Worst military move ever. Moved from DC to Florida, ARPIN was suppose to store HHG in Florida, however HHG still in DC almost 3 weeks later. Company has no clue what's is going on. IT takes several attempts to get someone to answer the phone when you FINALLY gets someone on the phone they place you on hold for 20 min at a time. If I could have given a zero I would. It was the worst experience in all of our 10 moves. DO NOT USE THEM if you can do anything else do. Driver showed up from Las Vegas and said he fell off a ladder. He had both eyes black and full of blood. I think they spent more time having smoke breaks and on their phones than packing our shipment. Driver said we had 2500 more pounds then they had estimated. Then started telling us that he did not have room on his truck. Had the same experience as others with them writing that everything was scratched or damaged. Now on to delivery. We requested delivery and were confirmed, then nothing. So we call the day before and they say "no your not on the list." We explain who we talk to and they say okay they will be there between 8-10. Then they call at 9 and say they are loading our stuff and will be on the way. This happened until after 4pm. Finally the truck shows up at 5:35 at night. We talk to the inspector and are instructed to let them stay to unload or they do not have to come back. The first thing off of the truck is broken, and it went downhill from there. Items that left our home in California were ripped apart (no exaggeration), taken apart (who knows where the parts went) and boxes that were sealed by the company that packed our stuff had obviously been opened and resealed. This went on till well past 11pm. We are now looking at 10 plus missing items, and close to 100 broken items, including both of my kid's beds. They were going to return to assemble the things taken apart and unpack. Have heard nothing, not a word from them. The claim has been sent in, but at this point I am not very hopeful. read more

This is our 7th out of state move and we have never had such a horrible experience! They came on a Monday and packed up our kitchen. They didn't show up again until Thursday then rushed to pack our house. When the truck arrived in Minnesota the driver said it was so poorly packed they had to leave half of our stuff in CA. No one bothered to call and let us know. By the time our stuff arrives it will be 2 weeks late! We are basically camping in our house. What did arrive was mislabeled and several broken items. Our coordinator was Holly and when things went wrong she said she isn't our coordinator and just stopped calling us! Save yourself a headache and find a reliable company. read more

We had 12+ boxes lost, serious irreparable damage, and they took no responsibility. Arpin Van Lines was contracted by the Army to move us as our final move after a 26+ year military career. The movers hired were DAY WORKERS with little to no prior experience, at their own admission. These men had access to 100% of our belongings without a background check. They damaged furniture, shoving dressers through door frames, rather than remove the doors, ripped off a dresser leg, and dropped a Sleeper Sofa out of the back of the moving truck, causing irreparable damages. Our goods were stored in their warehouse before delivery. Once delivered there were over a dozen missing boxes. Now, during the claims process, they're denying a fair settlement and low-balling the offers. I know, there's always another side to every story. Incinerated. Everything lost. On October 1, 2013, I received a call from our local mover, relaying news from Arpin that a van carrying our possessions (and those of four other customers) on a national move caught fire and was totally destroyed. According to a MIssouri State Trooper report I obtained, there was no clear cause of fire (e.g., no collision; road and weather conditions good). Most importantly, the driver and his daughter were not injured. The report cited vehicle maintenance as a possible contributing cause of the fire. To you, the reader, I write with several thoughts in mind. First, without a national data base documenting these catastrophes, consumers won't know how often these disasters happen -- they are rare but do occur -- and with which moving companies they occur. Second, you must think the unthinkable and estimate the replacement value of your possessions -- with the possibility of a total loss in mind. Our mistake; we were only 50% insured as it never occurred to me that an entirety of possessions -- from obviously valuable items to everyday knick-knacks would be lost. Third, ask a van line with which you might do business what protections are in place in the event of a catastrophic loss. Cite this report in saying that this does happen. Arpin handled our insurance claim promptly, with compassion, and without question, but there didn't seem to be any policy in place to mitigate the damage you experience when a catastrophic event like this happens, other than discharging legal responsibility to issue an insurance payout. For instance, I asked without success about the possibility of of additional, modest compensation (in recognition of future time lost to reassemble a household and additional costs incurred when your possessions don't arrive). In other circumstances, an offer to provide a second shipment if there are still items to be moved would signal a pro-active business response to a disaster that occurs under a company's watch. Consumer, be informed. You must know, estimate, and ask before making a move. read more

