Thursday came and we didn't hear back, so I texted to see if there were any updates on when they could come out. Things there were crazy and they hoped the first part of the next week would work out. Midweek, Wednesday, came and still no update as to when a service person could appear. So today we found a different company to provide the service - scheduled for Monday. In summation, we were very disappointed in not being scheduled or something, to have someone look at it. It literally would have taken probably five minutes to determine if repair or replacement was needed. They may be a wonderful company that provides excellent service, but we'll never know because they couldn't provide a day/time to so so. Thus, do not take our review, in any manner, regarding the quality of their work.

Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. Now here we are in April 2026 my sub pump failed again. I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!

They did a great job starting with the salesperson Jim. Because I was working with my home…read morewarranty company, the process was a pain and a few contractors disregarded me for that reason. Jim was very thorough during the sales process and reassured me he would do whatever was necessary to work with the warranty company. He followed through with his promise and even negotiated double the reimbursement from the warranty company than another contractor had. I know it was time consuming for him but he never complained. Two other contractors I had out previously, continually expressed their dislike for working with warranty companies. Although I understand the difficulty, I found their complaining very unprofessional. After the sales process I called Ber's to compliment Jim and the owner himself called me back to tell me he was grateful for the feedback. The installation process was smooth, the communication was clear and timely. They were very clean, using tarps to cover their entire walkway throughout my house. The job site inside and out was left spotless. They completed the work sooner than projected. Overall it was a great experience and their price was right in line with the market. Ber's came highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them.

They did so and charged us $625. $200 more than our regular plumber. And no senior discount. On Saturday, the drains started popping and gurgling again. When I called on Sunday, I was told that they would call me back on Monday morning and the work should be warranted. I ended up calling them on Monday because I didn't hear back from them. I was told they did not warrant their sewer work and they would charge us another $425! A company that doesn't stand behind their work is not trustworthy. We are senior citizens and need our water! We cannot flush the toilets without severe gurgling in the drains. We can't shower without the toilets gurgling. We have to call another plumber because I will not give these people any more money, especially if they won't warranty their work!
