They did a decent enough job on several occasions, but were unreliable & moderately disrespectful on others. The worst, however, is their chaotic & implausible billing "system." I normally pay my bills within a day or two of receiving them, but for 2 out of the past 3 years, when the season is over, get an email informing me I have a large "past due" balance (this year, it was for ovet $2,000.) Note: when asked to show us the "bills" they sent, they told us they don't keep copies of outbound emails (!) and were unable to itemize the charges - so they were adamant that we must pay - but for what? This company is by far and away the worst service providers I have ever experienced in over 40 years,across all trades. Having at least 5 times asked for hardcopy service reports (versus emails), simply to explain what was done each visit to my pool, that request was not satisfied even once. This is my fourth Pool, and I have never had an issue with that request. Should you have the misfortune of hiring this company, you will be reassured that steps are being taken, and they will not materialize. When I requested a leak evaluation, I specifically instructed the diver to check the main drain. He himself told me that he did not go there and a subsequent visit was the same: he told me he focused on the other end of the pool and did not go to the drain. That did not stop Arrow from manufacturing before the court hearing, a report in direct contradiction to what their own diver told me, to cover their incompetence. The report was inaccurate, my skimmer was later found to be fine,( tried blaming THAT for the leak.) But that did not stop them from charging me a fortune.. FOR NOTHING. I knew it was the main drain because it was a problem years earlier and the leak had been caulked, but I was told that if there was a leak again, it was a simple fix, just redo the caulk at the main drain. I held off repeatedly on paying my bill because I kept waiting for service reports (that never materialized)... and when the brother of the owner,( Rich) came to my house to demand payment, it was not without asking FIRST if I was going to use them for a total renovation of my pool. That was pretty hilarious... I told him of my conversations with both Matt and Joanne, asking repeatedly for service reports and calling to complain about the incompetent handling of a leak report. This company is all surface, no substance. Unqualified, tone deaf,, and as I found out later, completely unhinged. Rich the thug sent a Constable to my door with notice of a lawsuit. When I called in, trying to ONCE AGAIN resolve this situation before a court appearance, he screamed into the phone.," what's your credit card number?" When I conveyed that I did not appreciate how he was speaking to me his exact response was," I will talk to you however I damn well, please." Gospel truth. This guy is a thug. Their service guy, Brandon, proceeded to perjure himself in court. To cover his thuggish boss. If you want incompetent service, deception, horrific customer relations, and repeatedly being sold a bill of goods, this is your lucky day. Hire these creeps at your peril. Awful service. I called Arrow because my pool heater wouldn't light this year. Has been working for 15 years. This guys come out to check my pool heater. Within 10 mins the tech tells me it needs to be replaced. I ask him why his response blew my mind. He says, " Because it's old and won't start ". Are you kidding?? I'm acutely aware of this. I proceed to say when I take my car to the mechanic, he doesn't say you need a new car because the engine won't start. Tell me exactly what the problem is. The digital display had a FAN error message. He had no clue !! They just want to replace the unit and make thousands when I'm sure it really only cost a couple of hundred. We had a great experience with Arrow Pool Services! I called because our pool seemed to be losing too much water each day. I called on a Thursday, the following Tuesday Wojiech came out and spent quite a bit of time on an extremely hot day checking all our seams and skimmers and steps and filter. Luckily our loss of water is due to this hot spell and evaporation, couldn't be more grateful to Arrow Pool Services for giving us peace of mind so quickly and professionally!! read more

Horrible customer Service! Arrogant, self aggrandizing pricks! They have zero customer service and ready to charge you for anything. They replaced my sand filter with a DE filter and spill/left sands all around the pool. Clearly they did not do a good enough job at replacing the sand filter and now all the sand was blown back into the pool. Hot mess! Now they got the nerve to offer to clean their own mess by charging me extra $80 per hour. WTF. I do not think so. I am not sure how and why they are still in business. read more

This is the third year in a row that my pool had to be drained and painted by Arrow Pool. Each time they have been less and less accommodating. This year they said they could do it but needed to charge to do it "right" - pressure blast it and what I understood to be at their cost - after talking to other pool companies I find they are overcharging me for their mistake. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a contractor. Last summer I hired arrow pools to fix several cracks in my pool. The workers left their trash from their lunch on my property. They padded my bill inexplicably for over $2,000! I was paying the workers by the hour and noticed that the hours charged seemed high compared with the amount of time that the workers were at my house. The manager, Rich was not able to explain or justify the high charges when I inquired about the bill. Rich became angry, yelled at me and hung up. He eventually provided the GPS coordinates for the work van, the workers were NOT at my house for the time that they reported and the bill was in fact inflated. There was no apology for this $2,000 overcharge. Moreover, my pool still leaks and at the end of the summer the work was not completed. I will not use them again. read more