Terrible.... Military relocation- was assigned this moving company. Contract states they would pack and move us on the 29th and 30th. Here it is the 30th and no packers or movers. Had to cancel hotels and travel reservations because of this company. Worst part, we had called them 4 times throughout the week and was old every time "we will call you back". Not once received a call back. Apparently they are stressed because they are so busy (then don't agree to additional contracts!!!!) woman told me though that thy probably wouldn't get to me today but would call back. So they PROMISED to call first thing this morning with an update... Crickets. Do not use these movers. Their customer service is terrible, they are not true to their word and they really seem to have no clue as to where their drivers are. I'm a reasonable person, at least call me and say you can't do something instead of us pulling for the information. ***UPDATE*** The 30th came and went without even a phone call. No movers and no explanation. We have to now wait for a new moving company to pick up our stuff and this will take an extra week. In the military, time is very precious since family is not close. Instead of spending a week with my family which I rarely see, I'm spending it in limbo waiting to see when my house will be moved. Epic failure. Second update. Tried making contact with the company. The military service line rings and the voicemail is full so you cannot leave message. Spoke to two other random people and was promised a call back. Three weeks later still nothing. Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these guys thanks to an Air Force / DOD move. Arpin has some of the worst customer service in my 15 years of DoD moves ever experienced. They missed the pick up date, never called to tell me.. Showed up to pack with not enough man-power and 2 dudes both 65 yrs old +. The packers had to call for some local help and pay them with cash... Hello!?!?!!? Talk about getting screwed by your own company... Deliver was a joke... our stuff was moved from NY to FL and somehow most of our stuff made it that distance in tact. However, I couldn't locate our stuff when I called for delivery. I had to call no less than 5 different companies to find out if they had my stuff. Upon delivery,,, I noticed immediately that my new 55" Samsung LED tv was not present. I claimed that right away. However, I didn't have the movers unpack my stuff as I wanted to take my time doing it and not have a house full of unpacked stuff laying around. During this process I have discovered many other thigns that are broke or missing completely. I filed my claim as I was supposed to do, amounted to almost 10,000 in damages... Arpins offer of 1400 bucks was supposed to cover this much damage and replace my items... yeah okay. Arpin employee's are criminal and negligent. Do yourself a favor and if you have the choice DO NOT accept the offer to have them move your stuff. The DoD has contracts with every major moving company in this country... Have them send someone else. I repeat DO NOT USE ARPIN or be prepared for massive problems throughout the whole process. Funny how most of the 1 star reviews...are from DoD customers... Moved from California to Virginia with very little notice (about 3 weeks) for my husband's new job. Mike handled our move right away, provided his personal cell number and was very communicative. He was able to keep the estimate under our budget. Our drivers were very courteous and handled our things well (mostly boxes and one vehicle). They arrived a couple days later than expected but this wasn't a problem for us and there had been inclement weather in the area - the delay was well communicated by the drivers. The drivers delivered our things directly to the door despite the very long, tricky driveway. Our things are in good condition and the drivers took their time with me to catalog the boxes upon arrival. Car was in good condition and the driver noted to me that the check engine lights had come on when he removed the vehicle from the truck (this was an existing problem so not at all their fault, and it was nice of them to note it to me). Estimate was accurate. All in all a very nice experience. I am mostly finished unpacking our things and so far nothing out of place or broken. Thank you! read more

