Very nice and chill atmosphere. They have a huge selection of items with various price ranges to suit anyone's budget. The employees are kind and passionate about their work. There was a little issue getting our items after having waited almost two weeks when we were expecting a call informing us they're ready. We never got the call and actually had to reach out ourselves to see if we can pick up our pieces. They were kind and professional over the phone and apologized that they didn't call a second time (although we never got the first call). They have lots of glazes to pick from too and you can pay extra for premium glazes. Snacks and drinks are also available for sale. I want to try one of their ladies nights here as it looks fun to do with friends. You do have to pay $5 extra to finish your piece if it can't be done in one day... I didn't really understand that as if you come towards the end of the day as a newbie, you wouldn't know that rule. So if you don't want a return fee, come when they open and bring your own snacks and drinks! read more

Such an amazing experience! No time limit, endless colors and options to choose from. A little pricey for small items but I'm assuming they have to include supply cost somewhere. My only complaint is that my product before leaving was perfect! But when being handled must've bumped into someone else's art work that was still wet and now my glazed project has a black mark. Such a fun place! Came here with my sister for a Greyhound fundraiser. We had a great time. Haven't painted ceramics in over 20 years but all the fun memories came rushing back. They require masks inside & there are craft tables set up in several different rooms so it was easy to socially distance. It was a peaceful experience for my husband and I. Whenever I lose a pet, I go and create memories by painting, a plate, or a bowl or something that has the pets name on it, will be used regularly in the home. We both made beautiful bowls that are now used at our dinner table. The only thing I would suggest is upgrading the paint brushes. Everything else was perfect and even so the brushes were adequate. I just couldn't get a fine line. I will definitely go back there again. read more

Bored of dinner and happy hours I was looking for something to do with my girlfriends. Facebook heard my cry as an ad popped up for Friends' Night Out at Picasso's. We had such a great time picking out different pieces to paint. I was impressed with the options and large selection of items one could choose. I hadn't done ceramics since I was a kid and don't know why I waited so long. The staff was extremely helpful with ideas how to personalize the items and one even helped me write on mine as my handwriting is not the best. I loved my finished product and the memory of making it with my friends. The night even included a filling dinner and desserts. What I loved best was that it was a family owned business and everyone had a role in the evening. The staff was extremely patient and kind and I will be back! Great change from the norm! read more

My friends and I had the most amazing time here. The pottery selection is great and the techniques & color options are endless. The best part of this wonderful place is the customer service. Everyone that helped us was sooo nice and the vibe was easy and relaxed. We had an especially wonderful encounter with Arianna, who is the kindest, most accommodating and just all around lovely person. Arianna went above and beyond to help us with our pieces and make sure that we knew how to finish everything. Chris was also very sweet, attentive and helpful. Joyce is great too, so nice and got our invoices setup beforehand so the checkout process was easier. You can tell that there are certain customers who are regulars because the workshop and people are just so awesome. My friends and I are already talking about going there again. I've been eyeing this place for a while and I was able to make it in last night for ladies night. Two of my fellow Yelp friends joined me to sip, savor, and create. We were able to bring our own wine or beverage of choice. There's a cover charge of $7, which includes food, soda, and dessert. The menu was salad, chicken wings, and ziti brought in by NYPD Pizza. They had red velvet cake and key lime pie for dessert. There are a bunch of pottery pieces to choose from and the prices range from $15 and up. Once you pick out your piece, you can choose what paints you want and a staff member will pour it into your tray for you. The possibilities are endless. You could walk out of there with a pretty impressive piece made all by yourself. All of us enjoyed each other company while we sipped, ate, and created some impressive artwork. The staff members were very helpful and didn't rush us out of there. It's great for anybody who's interested in getting their paint on. We went for ladies night and was not impressed. We had a good time, but the experience was not worth the money. The description for the ladies night was deceiving, there was supposed to be fun, raffles and a ladies night. There was no raffle, no instruction, and no interaction. Essentially we paid $8 for an ok dinner... Also the pottery is quite pricey. One plate is $25... well it was $20 until she cashed me out, and conveniently forgot the price and couldn't find another of the same design. I think it would be better to go to painting with a twist. read more

