I never knew Arny Dading's until I passed by at this shop to buy something for a weekday gathering of family. No, it's not the typical celebration party most Filipinos would do. Its just that time of the week or month that someone misses everyone and calls for a dinner. So, from work, I had no time to prepare one of my famous desserts and I tried this "peachy-peachy" because the name actually is funny and I got curious.
When I came into this shop, I had the idea that it was cassava cake sliced already. It was not baked like the cassava cakes I have already had, its the pichi-pichi of younger years. The only thing I knew back then was that I didn't like the taste because it tasted a bit bitter for me. Getting the bad experience with pichi-pichi, I did buy for the entire family. And when I opened the box at home, I was surprised that it had cheese on it, not the grated niyog. So, I had a slice, and man, it was amazing! It is sobrang sarap!!! From then on, I'd buy peachy-peachy any time of the day, for no apparent reason. And now, I'm craving for one. read more