We received many items scratched and/or broken. I expect that when using a moving company as they have no personal connection to your things or their value. What bothered me about this company, was finding two pairs of soiled men's underwear packed into my china bowl. In addition, not receiving a hand painted decorative table which went missing. They are contracted with Priority Moving. *When they took inventory, they did not write what was and was not scratched or damaged. Upon delivery, they provided me with a clean typed inventory that stated all our things were scratched, marred, or badly worn. I strongly believe they scratched some of our items and altered the inventory to cover themselves. Some of our things were new. *There is a lack of communication *Lie about delivery window (please see other reviews,mostly those not recommended) *No one know how to get a hold of the driver and cannot call dispatch directly. Can't they radio him? *It takes days for them to relay information after customer initial contact. *The lack of accountability of the driver is why customer things end up missing. *They take on other contracts after customer pick up which is why they do not make there delivery window. *I asked for a discount since they booked other customers after my pickup, which made my delivery a week late and they said they do not do refunds *The driver did not set up all our stuff because he said "I do not know how" *He did not do the inventory with me, but rather by himself *Our stuff was damaged and they went through boxes and combined some of our stuff *They disassembled our stuff (that was whole when picked up) and did not reassemble it Unfortunately, I did not do my homework as I usually do prior to signing a contract. That was the biggest mistake and has cause much headache and stress. I had someone come out and do a home estimate. The person was friendly and professional. The gentleman Don was eager to get our business. They even lowered the price by applying a bunch of discounts. Because this was a personal move without the military, we were looking for something cheap, but *remember* you get what you pay for. Prior to pick up, I notified Priority I needed an extra stop and was told to talk to the driver. On the day of pick up, a driver arrived (I never received prior notification as to when they would be coming) and took inventory and loaded our things. He was not friendly at all. I notified him of the extra stop and I was told I would be contacted by the driver who would be actually handling our furniture. I never received the weight of the furniture until the 3rd day. I actually had to call Ms. Christina. She said she had to get back to me (which is a way too common phrase. My items were picked up on April 11th and I was given a delivery time frame of April 13 and April 21. In between that I had not heard from anyone and called Christina to find out about delivery. She has no clue where the driver was. It took a day or two to get back to me about our shipment. I was told the driver was a week behind schedule and my things would not be delivered until April 28th. No one bothered to contact me about the delay and no one had information when I kept calling. I got tired of going through the middle man and asked for Arpin Van Lines contact. I talked to Chris out of headquarters and he was not able to get information. On April 22nd I was contacted to say my things would be delivered on the 26th. On the 25th I called to confirm things were still on schedule and Arpin had no clue where the driver is and she would have to get back to me. have only move with one other company (United Van Lines). I had a couple things missing, but I ALWAYS had communication with the drive via his cell phone and things were always delivered within 2-3 days. For the people that work at Priority and Arpin Van Line, you should be ashamed to work for such a poor and irresponsible company read more

