The events I attended were at a Country Club, however she travels wherever you may need her: work event, bridal shower/bachelorette party, girls night and even kids events! Long story short, I have some small crafting background, but nothing compares to how well Nicole can paint. She grew up around art and it is so evident that she is passionate about art itself and teaching others too. Every event we start off the first few steps of painting and I lose hope for my picture turning out as it should, but in the end I LOVE the final results. This event was a HUGE disappointment! A "artist" was supposed to instruct us on how to paint a…read morepredetermined picture. There was NO instruction at all. The artist wasn't happy with the painting she was supposed to be doing with us. She mentioned several times, it "wasn't her style". Her accent and soft spoken voice left many of us at a loss, as well. To begin the artwork, we were told to take a piece of paper towel and dip it in black paint. Then, smear our entire canvas with the black paint. What?? Are you kidding me? That is hardly painting! Not to mention our entire group of 18 adults had hands covered in black paint. What a mess! Plus, this was not a cheap event! It was supposed to be from 7-9 PM. Most of us were finished by 8:15. The following day a survey was sent to me by Paint The Town, as I was the organizer of the event. I was brutally honest, as I am now. They have yet to write me back, which upsets me greatly.

It was my first time in an attempt to paint anything. I was quite nervous before arriving, as one…read morenormally is. Dianett was very sweet & patient. She instructed me in brush techniques, did hands on for light strokes, explained about blending the colors & make suggest for my first selection of picture. This was such a relaxing & learning experience. I'm so happy I took a step out of my comfort zone & completed the class. This is definitely a new adventure that I will pursue.
