I started seeing Dr Haider and Dr Sherafat around 2004 for a Workers Comp QME treating physician. Within the past 13 years, I have rarely ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for my followup appointments or treatments. The Haider Spine Center (HSC) was the first facility to pursue all conservative less invasive therapies in my circumstance. Other spine orthopaedic surgeons before seeing Dr Haider were all too anxious to perform invasive surgery. Because of HSC's pool therapy, physical therapy and Dr Sherafat's chiropractic expertise, I have been able to manage my lumbar pain and limit the progress of my spine issues. Dr Haider is known for his innovative technological advancements in spinal surgery techniques. He also travels the world teaching those techniques to other spine surgeons. I have the utmost confidence with the Haider team if it ever comes to the day that I might need surgery. The PA's are knowledgeable and polite. Staff seems pleasant except for busy days which is understandable. If you are faced with the possibility of having any spine surgery, I highly recommend HSC for your primary or second opinion. Of the dozens of physicians and specialists I have seen over the last 20 years, Dr Cramer is by far the most uncaring, useless and discourteous I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. This entire operation revolves around generating income from surgery. If you are not a candidate for surgery, or have had prior surgeries, in my opinion you will be wasting your time. My appointment was at 1:15 pm with Dr. Haider and these appointments take a month or 2 to get. Vanessa who is his employee who is extremely rude, and unprofessional stated Dr. Haider left the office at 9:30 am on an emergency. From 9:30 am to 11:15 am none of this employees called to inform us Dr. Haider will with not be seeing patients in the after. Vanessa is just too argumentative concerning they were planing on call after noon patients at 12 noon. Why wait until noon instead of calling at 9:30 pm when he left. read more

Not very happy with my care here As a new patient, it took me months to get authorization to finally see a provider, for Drkamshi to spend less than 5 minutes with me in the room. I tried to hand him my MRI's and other provider reports he simply said"I don't need them" told me nothing was visible in X-ray, no physical exam, no review of history, just a rushed appointment. I left visibly upset, legs visibly spamming and I couldn't even get a DMV form to renew handicap place card due to provider "not feeling comfortable" cause I am young and relatively healthy. I left the office with a 3 month follow up and manny more questions than answers. Staff was great, Kara went above and beyond to help me get my authorization fixed. Let me start this review by saying I was referred to this facility through the VA. Apparently the VA uses this facility when they are backlogged with appointments. First let me tell you about trying to schedule an appointment. After 5 calls and several hours of being left on hold (accumulative, not all at one) I ended up having to show up to their office in person because they couldn't figure out who I was. My VA coordinator sent over my info several time. First sign of incompetence. The day of my appointment I get taken to the back where I am asked if I brought in my MRIs or X-rays. I said no, the VA would have sent that with my package but if I needed to bring them, why was I not told at the time of my appointment. An hour went by of me waiting when my wife calls and tells me Haider Spine just called her thinking she was the VA and asking for my records. Wtf! I'm suppose to trust you with a needle in my back, but your office staff can't even figure out the difference between an "Emergency Contact" or the VAs number? I immediately walked out, I would not trust this facility at all. read more

This office leaves every exam room door open. Every patient can hear every other patient's medical issues. Violating medical privacy. I had a bad response to an MRI causing severe pain and numbness of limbs and face. I went in to see Dr.Khamsi right away. Within 1 minute he said those symptoms normal, even though I was crying in pain. He said to take a Tylenol and come back in 3 months and walked out of the room. All under 1 minute. I left and went straight to the ER where I spent 10 hours being treated. I do not recommend this center. Seems like if you spend 1 minute with a patient and bill the insurance, it's a money maker. And patients that are suffering are left to suffer. read more