I just used Arpin to move from the east coast to the west coast. I had a fantastic experience with them. This is the first time I'd ever used a moving company. I was leary because of the bad reviews, but I'm glad I chose to ignore them. Everyone I worked with was friendly and professional. Never use Arpin Van Lines! They ruined my 125-year old wicker furniture. Background: I have a valuable antique wicker collection. Before moving, I had one of the country's foremost wicker experts examine the pieces to note items that could be safely moved and those that needed restoration. We selected 10 pieces in excellent condition for shipment with Arpin and held back five that needed work. I explained the need for special care to the Arpin sales rep; their shipping coordinator (I went to their office to stress this); the packers; and the driver. I further listed the items on Arpin's form entitled: "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration." The pieces arrived at my new home 25 days after they shipped. Half of them were damaged. I filed a claim. Movers Settlement Group, Ltd., (Arpin's captive insurance company) sent an adjustor to look at the damage. At this meeting, I showed the adjustor four or five books on antique wicker naming pieces like mine as deserving "extra consideration as an investment." The books also named my dealer and the person who restored my collection as a leading expert in the field. Arpin's privately owned insurance company denied 83% of my claim for damages. Their reason: Only parts of the pieces were damaged and they are "not liable for the complete restoration of the article." Here is the problem: To repair investment quality antique wicker, you have to strip the pieces, replace and reweave cane, prime them, and repaint them. You must do this to the entire piece not just a broken arm otherwise the finish does not match. Bottom Line: Arpin denied the obvious damage and any responsibility for it (Remember, these pieces were pre-inspected before shipping and I went to their headquarters to underscore the care and attention they required). Moved from Chicago, had Arpin hold our items, our life really until we sorted out our new housing situation and city, 3 months. Realizing things were missing months later and sending in the requisite paperwork they offered me $36 for a $500 bike rack.. based on the $0.60 value per pound. Yes, paperwork was signed so they are no longer liable for anything this just adds to the sting of a price that was promised not to increase..... extremely disappointing. As a company I'm sure it absolves Arpin of exponential liability in doing their jobs correctly, which they haven't and by a lot of reviews I read I wish I would've done more homework on my choice of moving companies. I'll be sure to not utilize Arpin again and recommend to anyone that wants to listen not to use Arpin either, unless of course they want to be upcharged and not receive all of their moved items. I fail to understand how you put things in a truck, take them to storage, put them back in a truck, things go missing and Arpin takes no responsibility. Disappointing is putting things lightly. And with the cost of arbitration I may as well just spend my money on a new rack, so that's conveniently not an option. read more

We moved from Massachusetts to Ontario six years ago and Arpin was our mover. I will say the people who packed our house in Massachusetts were great. However, on the Canadian side it was an unmitigated disaster. I can't prove the movers stole my wife's wedding ring. But prior to the movers entering the house, my wife put the wedding ring in the medicine cabinet. Immediately after the movers left, she went to the medicine cabinet to get her ring and it was gone. Calls to Arpin were met with complete denial that their people (apparently contractors because they didn't know who they were until they contacted the truck driver) would have taken the ring. The Canadian movers were really anxious to get out of the house. They didn't finish setting things up. We now think we know why. Of course Arpin denied everything and I can't prove anything, so I can't say for sure what happened. But I can say the wedding ring never turned up. It was there before the movers entered the house and it was gone as soon as they left. Arpin claims we must have lost it. I can't prove otherwise. But I know for sure where we put it. It wasn't lost. It just seems to have disappeared sometime between the time the movers came to our house and the time they left. read more