Thanks to Patty W. for organizing such a great friday night UYE. I'm sure by now everyone has done one of those paint BYOB spots where you get together with friends, paint a picture on canvas and get a little tipsy while doing so.... but have you done it over ceramics? I haven't painted any ceramics since the 5th grade, so I was excited for the opportunity to do so again. Patty W. set up the UYE on a ladies night, so for $7 you got dinner and desserts catered by a nearby Italian spot, and then paid for whatever ceramic piece of your choosing. Prices seemed to mostly hover around $20 for average size pieces. In the end I selected a vase (no easy task as I wanted to paint everything!) and headed over to the colors. Staff explained that you could pick up to 6 colors, but recommended starting with your main 3 first as to not let the paints dry out. Turns out Patty W. had selected some colors I wanted too, so we ended up sharing. Tables were already set up with sponges, paint brushes and water, so it was easy to get started. The staff explained that 3 heavy coats of paint was the best way to go, but honestly I'm not sure some of my spots got that much paint lol, so fingers crossed when I see the final work! The did also offer stamps, and paint pens for those looking to get tight details or pre-made designs. Time flew by after eating, painting, drinking wine and lots of talking! There were also two raffles for additional pieces to paint. Of course I won nothing lol...so I'll just have to come back another time to get my ceramics fix lol. Towards the end we were encouraged to pay. Those who still had wet pieces were dried with a hair dryer. One week later you'll be able to pick up your finished piece as the staff handled the glaze step and the kiln. I must comment that I did feel as though the staff could have been a little more helpful. It was ladies night, so it was very busy, but a lot of the time I found myself asking other patrons what to do etc. and couldn't find a staff member for instructions. Overall though, it was a great night and a fun deviation from a normal Friday night :) read more

It was fun, we had a good time. My only complaint was not being explained fully on how everything works. It's a little pricey to come in but I understand the price when you consider the cost of the piece, the paint & then the piece being fired. We over heard other customers being told to do 3 coats, being told about paint put in different bottles with fine tips to write words and something else to add for extra detail. Then we also over heard to wipe the pieces with water prior to painting to prep them. We were nearing finishing our pieces by the time we heard this information so considering the cost with coming in and wanting to actually have a nicely finished piece, it was a little dissatisfying not being told the full details on how everything works when we first arrived. We told the girls working that it was our first time there and asked how it works and we're basically told to pick out piece & write down any colors we'd like of paint, pick a table and that's that. We'll be back again since my boys enjoyed it and we know now what needs to be known but I feel that information should be known by all customers. I tried adding extra coats where I could once I over heard that and you can clearly see the difference and why additional coats "are" recommended. read more

I have done several projects so far since the shut down one in particular was with my mom on Skype who I am unable to be with. in the last few weeks it has been so great dealing with them-they have been so warm and friendly and so helpful. They make sure to send all the colors supplies and needed tools for your projects ( and if you forget to click something check something they called to confirm and verify). This has been a lil ray of sunshine in the dark for us! I love to paint pottery. I went in and it was the normal set up of choose a piece choose your colors. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is that you cannot choose more than 3 colors at a time. The other thing is I constantly had to keep going back and forth for more of the colors because I wasn't given very much in the first place. My last lil issue is the process to get your art back. It takes a full week. I understand it may be more depending on when they fire the pottery but I feel that's a lil long... But all in all the employees were very nice and helpful. I love being crafty, so I was very excited when Patty W planned a UYE here. Friday nights are ladies nights. There's a $7 cover charge, which includes dinner, and it's BYOB! We arrived around 7. For ladies night you call ahead and sign up, so when you arrive you sign in and get a number (for raffles!). I was please/overwhelmed to find just how many choices there were to paint. They have everything from figurines under $20 to large platter and bowls for $50, there's definitely something to fit all creative aspirations and budgets. I chose a smaller platter that was somewhere around $20. After picking the piece you want to paint you pick out your colors. The paint colors are all displayed on the wall in the back and have a coordinating number. The staff provides you with the colors you pick. They recommend you start with 3 as they can dry up as you work, but if you have a larger piece where you are doing one main color definitely get at least two palettes of that color to start...I didn't and I got up a lot in the first twenty minutes for more paint. Tables are set up with brushes and sponges and water for rinsing...just be careful not to dip your paint brush in your wine cup :-). Time flew by as we painted, and by around 9 they encouraged us to start making our way up to the register to pay so there wouldn't be a mad rush at the 10pm closing time. You could still continue to paint if you weren't finished even if you paid. As you pay they inform you of the pickup availability. Sadly, you have to wait about a week before you can see your masterpiece in finished form as the kiln process takes awhile, but the finished glossy pottery pieces displayed looked great and I can't wait to see mine! I wouldn't hesitate to come back at all. I enjoyed ladies night a lot, but it was a little bit of a cluster in the beginning. It seemed some people had been before and knew exactly what to do, while others were a little confused. The staff was very friendly, but organization was a little bit lacking, but that improved as the night went on. When all was said and done I had dinner and an activity for about $30 ($40 if you count the wine I brought) so this is a great Friday night option that won't leave you broke on Saturday morning. read more

This is truly a gem for little and big Picassos in Lake Worth. You can pick your own bare pottery (ranging from plates / bowls to seasonal items). Brian and staff (I have to mention Nicole and Meika) have created a wonderful atmosphere where you can paint and take your time to finish your product. You can return to finish as often as you wish / need to create that perfect piece of art. Staff is eager to provide ideas and techniques (don't be afraid to ask). What I like is that you can print your kids hands / feet and incorporate them in designs to decorate your pottery. Great gifts and worthwhile keepsakes that will last forever and with the Holidays coming up a wonderful personal gift option.
