First let me start with, Dr. Powers is awesome attentive great bed side manor and easy to work . However, the office staff has no idea what they're doing , lazy uninformed and not willing to stay informed with insurance company . On several occasions I had to tell them the same thing and finally had to get insurance company involved to get results. This is just a review and f "Riverwalk "location this does not reflect any other location in fact the out patient surgery in Redlands was amazing and again the upstairs office staff was terrible at that facility. Got the referral from Anthem's website. Called and made an appointment with a Dr. Powers. When I showed up I was told my appointment was actually with a PA named 'Dion'. I don't trust PA's to make complex soft tissue injury diagnosis(you may feel different) but regardless, they pulled a bait and switch on me. 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time(and they inform you in their new patient paperwork that if you miss an appointment they'll charge you $50-no word on what they pay you if they miss one), they tell me my copay is $200!! TO SEE A PA!!! Since I was gonna leave if I wasn't called in within an hour, I simply laughed at the request and left. read more

I've had to have five appointments rescheduled in the last two months! So far they have made 2 appts for me, the first one I went and they said they needed to reschedule because I didn't have my paperwork from a 2018 surgery and there was no way they would be able to get it and the dr won't see me without it so I made another appt, came in today and they said I canceled it, which I didn't then they said the dr canceled it but he won't see me because I had surgery from a previous drz why couldn't they tell me this prior to scheduling me when they already knew I had a surgery with another dr in the past, to top it off the surgeon I had also worked out of there office and they were able to get the medical records so instead of having good customer service they're me feel it wad my fault for them scheduling me with a different dr and pushed my appt back again for another date so far horrible experience with the staff.. the girl that helped me today was very polite but it doesn't make up for the fact I took now 2 days off of work for this appt and its going to be a 3rd I take off read more

I really enjoy this place. I generally get back to see the doctor 15 minutes after my appointment which is better than normal these days. The staff is outstanding. Cheerful, thoughtful. My DOC - Ghazal - shoulder, knee - well I have been fortunate and had a couple good doctors, but none better. Great "bedside" manner. Takes his time. I always know I am getting good treatment when I am ready to go and he is not. He has a couple of the nicest nurses you will ever find. Maybe its just because I'm a great patient? I saw one doctor here but I forgot his name because I didn't care for him so I wanted another doctor and was definitely more satisfied with Dr. Ghazal he was very pleasant and he did my knee surgery in February of 2019 and I did not have any pain of course the medication helped I could only take half a pill because they were too strong for me!! And gave me time off from work with physical therapy I especially love the fact that he's giving me the time off that I need to recover because most doctors won't do that! So if you're looking for a good doctor I highly recommend him! read more

Every time I come here I arrive early. I sit for over an hour past my appointment time. They over book or have horrid time management. I see the same doctor at the redlands location and have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes past my appointment. I recommend going ANYWHERE but this office. Its frustrating to have your time not be important enough to try and stay on time. read more

I really liked my doctor, but this office leaves a lot to be desired. They have long wait times about 50% of the time I have been there. A friend also had that same experience. The office personnel also botched the last two referrals for physical therapy, which caused delays and scrambling by others to get these issues resolved. I also called in and asked for a topical pain killer to be prescribed. No prescription or message back from them. Sounds like they have too much work on their hands so you may be better off going elsewhere. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews here which don't seem justified in total. I've had a very good experience here. Emily at the front desk is very helpful. I was told by my medical group that I was not covered by Dr. Roy Caputo who works in this office. I called to cancel my appointment and Delilah from scheduling researched my situation and found out I was covered under Arrowhead Orthopaedics, who dr. Caputo works for. I was therefore able to keep my appointment which was very important to me. I have total confidence in Dr. Roy Caputo. He is very thorough and very concerned about my situation in which I almost lost my arm 9 months ago and then my orthopedic doctor(who I am forever grateful for for saving my arm)referred me to Dr. Caputo because my doctor couldn't do anything else for me. Dr. Caputo has a couple options available for me regarding my arm and how it heals. He is very helpful and in fact is the one who trained my original Doctor who saved my arm. Might you have to wait when you come in? Sure could be it's probably because the doctors and making sure the previous clients are getting taken care of properly. Allow plenty of time and bring your cell phone., that's what they're for. read more