I waited for the final insurance claim to settle to write a review. Last June Arpin moved us Providence to Sarasota. We paid 12k for-the worst experience ever. The supervisor was arrogant and could not stop boasting about how great he was. He marked all our furniture as damaged so Arpin would not be responsible for anything. Be careful when you review your inventory online! very few things were specially packaged by the Arpin Superman, and ironically a good 40% of what he did got damaged. When furniture arrived, Arpin hired people off the street to unload furniture. They gave them T-shirt with company logo to look professional but that did not work. They must have been paid by the job because they did such a lousy job at unloading truck. Once they were done, the storage unit looked like there had been an earthquake. I have moved over a dozen times and cross country and have never experienced such poor service as Arpin Van Lines. Arpin affiliate Chas Wood in NY not only broke items, they also stole artwork. I had full insurance coverage and filed my paperwork with Arpin corporate. They claimed the items did not exist because I had signed that all boxes arrived. This is irrelevant because items were missing from boxes. Do you unpack all of your boxes while the mover is present? To add insult to injury they only communicate your claim via regular mail and the truck that delivered my belongings took pictures to send to their boss, because items were packed so poorly. If you are assigned Arpin for your PCS, refuse them! My experience with them was awful, from start to finish. The driver (hi Tom Olson) falsely noted that all of my larger and medium sized items had extensive damage on all visible surfaces (scratches, dents, gouges, rubbing, loose and chipped). Upon arrival, most of these "damages" were nowhere to be seen. And lo and behold, when he crashed the truck and there were thousands of dollars in damages, I had issues with the claims process. I took pictures on the morning of the move and they clearly show the lack of damages, but Arpin (/their insurance company) stands by the excessive damage noted on the inventory. It was my first PCS, was overwhelmed by the process, and I stupidly believed he was honest when explaining it to me. I realize this one was my mistake. Do not trust them. Double check all damages and make sure they are 100% correct. They will scam you. Not only that, but the quality of the move was terrible. All of my boxes looked like they were dumped off the truck and used as furniture on the side of the road. Several of my boxes were completely busted open and the contents pulled out. Most were dented, dirty and ripped. I found a Fisher Price plastic cow in the middle of one of my busted boxes, which wasn't mine. I know that it wasn't in the box when I gave it to them and everything was shuffled around. So safe to assume that the box broke open along with someone else's box, and they just shoveled contents back into random boxes. Who knows what else I'm missing. Their communication is a joke (which I can see, from the other reviews, has been a problem for a long time), both with clients and within their company. They lowered my quoted weight by 2,000 lbs without notice, so the driver didn't have enough boxes or packing materials. Many times I was told I would be given a call back and then never heard from them again. No one could give me an ETA (or even ballpark guess) and they missed the delivery date. Then the truck showed up without warning, after they swore the truck wouldn't arrive that day. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and TMO office. This company is deceptive, careless, and overall miserable to deal with. If you value your sanity, avoid them at all costs. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! These people did a military move for me. half of my tables showed up with gouges in them, a knob just completely missing off of my entertainment center ( how do you lose a knob thats mounted to a door???). when the movers showed up, they told my wife as they bring in boxes and furniture that that will call out inventory numbers to her, when she hears these numbers, mark it off on the inventory sheet. they called off all the numbers on the sheet finished up and left. come to find out, my golf clubs were never brought in. how do you have an inventory number for an item you didn't deliver??? we called to set up a claim. We were told that if this is our first move with them, we have to file the claim online and just follow the instructions. The old a$$ software required to get your computer to work with this claims site is damn near non existent. We called multiple times to try and get them to do our claim over the phone only to hear the same response, "you have to file it online" even though our computers don't work on their site. We finally found an old school computer at my wife's work that had this outdated software and got the claim in. the claim went through on day 76 after the move, guess what!!!! you have to submit your claim in 75 days or less so we instantly received a letter saying that they are not liable for my lost golf clubs. These people are shady, have no customer service skills. WILL NOT return any emails or calls. they're probably too busy sitting on the greens with my golf clubs strapped to the back of their golf cart. read more