We were referred to Arrow by our home warranty company. They were at our house in short order, identified the issue with our heater and spa control panel, and had all the repairs made by the weekend. Requires a 50% deposit upfront for an ALL Labor job of draining a pool. Sorry but I dont get 50% of my paycheck before I show up for work. They offer no guarantee they will even show up, you just have to take them on their word. They work with AHS warranty service and charged $160 additional to clean the 7X14 therapy pool after the main pump failed. AHS warranty doesn't cover any extra cleaning and draining costs due to the warranted equipment failure, but they Arrow Pool did discount to $120 and we're thankful for that. read more

I had this pool company open and close my pool for years. They will charge you for much more than you ask for and then ignore you if you call to ask about the bill. I asked them to vacuum the pool when they opened it this year. I was informed that "spring cleaning" is billed by the hour and I told them not to go beyond a few hours. "Is three ok?" She asked and I said "yes but it shouldn't take that long. They opened it no problem and then took water samples and left when I called about the vacuum she said the water had to be clear. Well they kept coming back every day until finally I stopped the guy in my driveway and reminded him I'm maxed out at 3 hours. He looks worried and tells me he can't get my pool to clear up and I will have to drain it. I ask him to vacuum it and he says he will but I'm already at 5 hours! I tell him to leave and call the pool company. The woman listens to what I have to say and then tells me the manager will give me a call back. Nothing for a week and then I get a bill for $700. I call again and am told the same thing but still no call from the manager. Then my landlord informs me that they installed a valve on one of his pipes that will come out of my security deposit. I never asked them to do this and they never asked if they could. I call twice more, a man answers and says the same thing "manager will give you a call". I apologize to the landlord and he tells me this pool company is a scam, if I don't pay they just turn it in to collections. Not wanting anything against my credit, I drive to the physical location of the store only to find they have added late fees to my bill. With tears in my eyes I paid the WHOLE thing. Please don't get involved with this company they will rob you blind. I am a single mom working two jobs and the decision to hire Arrow Pool cost us our weekend at the shore this year. read more

By far the best pool service I have ever encountered. We have had our pool for over a decade now and, as you can imagine, we have used many pool services. Arrow is the only one I will ever use now. My summer started out with my pump dying on me and it was the height of the pool opening season. But Arrow was still able to deploy a tech to replaced it and had the pool back up and running within 24 hours. They also solved several more problems this summer as the season went on. But what I would say the best thing about Arrow is the ease of doing business with them. Most of us are very busy and the more automated and hassle free the process is, the easy our lives are. With Arrow I can book an appointment on line or call and talk to a living human. Once the tech comes. you receive a report in your email and it gives you a status of your repair (in progress, completed, etc.) And the bill comes via email and you can pay online. And finally, it is a family owned business that takes pride in its work and service to their clients. You get the best of both worlds with Arrow, the ease of doing business thru technology (yet to see the big one's deploy this strategy) and the attention and care only a family business can deliver and do it for over 50 years! read more

We tried to use them to fix a problem and start weekly service. An appointment was made a week in advance and we were told that they would call early in the morning the day of the appointment to give a time. The day came and no call. When I called them, they said that some of the techs were sick and they had to reschedule for the next day and would call to give a time. The next day came and once again no call. I called them and they gave the same excuse and said that they would be out the next day. At that point I just cancelled everything - if they don't have enough consideration to call their customers when there are issues, they are not somebody I will do business with. read more

Ever since they did the pool opening, there has been one issue after another, and despite multiple visit calls, the problems were not resolved. Certified that our pool passed inspection when buying our house. Found SO many issues once we moved in. The day we moved in the pool had lost over 2 feet of water so we called them to come out. They charged us for the visit but did nothing because he didn't have the right supplies with him. Then charged us again to fix the problem. This company hires people that do not like their job, nor this company. We had one service person after the next not knowing what the prior service person did to our pool. Our chlorine levels went through the roof, and they claimed it to be normal...this was not the case when we got our water tested! Our pool was absolutely un-swimmable for weeks because of the shoddy service delivered by Arrow Pool. They lied about their service plan, and you can never get any follow-up from their main office. This company is totally out to lunch and ready to eat your hard earned money for their lunch! A word of warning...stay very far away from Arrow Pool! read more

I hired Arrow to close my pool in 2016. It was a half-assed job. I had to go behind them and finish the pop-up and anchor straps. When they opened the pool this year, it was even worse! They left 13 pop-up sticking out of the ground, and every one of the return jets needed adjusting. When I got the service receipt it showed that ALL the pop-ups were down and that ZERO were stuck. They serviced my booster pump over the winter and they returned it missing part! When I contacted them I was told there were too many pop-up for the tech to finish. They then sent a second tech out who did nothing more than spray them with a lubricant, waited a few minutes and then screwed them down. I was charged for labor for them to return and finish what should have been done at the opening. I guess they are unfamiliar with multi-tasking. They must make their money ripping off their customers. They will not be closing my pool this year. read more
