Good luck finding a close spot. We parked across from the Lyric about 4 or 5 blocks away. Once inside , you will see the small bar straight ahead to your right. I suggest getting 2 drinks. We were shown the no video sign by the usher midway thru the performance. The balcony seats , which I would have loved to have bought, were all empty. Not sure if they were bought or reserved by Lyric club members and they did not show, or if they were available for purchase. Did not show they were available when I was purchasing tickets. All seats were $50. Excellent price. After the show, while we were waiting for pics and merchandise from Ana, for 20 to 30 minutes, I would have loved to have grabbed a beer from the bar, but the bar was closed after the show. I will definitely be back for another live performance.

The reason this historic theater is a great place to see a show is how up close and personal these performances have been. Many thanks

LOVED the helicopter experience, for $100, it was totally worth it. I was scared at first but as…read moresoon as I got strapped in and we took off I felt secure and that I was in good hands of the expert pilots. We had great seats in the media/photography pit, my only complaint or advice would be to wear a wide brimmed hat and lots of sunscreen. Even in November, Florida is brutally hot. I did get really scared during the parts where the canons went off, I jumped every single time. My favorite part of the show was definitely the acrobatics show where the planes would dip, dive, corkscrew, and roll. I also liked seeing the helicopters dumping water in the simulated water drop to put out fires.

The instructors are all wonderful, and very astute about dealing with people of different skill levels, learning styles and physicality (I have bum knees, & even when they're acting up I have a great time learning steps, etc (Roberto is particularly great at working around problems) If you're as clumsy as I am you'll probably be surprised at how fast they are at getting you comfortable on the dance floor. It's a very pleasant environment, & there are regular opportunities to try it out with no obligation, open houses, community classes, etc. Anyone in the area, singles or couples, would be very comfortable stopping it at one of these (I was given a gift certificate for some private lessons. & was hooked ) Highly suggest if you're in area giving this a try on a Monday night.

Model Trains Who…read moredoesn't love model trains? Once upon a time every kid had a set of trains hanging around the house that got dusted off for endless trips around the Christmas tree. As we got older the real diehards had rooms in their house dedicated to creating tiny worlds full of trains and this is exactly what you will find at the Treasure Coast Model Railroad in PSL. The TCMR is located in what used to be an old fire station on Becker Road and opens to the public for a few hours on Saturdays- but check their website for hours etc. I took my two littles over for a look as I always wanted to indulge in this hobby but never had the time or space for it. Upon entering you are faced with multiple landscapes with all types of trains - each section of the layout seems to be managed by one or more of the member of this club and on open house days they are all there proudly showing off their creations. The amount of detail that goes into the landscapes is sort of a lost art and I'm sure many hours are spent creating and maintaining the layouts. Trains are running, factories are making things and there are lots of little villages and vehicles to look at as you move from one section to the next. The physical layouts are roughly chest level for adults - but there provided some folding stepstools so the kids can get high enough to actually see what is going on. Definitely a great way to kill an hour for anyone who loves trains - there are a lot of details packed into those landscapes. Give it a visit when they have their open house - you will surely appreciate all the craftsmanship that goes into these types of places. Fair amount of parking behind and to the side of the building.
