Like a lot of home electrical work that is done sometimes, it will cause a GFI switch to activate, which happened in my garage. I lost all power in the garage. I called Alan; he asked me to check the GFI switches. I did locate the one that tripped. Just a little FYI: after the work is finished, have the installer check that the power has not been turned off by a GFI switch. :)

Beware of Pricing Changes and Misdiagnosed Equipment…read more A) Pricing inconsistency I was quoted $350 over the phone, but when the technician arrived, the price suddenly became $395. When I confronted them about the original quote, they quickly changed it back to $350. This made it feel like the pricing wasn't fixed or transparent, and that the final amount depended on whether the customer questioned it. B) Incorrect diagnosis of my garage opener The technician told me my garage door opener was "broken" because it was "missing the blue adjustment knobs." This was incorrect. My opener model by design has the adjustment screws inset inside the housing, not externally. The opener itself was fully functional. Because of this misdiagnosis, the technician claimed they "could not finish the job," specifically referring to the safety reverse feature, which they said could not be adjusted. The safety feature still does not work, and I now have to correct it myself. C) Lack of itemization on the invoice The invoice listed the entire spring replacement as labor, with no separate parts line. Because the springs were sold with a lifetime warranty, not itemizing the parts makes it unclear what portion of the charge was for labor versus the springs themselves. If the springs ever fail, this lack of transparency could leave me paying the full labor charge again, even though the springs should be covered. This felt misleading and not very customer‑friendly.

A+++ We needed a…read morecable repair. A tension cable was rubbing against its bracket and slowly filed it down without notice over years of opening and closing the garage. The tension from the spring ripped off the part of the bracket it was attached to causing the door to jam, not able to open or close. Fernando came by the same day when he said he would - within a couple of hours. He swapped out the bracket, lubed all the bearings on the tracks, re-tuned the tension spring above the door and lubed it, pretty much flushing it out after years of not being checked up on. He said he took his time to make sure the job was done right, which was evident to me as he walked me through the repairs, but to me, it was completed pretty quickly. Fernando also advised us on signs that would indicate a need for servicing, like a creaking, clicking tension spring; wheel bearings fumbling on the track; the opener motor laboring too hard to move the door. He also advised us on products we could purchase at the hardware store to maintain the life of our door components. When we initially spoke over the phone, Fernando gave me a fair, rough estimate of what I might expect depending on the extent of the repairs. Though he said it was a tougher job, he charged us what he quoted to me - a good value for a professional service. Beyond his professionalism and efficiency, Fernando is a friendly and helpful technician. We will definitely be calling on him for our garage door needs as well as recommending his services to our community.

I cannot write in words how thrilled we are to have hired this company. From my first contact with this company on Facebook, to my initial meetup, and updates in between (from 6/24-7/16) and finally install.... Everything was 100% AMAZING. Today, as I sit in my garage enjoying my new screen door, I cannot express how thankful I am to have added this to my home. My Laundry room is in my garage and without this screen door it used to get unbelievably hot. When I walked out this morning it was noticeably cooler. I chose white on white as white is a cooler color and matches the trim on my house. What can I say? The new screen door protects my puppy from excaping, keeps coyotes and other wandering animals out, (YES, We have coyotes!!!) gives me and my husband an added sense of security when we are hanging out in our garage. I also charge my Tesla in the garage and when it's hot I have to leave the garage door open. The screen door keeps everything out of plain view and still allows airflow, so that we can safely charge our car at night. Did I mention that it also reduces (if not eliminates) flying insects, spiders, roaches and debris from outside such as dust and things that blow around in the wind. So many benefits to this one product. The most important of all is naturally keeping my dog and grandchildren safe. If you want privacy, air flow, freedom to use your garage as living space, CONSIDER THIS SCREEN DOOR from CALI PROS by LIFESTYLE. It's made in America!!! We loved Jesse. She went above and beyond to install an amazing product. Financing was very attractive so we took advantage of that, too!