I don't know why they set an appointment time if the office doesn't follow agenda. My appointment was at 9:20 am and office asked you to come ahead of time in case need to file paperwork. Of course, I did. So I'm waiting and noticing people coming asking for the same doctor then going in after few minutes of waiting. So now I'm waiting 50 minutes and still not called I walk up to receptionist to ask her when I'll be called she came out with an excuse, oh maybe the doctor had an emergency I said so why all people came after I went in? Dr. Caputo is an amazing, attentive , surgeon. He is very patient in explaining procedures, limitations, healing, etc. If only he had his own office. This facility however is not on the same level. The front desk staff give off a vibe like they you ran over their dog. A 730 appointment can almost be certain you won't be brought back until after 830 or 9. Once you make it through the wall of hate things improve big time. Its like walking through a portal to attentive nurses and desk clerks. Essentially an office within an office, Caputo team is on point. Front desk will make you feel like you made a mistake. Forget trying to call to schedule appointments, get information or approval. Everything is a big to do with YOU doing all the legwork. Would be a 1 star but the doctor himself is so great. read more

I am so disgusted with this business. I am treated no different than others it looks like. At the Redlands office the receptionist kept telling me reasons why I couldn't be seen even though NO ONE informed me there was an issue with the authorization. I had to call and make sure everything was ok for my appointment but when I got there I was told you can't be seen, we don't have the x rays and the authorization is incorrect. I brought the x rays on a disc with me and for them to turn me away for their mistake is not my fault. Then my pcp's office quickly corrected it but they came up with another excuse as to why I couldn't be seen. I told her it feels as thought you're looking for reasons to turn me away. And her response was "no I'm not". Then I go to the Riverside office for a separate appointment and the staff says we can't see you without the MRI report. "We always tell everyone to bring the report ", if that were true I would have brought the report instead of driving all the way from Banning to Riverside. She was just as rude as the receptionist from Redlands and I am absolutely disgusted that arrowhead Ortho would hire such disgusting human beings to work in healthcare. These patients need to be helped not given excuses as to why they can be seen. read more

I injured the ligaments in my wrist and hand at work. Im a tradesmen, structural metal framer to be exact. I thought it was a sprain, I rapped it and continue to work for about 2 months. It has not gotten better. We work through the pain in my industry until we physically cant anymore. When I could no longer work I knew something was really wrong. Come to find how serious the injury was I came in to see Dr. Caputo. From the moment he walked into the room I had horrible vibes from him. He didnt introduce himself, he told me to sit in the chair not on the exam table (why does it matter where I sit for a wrist and hand injury?) Within moments of meeting him he made me feel terrible about my situation. I tired to explain that I thought this was in injury I could take care of in time and it would heal. Like I said we worth through the pain to build hospitals, schools, and medical facilities. He basically made me feel stupid for thinking that way. He told me if I dont get the surgery there is a high chance I would never work again. The whole time he spoke he seemed annoyed and in a rush. He was literally talking himself out the door. And not once did he as how I was doing or if I was in any pain. By the way I waited 1.5hrs to get in to see him. This office is so disorganized and crazy. Dr. Caputo is a fraud in my book. Im not asking anyone to waive a magic wand and make everything ok. But isnt your job to heal the sick? And possibly be kind to someone coming to you when they have no other options? Dr. Ghazal is great I have no complaints. I had seen him in the Redlands office and besides the wait..satisfied. I had to wait weeks to make my follow up...mind you this last follow up is what o needed to have before I could look for employment again due to my injury. I called multiple times to verify time and location. I was told the time and the 'Riverside Location'...so you can imagine my surprise when the address was wrong. I called the office and Andrea answered and when I asked why I wasn't told the address was wrong online...she proceeded to argue that she told me the exact location. Her exact words were 'the riverside location'...she was on speaker and my whole family heard. No apology or anything...she just didn't care. If your online address is wrong why wouldn't that be the first thing mentioned? Now I have to wait two weeks for the makeup appt because no one answered their phone for half an hour. Terrible customer service and at this point it's costing myself and my family money we don't have. Due to little to no important information being given out. Super disappointed. Doctor Jason Solomon is very unprofessional and rude. He's a complete narcissist, he refuse to hear anything I said. If I attempted to Interact with the visit he became very aggressive and refuse any input from me. He came across very racist and hurry up the visit. He never gave me a chance to give him my input. Very negative and always act as he was being bother by the patients. I'm surprise he's lasted this long in the business. My orthopedic doctor was Barry Grames and let me just say he ruined my college soccer career and gave me knee problems for life. I went in 2 years ago to get my meniscus repaired and acl reconstructed and he only repaired my ACL and not meniscus!! When I mentioned to him my knee wasn't feeling right during therapy he said it was normal.... so I went to go get a 2nd opinion and the doctor told me I have a torn meniscus and had to go into surgery again. After the surgery, the new surgeon told me there was no signs of meniscus repair. Worst surgeon ever shame on you and your work. read more

