I hate to be so nasty about this place b/c i used to get my nails done here all the time. But boy-o-boy . they have problems. First of all there are a few of them that are very nice. everyone else is extremely rude! i know you think nail shop = rude & pushy, typical right? NO! They cannot balance an appointment book to save their lives. Their appointments run late, overlap and then push the walk-in waiters down. There has been several times where they call me to sit at one of their tables to get started, and ask me to move half way through to another person. Once, they asked me to move 4 times! finally i said "NO, please just finish me so I can leave, ive been here for almost 2 hours." and of course, they all start bickering in their language. It was embarrassing! COME ON NAIL GALLERIA! GET YOUR SH$T TOGETHER! and for the love of baby Jesus, don't a lip wax there! i don't know why i stuck it out with them for so long but the few girls that are 'qualified' to do the waxing there are so sloppy and careless its just ridiculous. they have a mediocre selection of nail polishes, NOTHING trendy, current or modern. The owner is a THIEF! He knows damn well there's no money in his atm machine (cash only) but you still get charged $2.50 for getting that cancelled transaction receipt. I knew from his smug smirk when I told him the atm didn't work that something was up. I kept my receipt just in case my money was still taken out of my account. Update: I came back here twice and I didn't get Rose both times. Normally I don't mind getting my manis or pedis from different people but both times I was really unimpressed. My gel manicure was unbelievably thick and painted onto my skin that it began peeling within 2-3 days. By the end of the week I took them all off.. I do admit Rose gives great manicures but it would be even better if everyone had the same quality service so I'm not only going to one person or I'm not disappointed every other time I go there... I really enjoyed the service here. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure when I came and they were pretty quick to have me seated. They finished everything in less than an hour and the quality of the service was great. 3 weeks later my gel nails are still in good shape all though they've grown out. I would come back here again. I attempted to get my pedicure done today and when I walked in I was asked if I wanted a regular pedicure or a deluxe? Ummm.. What is the difference I asked, and she pointed to the old tubs from the 90's and then to the spa chair. I said okay I want the deluxe. Really!? Nail places are still using those nasty old tubs. Anyhow I picked out my color and preceded to ask if they accept cc/debit and they said uhhhhh nuuuu we assept only ATM and you have to pull the cash out right here!? I can't complain about this place. They have always done a great job on my nails and they are super nice every time I go. I normally go on my hour lunch and they always do their best to get me out on time. This place is really hit or miss, but it's cheap, close, and I keep coming back, so I guess a three star rating is about right. I've never made an appointment so I'm not sure how that process works. I usually walk-in after work, so I appreciate that they are open until 7pm. My usual walk-in time is somewhere between 6 and 6:30. Sometimes there is a ~15 minute wait, but usually we are seated right away. Selection of nail polishes is pretty good, though there tend to be a lot more reds and pinks. They seem to also add trending colors every once in a while (ex. sea foam green and more neons this summer). The quality of the pedicure really depends on who the nail technician is. Sometimes they are very thorough and do an excellent job, other times they are not the most detailed, but it still comes out decent. You can also pay extra for designs. A basic pedicure consists of a cleaning, cut (tell them if you want your nails squared and not rounded), leg massage, polish, and drying station. Finally, don't expect a fancy salon interior. The furnishings are pretty shabby, but the tubs and utensils seem clean, which in the end is what matters the most to me. read more

Honestly because of the poor reviews I was a little hesitant to come here but did so because my dad likes to come for the paraffin wax. I was so pleasantly surprised! I was seated right away and asked what packages I would like for the services I wanted. They do try to up sell the gel polish but that's no big deal to me. I originally came in for just a regular mani and pedi but ended up using the dip powder on my nails and I really love it! It looks like they use some SNS products but the powders are Kiara Sky which is what they advertise. I've never used dip powders before but was curious about them and the girl who did my manicure was really patient in explaining the difference between then dip powder and gel polish. I really am pleased with the way all of my services turned out and will definitely be back! I think my total was $67 and that was for the basic manicure but with the dip powder and then I did a high package with my pedicure and it included callus removal, sea salt scrub, and the paraffin wax. I would say that the $67 was a fair price for everything that was done considering I've had less done and spent over $100. The staff was friendly and the space seemed clean and well kept. The salon is nothing super luxurious but it is still a wonderful shoppe. If you're looking for something local and decently priced I would definitely recommend this place! read more

