I am very disappointed about my nail service. After two days, I've become more and more disappointed with what they put on my nails. My daughter and I walked in for two gel manicures. We paid 30 each, and our results were very different. While my daughter's nails came out well (a few places on her nails were uneven with visible bumps), my own nails came out looking more like a used candle, waxy and matte. Not only do my nails not look anything like the example I chose, the consistency on my fingers are all different, with brushstrokes visible, unfilled sides, and holes. If you're looking for a conversation and a spot to relax, I recommend this place even less. None of the staff spoke to me or my daughter during our session. The worst place to ask for an appoint especially with Helen. She cancelled an appointment last minute that was close by Christmas without informing she's going on vacation. Then, 4 days ago I made a 10 am appointment with Helen, On my day of appointment, 30 minutes before , someone from the shop called and said to come in 10:30 coz Helen was running late from home. I got there 10:25, and Helen was doing somebody. How rude and unprofessional. They could have informed the lady that they were doing an emergency case coz she is traveling. I had the best experience at this salon. I am visiting from Colorado and had been thinking of getting a full earlier in the day. I passed by this place and thought I'd give it a whirl after seeing their prices. Man am I glad that I did! I got a toe polish change and an acrylic fill with gel nail polish. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the woman who did the polish change, but she was swift yet precise with her work. I'm picky about my toes since I usually do a good job painting them myself. She made sure to get all the corners of my nails (for some reason this has been a reoccurring issue at other places) and even though it was just a polish change, made sure my nails had some shape to them and weren't pure ratchetness. Ruby did my fill and she did an out of this world AMAZING job. I had never gotten gel before and she convinced me after I had accidentally chosen a gel chrome color that wasn't available in normal polish. She found a gel color with a similar shimmer feel, but didn't cost as much as the chrome (I had originally gone in for regular polish). This was how I knew she cared about the service rather than racking up a bunch of additional cost. Ruby made me feel welcomed, calm about my nail choices (anyone else get overwhelmed by what to get? ), and paid careful detail to my nails. She got my cuticles (nearly ever place I've ever been to misses this too!), got the crud out from underneath my nails, and overall, did a killer job. I went to the nail salon as a walk in on Wednesday and by Sunday my gel manicure is Already chipping! they were not busy. They had 2 nail tech that did not have clients. I asked for a dip manicure. And the tech responded: "why dip, u can do gel." UM okay, not what I am requesting but whatever. She went on to explain that her gel polish was strong like the dip so it's better. So she did whatever she wanted to do, I also asked for an extension on one of my nails because it broke and was shorter than the rest of my nails and she also said no to that as well. She explained that when that are all done u can't really tell the difference. But when it was done, I was able to tell the difference. Now that was the second time I requested something and I was declined of the service and on top of that what ever the tec did recommend didn't even last a week!! I have to first say that everyone in this shop is very nice , friendly & super accommodating. They try their best to fit you in right away. Furthermore, I love how a couple of the nail artists (at request) perfectly shape my coffin nails! They're beautifully done. . But unfortunately, I have had at least two broken nails in the first week of having my gel-acrylics done! For the last four weeks This has been happening since I've been coming here. It just sucks.. This is my first time coming to this salon. I needed my nails done for graduation. I wanted a white tip set (French tip with acrylics) which was 21 bucks. My nail artist was Trang. She was a sweetheart and did my nails the way I wanted them. The gel is not too think and the shape is squared but rounded on the edges. I love my nails. Just tell her what you want and she will do it; no afraid to be hesitant! My only complaint is that she is really tough and forceful when using her tools. The nail filler and whatnot ... I can't speak for any other nail techs other than Ruby. Ruby's attention to detail is amazing and she is very friendly! The other nail techs seem really good as well though. I love natural looking nails and they offer dip powder, gel X and hard gel for manicures. Their color selection is huge as well. The salon is relaxing/quiet, clean, and the have a big TV playing the news which is really nice when you're sitting there for an hour. Tip: they don't take card so bring cash! There's a Wells Fargo and Chase in the plaza. They do take walk-ins but I would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. read more

The shape was not consistent throughout: my nails are missing acrylic on the sides. What bothers me the most is that she didn't double or triple check her work. She allowed me to walk out like that. I didn't appreciate that at all. Ivy was the gal who saw me. I did call right after while driving and the gentleman that was there did say it was ok for me to return for her to fix them. My younger sister & I had a really bad experience here. She was waiting to get her acrylics done for 45 mins, when we ALREADY HAD an appointment. Finally someone started helping her, but all they did was take off her old nail polish and then the woman left to help another customer. My sister waited for another 15 mins when another young girl and her mom came in with NO appointment also wanting acrylics, and a different woman came out from the back to help her right away.... We were there for an hour and she got NO service other than taking off her polish; no nail filing, no nail cutting, no acrylic. This is unacceptable and unfair. I asked multiple times if/when she was going to get helped and no one ever did. It also just so happened that we were the non-asian customers in the store.... Honestly this place is the worst. I sat on the chair two hours and all they could finish was a pedicure. I went in for a gel mani & pedi. I had to be somewhere so I just left, but when I got in my car I checked my toenails and the polish was all messed up. When you get gel polish it should obviously be dry. I called later on in the day so they can fix my nails. I had to go back and just for them to be furious about it. I knew they were talking about me but I didn't care. I paid $74 + $20 dollar tip. Well.... So I made an appointment over phone with a lady who was super grouchy as if she's having a bad day. I simply asked if it's ok for me to text a photo of what I would like to get done and she sounded like she did not care by saying " how am I supposed to know" but I decided to go in anyway considering past experiences were good. The next day when I walked in there were only three nail technicians working that day and two were busy so one of the lady ( with longhair and rectangle framed glasses) sat me down, after hearing her talk I immediately know that she was the lady whom I spoke on the phone day before. So I sat down and showed her what I wanted to get done (cow print) and she was confident that she can do them. It wasn't until she started filing my nails that she was extremely violent with my hand, I literally had to stop her three times cuz she was hurting me, and she was said sorry in extremely angry way as if it was my fault. after one hour and thirty minutes she finally got to working on the designs that i wanted (cow print nails) she started off trying to use a printed pattern which she was not familiar with (she took 20mins trying to figure out). after she used to pattern on my nails, I told her it does not look like what I want so she said she'll try to draw the prints. after she tried to draw the prints I told her it kinda does not look like what I want. She got sooo fed up and said "I don't know then, I cannot do, I don't know what you want me to do" so I nicely asked if another technician (Bella) with more experience can do for me, without asking Bella she immediately turned me down saying only herself can do it (like seriously??) and she kept saying "I already tried, what do you want me to do? Can you come back tomorrow or another day?" When I told her I work 5 days a week. until the owner who was extremely kind had to come in and solve the issue. I had Bella completed the design, whom I could tell is more professional and patient. she was extremely careful with each design and always ask me if I like what she's doing. I would 100% recommend Bella but avoid the lady with long dark hair and rectangle glasses at any cause. read more
