ask them to see me in my car. Poja gave me coconut oil and after crying, I just left. I will wait couple days if my skin get scars and changed skin color on those damaged area, I will talk to them again or I might take legal action too. This is above being unprofessionalism. They damaged my face and for a women their skin is big deal. I don't know how they can make me happy but I m really mad. I dont think so if she is certified to touch customers skin and the only good person is Poja. Don't trust anyone in that salon but poja please. I m very hurt. read more

I went in today for my first time to this establishment, because of reviews. I have had my eyebrows threaded before. I specifically said "do not thin my brows"and she replied "no, I will just clean it up". She thinned them so much I cannot believe how they look! They are almost gone now! I had such nicely shaped brows before and now they are thin and short. Plus, she cut them!! When I went home I had cut hair and full brow hairs all over my face from where she had plucked them out. I am so angry and upset. I'm afraid they won't grow back out the way they were!! What was she thinking?? read more

Hands down one of the best brow places I've been to. Pooja, the owner, is very informative and helpful. It is only $8 for eyebrow threading, which I must say is such a great deal. I will definitely be returning for regular visits! read more

The Art of Threading is a full service salon that offers threading, waxing, henna, facials, makeup application and hair styling. Since moving to Woodbridge I have been on the hunt - going from salon to salon trying to find somewhere that's close to home. The salon is very clean and bright. I can not understand how threading places can operate in dim lighting. The prices are reasonably priced for the services offered. Pooja is AMAZING and knows her craft - she's knowledgable and aware if your skin is sensitivite to threading and I can tell she sincerely cares about the health of your skin. Trust me you won't be disappointed. read more

Zero stars if I could. I got eyebrows done here and I wish I hadn't. I started to tell the lady what shape I wanted and she cut me off and just started threading. Every stroke hurt so much. My eyebrows are swollen and sore. She was extremely rough. She also left in the middle of doing my brows for 5 minutes without saying anything. Terrible service and work. I didn't catch her name but it wasn't Pooja or an older lady. read more

Honestly, I am really upset. When I first went here Pooja was nice and great customer service. The second time I went, she thinned my eyebrows. It took me 4 months to get back into the shape I wanted. I am upset that she didn't even ask me how I wanted it. I also got a haircut and I only asked for a trim. It was more than a trim. My long beautiful hair is now short :( I really want to cry as I write this review. Your eyebrows either make you or break you. Be careful who you go to. read more

I love this place! I've came since she opened and she's so sweet and caring of her costumers! She does amazing on my brows and facials!

Great job I love this place and the wax is great and my eye brows are so beautiful and I love the prices

This place is so nice and neat inside! I think the lady that took care of my sister and I was the owner. She was awesome! I've been to other threading places where they don't even try to be friendly and slap some generic eye brow arch on your face which we all know that certain brows match certain faces. Pooja took a look at both of our faces before she started. My sister and I love how sweet she was while being efficient. I will definitely be coming back here! read more