I cannot believe how horrible this place is! It's like we've gone back in time with the amount of time and how ridiculous the wait is to accomplish anything! My aunt is almost 80 and has been waiting over 4 months to schedule her surgery. She has had to jump through hoops and do all the running around to continue to wait. When she calls to find out the status to schedule her surgery she is told something different each time. The incompetency of the office staff is unbelievable. They are either lying, stalling, or have very little knowledge of their jobs. One day they say they don't have something, the next day they say they have it all. Then the following day they are missing parts! Then they told her that they are waiting on the doctors approval, and then they say they have the approval and are waiting on the scheduler. Then when she calls. Ack to schedule they say that the doctor hasn't approved it!!! Nobody can tell you what's really going on. Is this because it's such a mess that they don't know? Is this because nobody cares? All I know is that my poor aunt is in excruciating pain, and they can't even refill her pain medication! Apparently this is common practice according to the other reviews. My next step is to call Medicare and complain. Medicare will drop doctors if they have a low approval rating. My primary care doctor faxed over a STAT referral for my fractured ankle at 9 am, and I called them at 10:45 am to check on an appointment time. The lady told me that hadn't received my doctor's fax/ She told me, "It takes weeks for us to get a fax." I questioned her, asking to make 100% sure I understood her correctly (since my experience has been that faxes are almost instant), so she asked me for my medical info so she could call my insurance company and get the authorization number so she could schedule and appointment and she would call me back. Almost two hours later, I hadn't hear back, so I called again. This time, I got another lady who told me that they ,"don't make outgoing calls to insurance companies," and asked me who I talked to previously, but I didn't get her name, AND OF COURSE THERE WAS "NOTHING IN MY NOTES ABOUT THAT." She told me I would have to call my insurance company and get the number, so I did and called them back. This time, I spoke to someone else who said that they would call the Riverside office and schedule to appointment and call me back. After another two hours of not hearing from anyone, I called back AGAIN to be told that the office manager had stepped out of the office and they didn't know when she would be back. My toddler broke his arm and the 1st time I took him in the M.As and Xray tech were all so nice and super understanding that he is a baby with a BROKEN arm and has to keep getting touched by different people he doesn't know so he's going to cry!!! My first visit was great, but sadly thats been my only visit. I went may 20th, and they told me we would schedule an appointment for surgery once my insurance approved it. I been calling for an update and never get an answer. I wait about ten minutes to talk to someone, which isn't too bad compared to other places, but then they transfer me to the person who is supposed to make my appointment, and she never answers. Her voicemail says to leave a message and she will call back by the end of the day. Its been 2 weeks and no call back. I left three messages. As an athlete who needs to get back into the game, I would like to schedule my surgery asap. She told me it wouldn't take long, but a month later, I'd say that was a lie. Recovery time will be long enough, I don't have time for this delay they are creating. Trying to find another place would be more of a hassle, so which they would call me back.