We hired Arpin Van Lines for our move on 5/31/13 from PA to AZ. WE signed our agreement a month and a half earlier for our date. They came on 5/31/13 as scheduled. Today is 6/10/13 and our furniture is still on the PA warehouse. They promised delivery from 6/4/13 to 6/13/13. As of 6/13/13, The contract will be breached. I have contacted them everyday since last Monday 6/3 and they have not picked up our furniture. I spoke with them today early, they advised me they would call me this morning when the truck was being loaded. No phone call. I called them back this afternoon and now they are telling me that it will now be delivered sometime around 6/18/13. This is very unacceptable. We are sleeping on Air mattresses in the apartment till we get our things. WE start jobs 6/17/13 and will now have no clothes. Spoke with the Director of Customer Service with Arpin Van Lines all all he gave me were I'm Sorry and Unfortunately answers. I will NEVER EVER use this company again. If I could negative stars I would. So frustrated with this company. When I got the estimate my stuff was supposed to come this Sunday. Later that got moved to "between Sunday and Wednesday." When the driver picked up my stuff suddenly it was Friday. Now, today, it's moved to Saturday, the day I am supposed to leave for the holidays. If anyone had warned me about this, I would have had an earlier pick-up date, but I was discouraged from doing that by the company rep who said then my stuff would come too early. Thanks for messing up my holidays to make a little more money to squeeze someone else's stuff on your truck! This company is the worst. They gave us a 2 week window and then were a week late beyond that. When they finally arrived much of our furniture was damaged, which was not surprising after I watched the way they handled our belongings. Nothing was wrapped in any kind of protective padding. I watched them set our couch down sideways directly on a dirty New York City sidewalk. Our dining room table had multiple chips and scratches. Many items were damaged and whole boxes missing. The bill was over $2000 more than the "estimate." I submitted a request for compensation for all the damage they did. Every single claim was denied with explanations that made no sense. My mistake for not doing that before I moved. How late you were is not the point. The driver falsely listed nearly EVERY as being damaged prior to transport which I didn't realize until they were long gone. This is mostly the rational you used to discredit my claims. This goes beyond poor customer service to fraud. This obviously is not an isolated incident- you can refer to the review on the BBB by Kristin W on 7/29/15. As far as the estimate- this is your job as professionals. Charging over $6000 when the estimate was around $4000 is unacceptable, plain and simple. The communication at almost every step was poor to non-existent. Instead of spending money on damage control PR people perhaps you should stop systematically taking advantage of your customers. read more

Consultant was very friendly in the beginning, unresponsive in the middle, and spotty in the end. The packers were good, and the movers were good. The driver is what made this experience a bad one. He was late by one day picking up and one day dropping off, which could be worse. He hung up on me when I insisted he show up on time. He even told me I was costing him money when I asked him to unwrap the boxes. See , the driver gets paid and then he hires movers to handle your gear. He tried to sneak out without putting the furniture back together or taking anything out of the boxes! Remember if you're doing a military move, they have to do that stuff! Otherwise you will spend days trying to put all the hex screws back into every furniture you own and you'll have a hell of a time figuring out how to get rid of tons of wrapping and boxes. Overall I'm just glad it's done, and given the choice would definitely not use Arpin again. read more

I won't even talk about how the drivers on both ends were late/outside of their delivery windows because that is only a minor annoyance compared to the utter lack of care and reject for my belongings. As professional movers, my stuff was just haphazardly thrown into box, in worse condition than when it started. Most of my furniture is damaged or scratched or dirtied in some way. The time and effort it is going to take far exceeds the time saved by having these movers. For the exorbitant price they charged ($5000), the level of service and attention is abysmal. This is the 2nd time we used this company. On the prior occasion there were no issues and we were very satisfied with our experience. However on this recent move we experienced many issues. Everything thing was fine leading up to the move, the man who came to our home to give us the quote was professional and through in explaining the procedures. The moving coordinator in the office was courteous and responsive in answering questions we had. However on the day of the actual move it was all downhill. The crew wrapped none of our furniture and as a result there was damage not only to the furniture but to the newly painted walls in our home. The crew leader acknowledged the damage and took pictures. We were told someone would be coming to our home within 2 days. After hearing nothing we contacted Arpin and was informed that we had to submit a written claim ( we did purchase their insurance). After 2 weeks of silence, I contacted Arpin today and was told someone would be contacting us by the end of next week. 7 more days! When we engaged Arpin we were told by the salesman that they were the most expensive mover in RI but absolutely the best. I can attest that the first part is true! read more

Quoted a not to exceed rate. Ended up having to pay over $400 more than we were quoted. I was made to sign numerous additional documents at the time of loading and was never provided copies or that there would be additional fees. They held our belongings hostage at the time of delivery until I paid the new additional total fees. When they packed us out, they were confused amongst themselves. They were to have one group pack what little we didn't pack, and the next day send the truck to be loaded. Art boxes were just boxes cut wrapped and taped around all our artwork. I would not use them, or refer them to anyone. This is not how you do business. read more

