We just had our AC installed and we wanted to get insulation added in order to keep our energy bills on the lower side. I reached out to Colorado Eco Insulation for a quote and they were super quick to respond and came to check out our house within a day. They were very knowledgeable and transparent with needs and recommendations and we were easily sold on their service. We booked them about an hour after getting our formal quote and scheduled the installation for 3 days later. The guys were on time, they were very polite, they were super clean and worked so fast! Pricing was competitive and they offered to price matching should we find another company that we liked. Other companies, however did not offer as many services for the amount that we paid. Guardian is also filing our upgrade with Xcel energy so that we get all the offered rebates that we don't have to do that ourselves, which is definitely a nice touch. The installers arrived in a timely manner, and were done within one day with a job that was estimated to take two. They also kept things tidey and cleaned up once finished. We also had a ton of questions and Brian, who helped us, was always able to reply and patiently explain things. He was incredibly flexible with planning to our unique situation, and was very knowledgeable. From the beginning, he gave us a bunch of literature, as well as testimonials, and a résumé for the company which definitely put us at ease at the level of experience that was held by Guardian. I also discovered that the technician moved my security camera from the window to a table without asking. This was captured on my security footage. When I raised these concerns with management, I felt they were dismissed. The manager told me he believed the technician's account over mine despite the video I provided. I also informed him that I intended to leave an online review. During our conversation, he responded by saying, "I'll sue you for defamation." And, " I can't wait to see everyone on Reddit laugh at you" That response made me question whether customers feel comfortable leaving honest negative reviews after receiving that kind of warning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage anyone hiring these contractors to have security cameras and to document the condition of their home before and after service. In my opinion, moving a customer's security camera without permission is a serious security concern. Xcel's website has a list of companies you should use I'll provide a list below. Now that it was a nursery for our baby boy we needed to do something about it. After trying a new vent and cellular shades I decided it was time to try to get the walls insulated, which felt like it would be a daunting (and expensive!) task. I called Phil from Arvada Insulation because I knew he was local to my neighborhood. Phil talked me through his process and my options to blow in insulation into the walls then scheduled a same day estimate. He was right on time for the estimate (though I almost napped through it) and throughly reviewed the room inside and out then provided my options and a hand-written estimate at a shocking reasonable price. I was hesitant about how my exterior brick/mortar would look following the project and Phil went the extra mile by showing me some other properties where he had done similar work and creating a new mortar sample just for me.
