Your experience will depend on who you get and if they want to help you or not-seems like. I have stiletto shaped acrylic nails. Today I asked for a broken thumb nail tip fix and the technician (Ivy) filed my broken nail down-FILED it down-She didn't fix it. When I brought to her attention that my right hand thumb nail was shorter than my left hand thumb nail by almost half an inch,she seemed annoyed. because she sighed and rolled her eyes. She asked me what I wanted, so I asked her if she could apply a nail tip over my nail and then put acrylic powder over it. As a customer, should I really be the one delegating how to fix a nail? Isn't she the professional? Doesn't she take pride in the quality of her work? She then applied acrylic powder (only) over my broken nail to extend the length creating the illusion of a longer nail. She didn't want to fix it by applying a nail tip on it to extend the length. I even told her that if it costs extra to fix it, the way I want it to be fixed, that I would be OK with that. She just didn't want to do it that way. My thumb nail now looks thick and a bit crooked. I posted a video of it. I wanted to tell her to smooth it out more but she seemed very upset when I asked her to add a tip in the first place. I'm disappointed today. I hope they improve soon. I've been coming here for years, I always make sure I tip well and would love to keep coming here. Because of my previous experiences with other technicians at this location, my rating was at 5 stars before today. I just changed it to 1 Star today. This is my first time coming here. The atmosphere is uncomfortable. The nail techs do not talk to you. There was an awkward silence when they were not talking to each other. Customers would walk in and they would just point to the wall where their nail polish was located. I had a pedicure done. It was okay, not the best but not the worst. After she was done cutting my cuticles she asked if I wanted the dead skin scraped off the bottom of my feet. I thought that was naturally included in a pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure did an okay job. She was a little rough. They only take cash (which is odd) they do offer a ATM machine, had to wait to pay. Paid $20 for a pedicure which isn't bad but there was no massage. I will not be coming here again. read more

I have been going to this place for many, many years. If I could give it 0 stars I would. So many complaints. You are rushed through each job as if you are on a factory assembly. The women are rude, often staring and talk about you as they do their marginal work. The job they do is not with care, and nails are often crocked or misshaped. The foot message is not even a message, and most of the women, with the exception of one just touch your feet ever so briefly. I have even had these women not complete the job to move in to the next one. Once there was even a complaint about the tip. This place is extremely unprofessional and not another cent will be spent at this establishment. Thankfully, I have found another place to go. I've been going to Nail Galleria since it first opened, about 20 yrs ago. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I tried the new Gel Dip manicure which the salon just started. The dip is part Gel and part Acrylic in my opinion. I like that the polish stays on longer than gel and it doesn't require the UV light. I like that the nails are more flexible than acrylic, so you can still pick up pennies! It is supposed to be better for your nails than gel. I didn't like that they have to use the electric nail file. It sometimes hurts when they use it. It takes more time to do, than the gel. The dip makes your nails thicker than gel, but not as thick as acrylic. So this is a good addition to all the nail options that the salon offers and I would highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Went to this salon today with my daughter to get our gel nails redone. Even after soaking our nails with remover, both of the women who did our nails had such a difficult time removing our old gel color that they ended up filing our nail surfaces down so thin that it is uncomfortable. After I kept questioning and complaining about the filing, another girl came and did my other hand. She seemed to be the only one in there that had knowledge. Although they didn't speak English, you can tell they were talking about you. We won't be going back there again....... read more

They have definitely improved since their move. The facility itself is much larger and they use plastic liners which they clean in between each pedicure. Their nail polish selection is ok, not a lot of higher quality brands. The gel manicure was great and quick, but I got no massage after, just a quick hand rub with oil. The pedicure was ok as well. My toes were not cleaned as much as I usually like and the scrub was basically not existent. Her massage was ok. The price was great. We got two pedicures, one manicure, and one gel manicure for $60. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm in the mood for a quick and inexpensive mani and pedi. read more

We are always greeted like family, but every client is treated with the highest level of respect and care. And they told me to wait two-three more hours while another girl came after me and asked for pedicure without making an appointment and they said they'll be ready in 5 mins. This place is absolutely ridiculous. When I first walked in, the employees including the owner or the wife were making comments about how I was dressed and didn't look like I could afford their services. What really pissed me off was that they were making these comments about me in Vietnamese and little did they know I am fluent in this language. I spoke english to them initially when I walked in and didn't say a word to see what other comments they had to say. As I sat there, while they worked on my nails, I couldn't believe they stuff I was hearing from all of them. All they did was criticize the customers in front of their faces in Vietnamese and the people sat there unknowingly. They said how stupid some of the customers sitting there were and how they were liers because they did not want to pay for more of their services. When I was finally finished I confronted them in Vietnamese and told them they should be ashamed for doing that to their patrons. I told each patron what they said about them and the sad part about it is one of the customers defended them and she didn't even know they were ridiculing and criticizing her the most. I will never go back to this place again or recommend this nail shop to anyone unless they like being talked about. read more

I do NOT recommend this place. First, for a simple manicure, they do a poor job. Second, it is extremely noisy; the employees are constantly speaking to each other, across the entire room, several at once, in foreign languages, to the point where it is disturbing and makes it impossible to relax. Third, these ladies are constantly trying to upgrade the service you request in order to make more money. Even after you say "no," they go on and on and won't stop. Fourth, they are way too expensive and charge more than any other place in that area. You had better ask for the fee before you begin, or you may be in for a shock. They charge $3 to $8 more that the next nearest nail shops, for common services. Fifth, they are the only nail shop I know of that does not accept any debit or credit cards, but it is not posted and you will not find that out until you go to pay. I went once - but just to give them the benefit of the doubt, tried it again. Same scam. In my opinion they do not even rate one star, and you should avoid this place. read more

Went in on a Sunday morning as I didn't have time to go to my regular salon. They were not too busy. There was a 5 minute wait for three pedicures and a gel manicure. I let them start with my daughter since she was getting gel, then me and my son. I order the deluxe pedicure for me and my son since that includes callous remover and a salt scrub. As more people came in for acrylic nails I noticed that the techs all started to rush. Not just us but other clients. To my surprise, my son's pedicure was finished before mine and my daughter's and was the last to be seated. He barely got a minute salt scrub and lotion application...can NOT consider what she did a massage. Totally not worth the extra $9 upcharge. My pedi was not much better. She polished my nails extra thick that after a few hours they were still tacky eventually being ruined. This place is very disappointing although I didn't have high expectations as you can tell right away that cleanliness is not a priority when you look around. I will NEVER return here!