We hired Arpin Van Lines to move us from Rochester, NY to Raleigh, NC. Our move took place in November of 2011. Jim did our estimate and also had a lot of valuable advice about packing. Ask about free used boxes. We had a unique pickup/delivery timeline and they were able to accomodate us. They arrived on time for the move and held our belongings for a week (per our request because we were not able to move into our new home yet) before delivering them on time to Raleigh. The movers were friendly and professional. They were even patient with us when we were trying to decide the best setup for our living room. We would definitely use Arpin again. read more

We had a horrible experience with Arpin which was used by Star International. They moved oriental rugs, three pieces of furniture, and a lamp. One antique chest was literally shattered and everything else was damaged. The lamp needs to be thrown out, too. If you use them, be sure to take the insurance. I would not recommend them. read more

I am with other reviewers. If I could give them a negative, I would. They are absolutely horrible. This was our second long move and the worst experience of my life. They do not practice customer service at all. They do not call you to discuss your issues after they have their money. They misquote you in the beginning. The crews do not care about your belongings. They call them "crap." They act as if they care in the beginning, but when you actually get down to the end and wrapping it up, they are not able to assist you. They do not work with you. I tried to call the owners of the company and do not get a response. Our move for a very large move for them. We had very many problems and nobody can call us to discuss. I would stay far far away. We had an excellent experience with United Van Lines. They were easy worry free moving. When we move again, that is the company I will choose. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before hiring Arpin for our move from San Diego to NJ. We were assured when our goods were picked up on May 30th they had a driver scheduled and our items would be shipped directly to NJ arriving no later than the 14th. It is now June 11 th and our items our sitting somewhere in a warehouse in San Diego with no scheduled departure date!!! As other reviewers said, the worst part is Arpin could care less. There is no management team to escalate your concerns too and Arpin knows it. When I questioned how they could operate this way, their employees told me it was basically pathetic and they agreed it was terrible customer service. Furthermore, I have a special needs son and his medical equipment is on this shipment and the Arpin rep in San Diego knew this and still lied to us about the estimated delivery time. There are plenty of reliable, honest moving companies out there, I strongly suggest you look elsewherre and don't waste your time and money with Arpin. read more

We have been dealing with this company now for over a week! First pick up date was for today! Then they called and said couldn't pick up until the 1st of June2015! Explained to Wookie, the person we are dealing with, that this house is sold and we have to be out no later then the 31st of May 2015! Received a last minute call today telling us that the truck broke done and now they can't come until the 31st! Now the buyers of this house want to back out and the owners have to fork up almost $7000 if they cannot have the buyers finial walk thru by 8:00 on 6-01-2015! We are a military family here at Fort Riley KS and this has been the most horrific experience we have ever had and they haven't even come to get our stuff yet! The simply answer of we are sorry there is nothing that can be done is not good enough now I just received a call from the local packers stating he called the driver Brian and was told that he had an email conformation from Pam stating they would pick up on Sunday May 31st! Now I'm asking, but I thought his truck broke down! There will defiantly be IG complaints made by U.S. And several other military families to have this company banned from doing business with the military! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY!!! read more

We used Arpin for a move from RI to TN. After reading so any bad reviews, we were nervous about trusting our move to a moving company. We were pleasantly surprised. The estimate was on point, the move was timely, and all of our belongings arrived in the same condition as when they went on the truck. There were a few issues with the movers assembling furniture incorrectly and putting things in the wrong places in our house, but no big deal. All in all, we were very happy with Arpin handling our move. read more

I can not stress enough that you should NOT use this company I am trying to move from nc to md and this is a military move this company was assigned to us. They were supposed to pack our belongings June 26 and 27 and move our belongings today to Maryland. As of today, no one has been here to pack our belongings never mind move them. After repeated calls to arpin and likied they are unable to locate our driver....not helpful and I am very concerned regarding how the rest of this experience will be, I have already l notified the military base to let them know and I very much stress that they should not use arpin to move any of their military families ever. read more
