The air conditioning inside was super welcoming but the pizza reminded me of the frozen tv dinner you would find underneath the freezer burnt peas and year old beef in the freezer. This was my first time here and I was not at all impressed. I went on a Friday night around 8 PM. The first bad sign was that the place was deserted but I had read a lot of good reviews so decided to give it a try. When I walked in there wasn't even that wonderful pizza smell in the air. A person waiting on me did not seem to enjoy their job. I am not over exaggerating, but this was possibly one of the worst peters I have ever eaten. It had no flavor at all. Let me start first by saying our delivery driver was very accommodating, so none of this is on him. We ordered delivery, which is a high 25$ minimum, just a medium half pepperoni pizza and a few other sides to get to the minimum. The pizza did arrive quickly but it was not good. There was almost no sauce, the cheese was thick and did not taste like a good quality, nothing was really melted and it was so soggy you couldn't pick it up. It was so bad we just wanted to return it all and get our money back. The manager, which is who I assume we spoke to on the phone didn't really seem to care much about what happened and only refunded us for the pizza even though we didn't want anything. We really enjoyed our meal and friendly, down to earth staff. We had pizza, calzone and lobster ravioli. The ravioli came with a salad with fresh mozzarella. It was delicious. Me and my fiancé went in about two hours before they closed and they weren't busy, we sat down and the girl behind the counter was not wearing a mask, she was taking a togo order and said give her just a second so i didn't mind waiting, but as she finished up with that order we were continually ignored for about 20 minutes, there were several guests that came and sat and were immediately helped, they were in and out before we even got drinks, as were the togo orders, after about 30 minutes in total of being ignored she finally came over and got our drinks and order, we got one pizza, a salad and some fries the salad and fries came out fast but they were not good as all the fries tasted old and the lettuce was browning, and after 45 minutes we decided to just cancel the pizza and paid for our salad drinks and fries, don't waste your money here it's definitely not worth it. read more

Just ordered here for the first time and it was delicious! Got my food delivered pretty quick as well. We ordered a cheese calzone, steak calzone, and 2 White pizzas, along with garlic bread. Nice, small pizza place. The only thing to get here is the Stromboli. Its awesome. The pizza however blows. The pepperoni pizza is full of greese and it soaks into the crust making a yucky mess. The cheese pizza has so little cheese its like super dry toast with a small sprinkle of overcooked cheese. Again the Stromboli is worth going for, its the best Ive ever had. Aron's has a lot of potential as a great lunch spot, but suffers from consistent bad service. I work nearby and my coworkers and I eat here at least once a week. The lunch special is a great deal: two slices of cheese pizza and a drink for under $5. The pizza is usually great, and I've also been impressed by their salads. Unfortunately, the service has been so consistently awful that i've decided to stop going. The same waitress is usually there, and takes care of all of the tables. It's usually not overly crowded, and though she recognizes us enough to remember our drink orders, she's never smiled or greeted us. When asked for silverware or other basic items, she walks by and flings them onto the table. When one of my coworkers found hair in her food (this has happened more than once), the waitress laughed, and did not apologize. The final straw for me came when there was clearly a problem with the soda machine. We told her that all of out drinks were flat and syrupy, and she responded, "you're the first ones to complain about it, but I'll check on it." She never replaced our drinks and disappeared to the back of the restaurant. A coworker asked the man working the counter what was going on with the drink machine, and he responded, "it's fixed. If you want refills ask the waitress." Once we finally found her, she replaced some of our drinks, only for those of us who asked her personally. By this point we were finished eating and had to return to work. I won't be returning to Aron's, which is a shame, since Orange Park has so few good, quick lunch options. read more

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever had! Spoke with the owner on the phone about an order for my daughters school. Since the school no longer used the restaurant for their lunch orders he did not want to deliver pizzas. Owners tone of voice and shortness actually caused me laugh because it was beyond ridiculous. One of my favorites is eggplant parmesan and she likes parmesan chicken pesto on penne. Both dishes were above our expectations. Best New York thin crust pizza I've had in a while. Traveling through town on business & called in an order late around closing time. I didn't realize it until I arrived and walked into an empty place. The staff was extremely pleasant but I felt I may have made a poor dining decision. I was wrong!!! This is my favorite place to eat. I order the shrimp poppers and cheese calzone with extra ricotta cheese everytime. Since moving to the other side of town, I don't get there as often as I would like but I am always sure to recommmend Aron's Pizza to everyone I know.
