They are very dishonest when it comes to pricing and here is the reason why. I am a loyal customer and I have been coming here for quite awhile for my nails. I also introduced this place to some of my friends... Sometimes, I want to give my nails a break so I'll go to the nail shop to take off my gel nails. One day, I went there and told them that i'd like to take off my nails. one of the associates said "you do not want to do anything else? Nothing at all?" And I said "nope! I'd like to take off my gel nails, please." they looked at me with a weird look and asked me to take a seat. Once they were done, they charged me a ridiculous price just for that.... and the reason was "oh, we helped you file your nails too. " Wth? Really? Aren't you supposed to do this step too? I was told that they are very dishonest when it comes to pricing....and I didn't believe it at first. Now I experienced it, and id never go back again. I've been wanting to get my nails done for a while now to the point where I basically have an entire album of nail designs on my phone that i want to get lol I called the day before New Year's Eve (I'm a New Year's Eve baby and wanted to get them done for my birthday and a Disneyland trip) to see if I could come in to get my nails done. I've been to Art Nail twice and I would say I'm a fan for their extremely friendly service and good care. Though they're not as perfect in their finish as the Korean nail places I go to, they're still way better than anything I could ever do. And for the price (which is 2 or 3 times cheaper than Korean nail salons) Art Nail is great. On my most recent trip to get a simple pedicure done I also took my mom with me to get her first ever manicure. She was nervous going in but left with a smile on her face. The lady who did my mom's nails was so friendly and kept a conversation with my mom throughout the entire process. While I got a pedicure done I occasionally peaked over at my mom and every time I glanced over I saw her laughing and having a good time. Love their service! Stopped by today because I needed a fill and it was around the area so I thought why not. Very convenient! It was pretty empty when I walked in since they had just opened. One of the manicurist named Allen I believe made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked in the door! Which was a major plus! Asked me what I came in for right away helped me and sat me down. He was very polite, attentive and made me feel very welcome! He helped me get my fill and fix the crappy job my previous nail salon had made. He also offered a cold water, which was very nice, kept a conversation which wasn't awkward, and made sure I was satisfied with my nails. The best part is that they are more attentive to the customer than trying to talk to the rest of the manicurist (in their own language) because I know many of us have been to those places where they do that often and it's very rude!!!! Went in for a gel pedicure today and asked how much it was and they said that t was 30.I asked the manager if I could do French and I got the deluxe pedicure package .When I told the manager he just said it was fine but didn't fells me how much more extra it was going to be . Such a good first time experience here! from the moment I walked in the lady who helped me was extremely nice and welcoming. They took time on my nails and it came out perfectly. I had gel with an ombre design and it came out really nice, I loved it! I didn't feel pressured to add more things to what I originally wanted. I felt that the people who worked there were actually genuine. I guess I've had some bad experiences from other nail salons and had issues with the workers being rude, not this place. The store itself is clean and prices are decent. Coming back to this place for sure. read more

Okay first off. My nails just look terrible. It looks like a 5 year old did them. I've done my own SNS before and it looked better than this. I decided to go back the next day to have them fix my broken nail and so what happened was he filed them all down and did two more coats of the dipping powder (I complained they were too thin) then reshaped them because I asked him to (I had originally asked for them to be rounded and he made them squared) then he just put on a top coat and walked away. He rushed the whole process and was super super unfriendly and didn't even stop to ask if I was happy with my nails now. Terrible customer service. And during the filing down 3 of my fingers started bleeding because he wasn't even trying to be careful and he didn't even acknowledge that they were bleeding. He should have said sorry and been more careful after the first one bled. I don't know but I feel like you should never leave a nail salon with your fingers bleeding? Also he did it so thick and just plain sloppy at my cuticles that it was on my skin so now it's been 10 days and all of them are lifting and I literally have to go pay another $40 at a different salon 10 days later when they're supposed to last 3-4 weeks. This is hands down the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I am so mad that I wasted my time, gas, and money to go here, twice. I will never return and I really advice anyone who wants nice SNS nails to go literally anywhere but here. I would give this place negative stars if I could. read more

I've been going to this place for about 5 years, when it used to be owned by an older lady. Now the new owner is nice and friendly. She and her brother always do very good job with my nails. They always make sure that you leave the place happy with the work, and they care a lot for the healthiness of your nails. For example, I know a place that would just soak your hands for good twenty minutes in nail removal solution to get the old gel off (it could ruin your hands and nails!) But here instead, they individually wrap your nails with foil and acetone-soaked cotton balls - way better for your hands and nails. The place is clean and well maintained. I just wish they get more customers to keep the business open. read more

BEWARE!!!! OMG! I wish I didn't have to put a 1 star. We have a wedding this weekend, so we decided to get our nails done. I clearly told them to just add "1" flower on each toe for my 7 year old. They took it upon themselves to put flowers on all her toes and nails. Since I was also getting my pedi, I didn't notice until we were done. They charged me $100 for me and my 7 year old daughter. don't speak when you walk in AT ALL and then when you finally speak first they pretend to be surprised that you're there. they rush like crazy. make you feel pressured to quickly pick things out. don't make pay attention to the details (putting polish at the sides of the nails, etc) I've been here before and wasn't a fan and decided to give it another try 2 years later and will never be back. maybe it was just the person I had (male nail tech) but I would not recommend this place. read more

Tried this place because I had time to kill between appointments. They did get me right in as a walk in. I already have acrylic nails so I just needed a fill. I think the technician got more acrylic and polish on my skin then she did my nails. She then tried to file it off after she was done which made my skin dry and hurt. It was my first time coming to this nail place yesterday and I absolutely LOVE how my simple French with silver lining pedicure came out. My friend also got a manicure full set with a bunch of designs but they still pulled It off 100% perfectly. The ladies were really nice and worked really fast. My French manicure looked really good when I walked out of the store but I look at it a couple of hours later and some of my nails are filled with air bubbles!!!!! I'm pretty disappointed.