This place deserved not one single star, but there has to be one to submit this. So on with my review. Worst place to go to! Worst customer service actually no customer service! The lady that did my acrylics was horrible! When she finished there were bubbles in every single nail. I showed her and she told me no I don't see anything you just looking too hard you are ok, 26 dollars. I told her im not paying for this so she grabbed my hand and began to file one nail down painted it and said there better. I said no all if them have bubbles and the one you just fixed is worse. She said no it's ok you just too picky. I kept telling her no and she said fine talk to my manager. He told her to fix them. Once again she only fixed my thumb nails and I said no they all have bubbles. She said fine I'll take them off. Right as she was about to cut them she said "I'll take them off then you can go somewhere else and they will do a better job." I pulled my hand away and said no you ruined my nails so you are going to fix them. She agreed and took them all off. The entire time she had attitude and all the other ladies were giving me dirty looks. To make it worse she left my real nails thin and ruined, and said ok you can have someone else do them. The manager said come in tomorrow I will do them for you. I told him ok but are you going to let me leave with my nails looking this bad. She didn't put oil or lotion to take all the powder off of my nails and hands. The manager told me "I'm very sorry she is very unprofessional," my question is why is she there? I do not advise anyone to go here worst place to get your nails done and if they mess up they will all deny it and refuse to fix it. But don't let your guard down! You the customer is always right! She does awesome pedicures & makes sure I leave with super soft feet! When Cindy is unavailable, I ask for Trang who also makes sure I am happy with everything! This place is TERRIBLE!!!! This is my first review ever but it had to be done. The lady Who did my pedicure was so fast it probably took 15 minutes. She was rough and left smudges of nail polish all over my skin. She threw the disposable sandals at me instead of handing them to me and asked me for tip. I came to have my acrylics removed and get a new set. The lady tried ripping my acrylics off and when I asked her to soak them instead she looked so bothered. I used to come here all the time until I moved. I went recently and was very disappointed. I went in to get a black french tip manicure with gel and the lady I had rushed through it. When I noticed the black wasn't really black more of a greyish I asked if she could put another coat. She looked at me as if I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. This place has gone DOWN HILL over the past couple of years. I've refused to go back for at least 6 months. The service (quality of their work and customer service) has just gotten progressively worse over time. I would leave highly disappointed every time I left there. I'd have smudges on my nails, cuticles weren't cut adequately, they were rude or I just waited way too long. But today, it was the last straw. I'm writing today's review because of the service my mother got. We have been long time customers (over 15 years) and I'm assuming there is new management now. She went in and there were four ladies that were not helping anybody. Literally just sitting there and chit chatting. My mom goes in there and says she needs a fill. Immediately they start talking in their language and say NOBODY can help her. When my mom challenged them and asked them how none of them were able to help them. They started saying how some people were going to come in (although it was clear they were making it up) but there was one left that didn't seem to have some potential customer coming in. My mom asked why she couldn't help her, she said "Oh i'm I don't do fills" which is a lie because my mom has seen her do them. She challenged her again and then the lady said "I'm not very good." UH...WHAT?! Listen, my mom isn't complicated. There's no reason for them to be difficult like that. This business was previously family owned and did some decent work. Now, neither my mom nor I will be returning to this place. I've seen a few other loyal customers say they aren't returning. They're losing valuable business. read more

I try to come here at least once a month, Tina does such a great job but shes so busy, you definitely have to call ahead and make sure shes not busy with anyone. The spa pedi chairs are great, I dont ever get the regular pedi, always spa with me :) The staff here are all nice and friendly :) Now they have an atm machine which is free of charge to customers!! yay for that!! A lot of nail places dont accept cards so at least they have a machine there :) I recommend Tina, she has a smile on her face, very friendly, my pedicures are always clean and looking very nice!! read more

Here to update a previous review in which I gave 5 stars. Big mistake. I came to do an acrylic manicure (which by the way with an appointment I still ended up waiting 40 minutes for) and the lady completely butchered it. The acrylic nails themselves were crooked and WAYYYY TOO THICK. The woman packed on layers upon layers of acrylic powder and they truly looked embarrassing. When I asked her to shave some acrylic off and make my nails look normal she laughed. Then, the polish was packed on in layers as well resulting in a sticky manicure that never dried. Like, if you stuck your nail in my manicure it would create a dent because she packed the polish on TOO THICK. She didn't clean around the edges and also made me bleed when she cut my cuticles. Terrible service, terrible manicure, just terrible overall. My nails look like a 5 year old did them. I am so disappointed. read more

When I first started coming here I loved it and everyone was really nice after a while it all went bad. I took my mom and niece with me once and we were sitting there for 20 mins before anyone even acknowledged us. My mom was left with a bump in her nail and they took someone who came way after us before my niece and had to ask them multiple times to take her. I thought it might of been just a bad day so I went again to day. I had an appointment at 2:15 and by 2:40 I was still waiting with no idea of how much longer it would so I left. The service is horrible and there's been times where they leave my gel clumpy. Although she was the one that didn't take my appointment today I recommend if you do go here ask for Tiffany she like the only one who knows what she's doing and the only one who's actually polite. read more

The only 2 people i would see there is Golden for nails and Annie for pedicure. Annie is the best if you have ingrown nails because she can get them out without hurting you. I used to go to Tina but she has attitude and if she is in a bad mood she will not give you a smile.
