For drinks I had a lemonade (that was just ok...but I was so hot so I down it) and my friend ordered "La Tia", which just determined the size, and had a coconut marg. She loved it! We started off with the chips with guac and salsa, and man, was that guac hitting! The elote also came out to start, and I just LOVE when it's served "off the bone". Much quicker way to get in my mouth! It was delicious! Next came out our grilled chicken burrito. We decided to split one so we could also order the tacos we wanted. I'm know; genius, right!? That burrito was FANTASTIC. I was so happy they had a grilled chicken option, because I can't stand shredded chicken. It was our first night back in NY and we were all craving Mexican food. Our son recommended Arriba Arriba so we headed over to HK for a late dinner. In Thursday night the special drink offering was an extra shot of tequila in there marvelous margaritas. My son had the 27 oz and me being a lightweight had a 12 oz. They were great. We ordered a couple appetizers ( chips and salsa and a corn dish) and then our entrees. I had the regular chicken enchiladas and we also ordered the enchilada and with a green sauce , tacos and salads. Local neighborhood favorite with some of the best Mexican food. The hardshell tacos, which are fried with the fillings inside of it, are hands down my favorite items on the menu. They always come out smoking hot. Get the Al pastor. The cilantro rice and refried beans are great as well. Love the skinny margaritas. I need the recipe for their salsa! I don't know what's in the sauce but I would buy to take home and cook with or just dip tortilla chips in it as a snack. I ordered the enchilada suizas (recommended by waiter) with shrimp...it's a green sauce layered with cheese and with the refried beans and rice is perfection to the tastebuds. My friend ordered the carne asada and he said it was seasoned well and very tender. Of course we ordered frozen margaritas cuz it was 90 degrees today; watermelon and pineapple.
