I booked Joseph online because a student of mine (super cute old lady) needed her baby grand a good tuning. She told me he did a great job and he was very professional and well mannered. I will definitely recommend him to my other students and will call him soon to tune my piano as well. Thank you Joseph! read more

I've been using Arolla Piano for many years and have always been so appreciative of their services. My piano is an old upright, and it definitely has its idiosyncrasies, but any tuning as well as any repair work has always been done promptly and expertly. read more

Isaac came and tuned my baby grand, which oddly had drifted way out it tune from a prior timing from someone else just a few months ago. Isaac was fast but meticulous and my piano has never sounded so good. I could have listened to him play for hours, though I only got to hear him as he was verifying his tuning. Great guy, great experience. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. read more

These guys were wonderful for scheduling with. I'd used them before under a different name and they were great then too. Julia (Bronze) was right on time, super professional, kept to the two allotted hours to tune my piano, and now it sounds great. I couldn't recommend more highly. A great value. Wonderful to hear the sounds of a piano being tuned in your house, also. read more

Arolla Piano Co. - Piano Services Near Me

Joey did an outstanding job reviving my piano. I had picked up an old piano, many keys were broken, and it was in overall bad shape. I was unaware until Joey disassembled the piano, that there were dead insects and debris under the keys. Joey cleaned the piano, lubricated the keys, and systematically put them back one key at a time. He totally revived my piano. It went from something that looked awful and beat up, to something that is now decent and can play good music. I can see his passion and love for his line of work in the care of my piano. Highly recommended! read more

Professional and easy to use. Arolla technicians have been tuning my Petrof upright for over 10 years. all the tuners are well trained and do terrific work. read more

I highly recommend Arolla piano. My piano sounds great and the technician was professional and informative.

This is the 3rd piano tuning that I have had Arolla Piano Co. do. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome each time. Maybe it's the dryness of Tucson, maybe it's just my 2nd hand piano, but a few keys just don't seem to want to stay within pitch. Having Issac come out every 6 months does the trick. He is friendly, professional, and very talented. He is even so nice to my 3 rather yappy dogs. Issac noticed a problem with my piano, explained it to me, and fixed it on the spot. No need for another appointment. After he left, I sat down and played-it was wonderful. I strongly recommend Arolla, to anyone, for a great experience. read more

Trevon from Arolla Piano Co. provided excellent service tuning my Yamaha Upright piano. I would definitely hire him again!

Very professional service. The website is easy to use, and the tuners I've met have been terrific.

Great experience. Julie came to tune our old piano which had not been tuned in over a year. It sounds great now. Will use again!

I just hire them to hear them play amazingly on my piano when they are finished! Truly they are all super nice and professional and SKILLED.

Whether you have a high-quality instrument that requires an expert hand, or an older piano in need of some TLC, you can't do better than Isaac. He has been working on my instruments for a few years now, and I trust his judgment and his work ethic absolutely.Plus, he's friendly and personable, which, as anyone who has owned a piano knows, are extremely rare qualities in a piano technician, especially a good one. Look, you're on Yelp because you want reasonable rates for top-notch service. You found it, look no further! read more

Easy to schedule appt using their online calendar. Joey was prompt, courteous and efficient with his time. After a big interstate move our upright piano needed some basic tuning and, after inspection, some minor tweaks here and there. Now it sounds great and we found Orpheus to be good at what they do and fairly priced. Will definitely use them again. read more

We have a Yamaha baby grand which we bought from a neighbor more than 10 years ago. It was horribly out of tune - it looks lovely, but sounded awful, The Arolla rep took a loving two hours to go over it completely. Now it looks lovely and sounds lovely, too. Trevin was on time, clearly knew what he was doing, was very clear in explaining the pros and cons of my piano overall, and was a total professional throughout. I definitely recommend Arolla - and Trevin - in the future. read more

This is the third time someone from Arolla has tuned my piano, and they are fantastic. Very professional, very clear communicators, and very attentive to quality and precision. read more

Way TL:DR Arolla is excellent and professional. Be SURE to request JULIE KUCKS the Glenn Gould of piano tuners (except also incredibly friendly and no operatic singing while she does it). My old, free, piano sounds brand new. Warm as a Russian Spa and crisp as iceberg lettuce. I recently got a free piano from Facebook marketplace. Although the internet warned me against it, I wasnt in a place to pay the thousands of dollars for a new one. The piano has a great sounds but some of the lower and higher notes were horribly out of tune to the point I feared I should have headed the advice of the nay sayers and just learned to play the flute. I booked a tuning with arolla on their website and got a call from Julie Kucks the next day. I wanted my piano tuned right there and then but Julie warned me to wait at least two weeks after a move. When she did arrive two weeks later, she was right on time and extremely friendly. She got right to work. And she worked and worked. Two hours later Julie asked me to test it out. WHAT A RELIEF. IT SOUNDS AMAZING. Theres a depth and warmth that certainly wasnt there before and even the LOW LOW A is in tune. She also only charted me for a partial pitch raise, although for all that I know about Pianos she could have told me the whole thing had to torn down and rebuilt from scratch. I look forward to acquiring Arolla services is 8 months or so, and then 8 months from there ad infinitum. And definitely making sure its Julie I call everytime! read more

I have an old Sterling spinet (an upright of sorts) which hadn't been played in a long time. When I contacted Arollo, they were quick to respond. Their services are very affordable too. While tuning the piano, the tuner offered a very thorough explanation of a few other problems which he was able to fix. He was also a wonderful pianist so that was an added bonus! Honest & professional business. Would definitely use again! read more

Fantastic super fast service. No "piano shaming" even though we hadn't had it tuned in forever. Very polite technician arrived on time and took his time with the tuning without upselling additional fixes but explained little things we could do of we wanted. Very highly recommend. **UPDATE** I am happy to report that upon seeing this review Isaac called and wrote an apology and issued a full refund for all services rendered. The experience was unfortunate, but miscommunications certainly happen, and he's made right by addressing and compensating me accordingly. This past August I had Isaac evaluate a free baby grand piano and advise me on whether to take it. I told him that I did *not* want a "piano shaped object," which in tuner speak is a piano that looks nice but that can't really be played or hold tuning. I would never hire a tuner to evaluate if that's what I was looking for, so I have no idea how that could have been misunderstood. I paid $130 with tax to have him look at this piano and Isaac called and told me that although it was an old piano, he thought I should take it. I paid $500+ to move it into my home based on this advice. I never received an official document/summary of the evaluation (which I was promised) and when I called Orpheus to come tune the instrument a couple months later, he sent a technician that had zero knowledge of the instrument before coming. He said it had been a while... and he didn't remember. I would expect a professional to make some sort of written record for $130. This past week, two notes slipped out of tune, I wrote to Isaac about the issue and expressed some concern about the piano's integrity. He recommended a pin tightening and then made a comment about how he thought I was looking for a "decorative furniture piece" which absolutely shocked me. Based on this, I decided to call another tuner. Mike from Little Ear Piano Repair came and informed me that the piano was not in good condition and that the pin block is cracked, the sound board is cracked, the bridges have many hairline fractures and the strings are rusty. He fixed the out of tune notes and recommended muting strings that slipped out of tune in future, as it will continue to happen. (Have to make the best of it now!) I'm sure Isaac and his team can tune pianos that are newer, but if you are looking for an honest assessment of an instrument or for someone to identify repairs needed, look elsewhere. I had two technicians from this company come, and neither mentioned ANY of the issues listed above. Very disappointing. read more