Worst place to receive care . I went to this place in 2019 for a consultation as I had a massive tumor in my back but never went in to get my surgery done with Dr. Dennis Cramer. He showed no interest or compassion I never felt confident or comfortable so I went for a second opinion and met Dr. Mark Spicer . I needed up doing my surgery with him he was absolutely amazing and I left an amazing review for him and his team. Come 2023 I get a referral to see a Neurosurgeon and for some reason I didn't think it would be the same doctor as it was a few years ago. My appointment was at 10:30 I got there at 10 as they needed me to check in 15 mins prior to appointment. After waiting two hours to see the doctor in comes Dr. Cramer he barely looked at my MRI CD just read the notes and when I told him I was worried as I was having numbness on my right side again and severe pain in my back followed with a burning sensation he tells me that the mass that I had since 2021 is still there , he then asked me " what do u want another surgery? If I put u in the table and cut u open u would be paralyzed is that what u want? I was in shock as the tone he used was rude and showed no compassion towards my situation, inspite if me telling him I was worried as I am a single mom with an 8 year old. He repeated the same thing again . He spent no more than 5 to 10 mins talking to me but spent a good amount of time taking notes on his dictaphone. He violated patience rights by keeping the door open and asking me to lift my shirt inorder to see my scar on the back. Completely facing the entire corridor and the people sitting in the office .he is a rude and a jerk and should be stripped off his license. I have reported him and hopefully they do something.if I can give zero starts I would. I walked out with emotions and tears as it was a complete rendezvous and I realized the only reason I never went back to him for my surgery was exactly because of this, and I'm glad I didn't . I don't think I would ever want a doctor with no compassion or being sensitive to his patients laying a knife on me. Doctors like him should never be allowed to practice, they are meant to be people that we look for answers, comfort and compassion. He has none of these. If u want to live or u want someone who really cares and love what he does look for someone else. Never have I walked out feeling so overwhelmed scared and angry at a doctor. Hi, I do not have enough nice things to say about Dr. Haider. He has been treating Terri now for almost a year. He is very nice and has a great bed side manner. If you question his ability or credentials, all you have to do is take a look at any of the walls in his waiting room. He has many articles published about him and his work with innovated back surgeries and techniques. There are letters from the state senate, many medical organizations and even Christopher Reves praising he work. It is nice to know you are being seen by a doctor who is well know and recognized by his peers. Very comforting! The only drawback to his practice is the wait time to get in. The office is almost always 30-60 minutes late, after your scheduled appointment time, getting you in to see the doctor. I think this is terrible. If a patient has the courtesy to show up on time for an appointment, the staff should show the same courtesy getting you in, or at least explain why the wait! read more

If you have an up coming appointment, cancel! They are very unprofessional. The dr was rude and did not let me explain my history to him. They violated my patient's rights by leaving the door open during the exam. When I talked to the office manager I was told it was policy to leave it open. When NO dr. I've been to leave the door open. Especially during an exam when they lift up your shirt to check you. So if you do go. Make sure to ask for the door to be closed. If not it " on you to ask" for the door to be closed. Horrible place, turn back and find someone else while you still have the chance. read more

I would never think that the facility that is so highly praised would have the worse communication I have ever dealt with in my life. I'm even talking about 21 years in the Marine Corps where i believed we sucked with passing word but we would run circles around this place. Im just waiting on simple call back with a date for a surgery and it's like trying to recreate humanity. At the end of the day if people would just communicate what's going on then I wouldn't have an issue. I'm the one in pain so maybe if they felt it they would deal with peoples stuff the same way that they would like people to deal with theirs. On a good note my spinal fusion was done by Dr Khamsi in July of 2018 and he definitely is a great surgeon. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all the questions that I had that made me comfortable and confidant that the surgery was going to be a success. read more

These dr. Performed surgery on my mother 14 of Oct. My mother went back to ER due to the same pain from a pinched nerve that was supposed to away with surgery, they have been giving my mother the run around having her sit at the hospital just giving her morphine no explanation as to why she still has pain, even after having an MRI dongle that took them 2 days to do l, every time I call assistants number goes straight to voicemail yes he did block our number and I can confirm it because i called from my work phone and calls go through perfectly, which is very unprofessional, disrespectful overall malpractice, avoid this place, Inconsiderate avoid this place at all cost. My doctor prescribed 12 sessions of Aqua therapy. On the first day I came, they did not have my paperwork from the insurance (I'm a workers comp case) so the ladies made a few phone calls to get the paperwork needed. It took about 45 minutes for them to get everything squared away. That that time it was close to lunch time so the doctor came out and told me I should come back the next day because there was not enough time to do my evaluation. I come back the next day, he gave me four exercises to do in the pool and I never saw him again. Last week I was informed that my 12 sessions of therapy were completed. I argued the fact that I was only "treated" 11 sessions because the first day I was just rescheduled. The lady told me that because the doctor personally spoke to me to comeback the next day it counts as an evaluation. The exercises I was told to do here can be done at any pool. They consist of. Walking, marching, and lateral walk. Since I'm on workers comp, I have to come to this facility but I would much rather walk around in the pool at the local gym. Today I was granted the one session owed to me because the doctor is "very kind and generous." First off, let me say that I have NOT received services there. This is merely my impression of the clinic after calling to get an appointment. The person who answered the phone was not very friendly; when I told her I was inquiring about receiving treatment, the FIRST thing she asked me was what kind of insurance I had. I told her my carrier; she wanted to know if it were HMO or PPO. I told her PPO. Then I corrected the carrier name, since we had just switched insurance and I forgot; the new insurance is still PPO though, and suddenly, she sort of hemmed and hawed and said, "Yeah, we don't have any openings until late March." My impression of the interaction is that she didn't like my insurance and did not want to provide services because of that. And frankly, even if they do provide excellent care, after this first phone call, there is no way I would ever consider going to them. I understand that doctors need insurance in order to get paid, but it is pretty sick that when a person in pain calls for help, the first question is "what kind of insurance do you have?" I guess that's why doctors don't answer their own phones; they allow their "receptionists" to do their dirty work so they aren't in danger of directly violating their Hippocratic oath. read more

