If not, oh man, I guess you've just been missing out on half of your life until this moment. I'm an absolute sweet tooth... I could be throwing up because I overate but leave room for dessert anyway. Having said that, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to good cakes because I've tried so many of them. Camille Ocampo's The Pastry Cart is a business that is pure genius. More than being a business, it's all about good dessert. The San Marcos is also known as the creme brûlée cake. Text Camille for an order and for the complete list of her offerings. Sugar-free San Marcos is also available.

Numerous posts of their Crème Brulee cake has scattered online especially in foodie social media accounts. Ms. Camille Ocampo is the brainchild of this heavenly invention and you can place your order anytime and pick it up in their Valle Verde branch. Originally called the San Marcos cake that has evolved to Crème Brulee cake, it is just how you imagine a Crème Brulee getting an oversized treatment. Soft and moist chiffon cake topped with caramelized sugar is just perfect. It comes in a big box similar to Tiffany and Co's color scheme called Tiffany Blue so it's definitely a stand out. For the price of 900 pesos, this cake is worth every calorie.

Every time I have a meal at Bonifacio Stopover, I MUST have dessert here. From the moment I tried…read moretheir Bingsu, I knew I was hooked! It's definitely the place for me to go to for my Bingsu Fix. The place is quite spacious and I love staying by the window side of the cafe. It overlooks BGC; nice and bright in the afternoon. If it's your first time to try Bingsu, go for the fruity options: Strawberry or Mango Cheese. For me, I always get a regular size of the Injeolmi Bingsu and Mango. For the Injeolmi, you'll be surprised with the amount of rice cake cubes in it! Each spoonful you'll scoop up a good portion of finely shaved milk ice + rice cake + soy bean powder. I always love the bite and the chewiness. On my last visit, they now have a new flavor: Match Bingsu! Definitely a must try! If you want something different, try the sweet potato bread with injeolmi. It's not too sweet but quite filling. Very tasty and worth a try. Right now, you can get condensed milk for free at the side! Don't put too much though. The Bingsus are sweet enough! :P

Must be the record-breaking heat we've been having. Or maybe they're just really good. Located at the 3rd floor of Bonifacio Stopover, Hobing is a little hidden - the establishments beside it are salons, nail spas, a gym. It's a great location though for a dessert place to move to after having lunch - considering the 1st and 2nd floors of Bonifacio Stopover are full of places to eat! The shaved ice itself is really smooth and soft, and comes with its own flavor to match whatever toppings are on the shaved ice. And what makes it even better - they don't skimp on the toppings. If you order the strawberry bingsu, you'll find a lot of strawberries on top and inside the ice as well. They also offer toast and other snacks, but people come mostly for the shaved ice. I'm not surprised but when there are a lot of people, it could take some time for your order to come. And this place also gets full during weekends. I also wish they had wifi. Or maybe it's better that they didn't so people would leave quicker and give others a chance at shaved ice goodness. I love this place and will come back! With this heat, I hope they make a serving that I can dip my whole body into so I can roll around in snowy soft shaved ice.

Ambience is A+ because their interior and outdoor seating areas complement the comfort food & drink they offer. They have comfy seats, background music, free wifi and restroom so it's easy to stay long in their place to do work. Plus, they have plugs for those who have laptops. The staff is friendly and first-time customers get cool recommendations on snacks, meals and desserts. I highly suggest their Xocolat chicken pasta, Xoco latte, and double choco chip cheesecake. For something different, salads and panini are also at the top of my list. I surely will come back to Café Xocolat to satisfy my sweet tooth! ;)

I think there is something very romantic with a slice of really dark and moist chocolate cake,…read moredowned with coffee and or a glass of fresh fruit juice, especially when it is shared with a special someone. A lot of couples seem to agree to this sentiment, because one would usually find a lot of them hanging out Xocolat in Katipunan, which is also one of my hangout spots in this area of Quezon City. The dishes here are very intriguing, as most of the items in the menu have a surprising kick of chocolate. For instance, the Chocolate Chicken Pasta may sound a bit weird, but I would not miss it for the world. The creamy pasta is counterbalanced by the tart bite of bitter chocolate, and the chicken, which is apparently marinated in cacao nibs, has that peppery flavor. For dessert, nothing beats the house special which is pompously named "That Chocolate Cake" , which is a rich and dense chocolate cake base frosted with a generous layer of silky and shiny ganache. There is a cute X whipped on top of the cake, as if to mark the spot where your chocolate dreams come true to the fullest extent. I think That Chocolate Cake comes close second to my mom's very own recipe, and I would crave this when I'm feeling homesick. The prices are quite friendly to a student's budget, and the place, with its indie and hip vibe, is also a very welcoming oasis amid commercialized and crowded establishments that have sprouted in the surrounding area.

Hidden from street view in a narrow alley beside National Bookstore, it's one of those blink-and-you-won't-even-see-it spots - a (literally) cool one at that. With light blue walls, white table sets, and glass fixtures hanging from the ceiling, it felt like we stepped right into an icy wonderland (it even rained while we were chilling inside). Since I love coffee and she loves chocolate, we ordered single scoops of their Sunrise Surprise and Nociolla ice cream respectively. It's prepared from scratch (you'll see a mass of cloud-like vapor coming from the mixers) and the servers even make a show of pouring extra liquid nitrogen into your cup as they serve it (more clouds!). There are also party trays full of popcorn, marshmallows, and chocolate wafers that you can freeze-dip yourself (remember when we all "smoked" Stick-O's as kids?).
