There was one in Maine every bit as good. To be fair some states were just drive-through, but we tried coffee shops in all but 2 of those listed. This was a really great place. Quiet, brightly lit, nicely decorated. A quaint mix of old and new. Excellent coffee. Excellent pastries. Roomy enough on a weekday morning.

They have a private parking lot and a drive thru... however I recommend you dont drive thru. Nothing wrong with driving thru... its just the inside is so perfect and welcoming. They have friendly attentive staff and most of all, the way they present their baked goods and the quality of said baked goods is worth the steps inside. Everything is hand created there. Speaking of the food: The breakfast biscuit made on the herbed biscuit is a MUST get. If you don't get one and someone in your party does.. you "will" have food envy. Not even joking. It is that good. We surprised our friends at a dog show down the road ag the richland county fair with breakfast sandwiches and baked goods from Nickel and Bean and they multiple times brought up how good the sammie was. If you havent stopped in... go! Now!!!

We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an everything bagel to eat and a cappuccino and iced lavender latte to drink. The capp and latte were both excellent! The sandwich was good and the bagel was too but a little overpriced in my opinion...adding $1 for a smear of cream cheese on a $5 bagel was a bit much. All in all a good experience though and I would go back for coffee for sure. Thank you, Noddi's!

It's pretty small with only outside seating, essentially connected to a little gift/souvenir shop. Most of the tables were taken when we were there, but there were plenty of picnic tables at the part right across the street, so we just took our food there. I got one of their specialty drinks, which was a a matcha with coconut and oat milk. It was great! Matcha quality can vary depending on where you go, but I really enjoyed this. It wasn't too sweet, and the coconut flavor was really nice. I got. Cinnamon bagel with peanut butter for my breakfast, and they certainly did not skimp on the pb! So yummy. The bagel sandwich was also tasty, as was the caramel macchiato.

Yet, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with an at-home feeling cum small cafe decor. The tables are well spaced so that you don't have to weave your way through cramped quarters. The service is very friendly and efficient and the prices are pretty reasonable from my survey of the menu. I'm sure most people come in for the coffee and pastries. The sweet treats did look quite good and I have to say that my Americano was also very good. Their highlight seems to be their Saturday morning "colossal" cinnamon rolls (only offered Saturday after 9 AM if I understood correctly) that need to be pre-ordered if you want to be guaranteed to get your fill. However, we were there for lunch and that aspect of their offerings should not be overlooked. My wife had a Caprese Quiche which she enjoyed very much. It had pesto, mozzarella and tomatoes and was low carb (without crust). This was almost conceived for her it seemed because she loves anything that has the "caprese" combo. I had a Spicy Turkey Panini, which combined turkey, bacon, provolone, tomato and sriracha. It was accompanied by chips and a pickle spear making it a perfect lunch. Their facilities were comfortable and made a great place to sit and chill while my wife walked across the street to shop for a while. This was my first time in Fremont in quite a long time. I had visited the Hayes House about 20 or 25 years ago and have not been back to Fremont proper since then. This place will be on our radar and may induce us to veer into town center next time we are close.