This center is un organized,don't care for patients,and not professionals at all. It is difficult to call them on phone. They hardly answer. I went there three weeks ago the nurse ask me my weight and hight then she ask me if I know my average blood pressure, I told her, she wrote all of them in my chart. With out having me on scale or taking my blood pressure. Then doctor didn't show to office after one hour wait. Office manager came and said he will send me to pain management doctor to get a shot in two days. It's been three weeks nothing happened. I don't recommend this center if you need results read more

So my doctor referred me here for an appointment and I called and was told they had no appointments until a month out. So they gave me an appointment and confirmed for May 9th. I wrote it down and repeated it to JJ. She said Yes, it is on the 9th. So next thing I know I get a packet in the mail with the wrong date on it. I called right away and was told by JJ -I was wrong it was not her mistake. I said look I wrote down exactly what you told me and I repeated it and even told you I have to ask way in advance at my job to take off and she said, "NO! I never told you that!" I was like "Yes you did because I wrote it down exactly like you told me." She didn't even apologize she just told me to bad that I had to come on the May 8th. Unreal-I scheduled this appointment months ago and she makes the mistake and then I am the one to suffer. Skip this place-JJ is rude and does not take ownership of her mistakes. I will contact my doctor and tell them how I was treated so they can schedule me somewhere closer and with a staff that cares about their customers, and who might be able to actually apologize when they make a mistake!: JJ you need to take ownership that just might of made a mistake-must be nice to be perfect!! read more

As a new patient I requested a neurosurgeon and they admitted to scheduling an orthopedic surgeon instead. The reasons they gave me was the orthopedic surgeon schedule had openings. Doctors rushed through appointments and did not clearly explain things. I had lots of questions and they appeared annoyed and dismissive. I had to convince the front office that I was not prescribed any medications, when they tried to give me someone else prescription. Doctor's said they requested Physical Therapy (PT) for me, however, I called after a month and was told the request was not submitted due being short staffed and backed up. It's two months later and the request from this center for PT was not placed. Disgusted with the negligence of this place towards patients. read more

I was referred to this place by my doctor following spinal surgery. They also advertise on cable.. a lot. They even claim to be the premier spinal center in the inland empire. I wouldn't know as they have never called me. Not once. Despite numerous attempts, and call's transferred, the most I would get was an answering machine. Apparently the person who's voice mail I was transferred to no longer works there. At least that's what I'm guessing. I'm baffled. Been waiting for almost a month for someone to call me back so I can start PT!! I'm miserable and I'm so much pain!! I called and all they told me was they are back up and it was gonna take another week!! . I came here with high hopes as there website says they are one of the best spinal places. I'm so sad. I'm gonna lose my job as I'm having such a hard time walking sitting basically anything. I'm highly HIGHLY disappointed in this place. I understand being busy but we come to you in pain it's unacceptable to leave people hanging like this. I'm so beyond depressed with my pain that my quality of life is extremely low. I feel hopeless and lost. Nothing helps and this place just won't answer me or call me back. I can't even get my FMLA approves so I don't lose my job if 18 years!!! Cannot say enough about the staff of Haider, from the receptionist on up. Dr Khamsi did 3 decompressions, bone grafts and a L5-S1 fusion and literally restored my quality of life. 6 months post surgery and I feel pretty good, trying to get some of my strength back, but at least I am walking!! read more
