This place was excellent. Best food ever! The whole place was cool. You're first greeted by a complementary valet parking. The whole place has an old school, Spanish hacienda vibe. Definitely make reservations. It was busy when we got there. They first sat us inside, but the acoustics are terrible; it was so loud and echoey in there we could barely have a conversation, luckily the host was able to sit us on the back patio. It was beautiful there and they had a lively guitar soloist who was very versatile in all genres of music. Our waiter could've been a little more attentive. We got waters and drinks, but I thought he'd ask if we wanted any appetizers, but he ran off as soon as we got the drinks and we probably sat for 20 minutes. I had an Arnold Palmer to drink maybe to be cliche but it really hit and paired well with my meal. I thought they might have some complementary bread or something, but no. Our server finally came back to take our order. I thought they might have some specials, but he didn't mention any and I was impatient at that point. I don't always leave 5 stars, but the food made up for what the service lacked. It was really worth the wait once we got our food. We started with the potstickers. They were prepared excellently. They weren't soggy at all as they can sometimes be and the dipping sauce was simple yet phenomenal. The calamari was great. It was crispy and had crunchy breading. The best thing were the onion rings. They were THE best I've ever had. They were just the right amount of crispy, they weren't greasy and their flavor was amazing with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning. We even tried the BBQ shrimp. That was just ok, I don't know about the sauce or the piece of bread it comes with. Our entrees were excellent too. I had the halibut with pepper jack risotto. That was amazing. You don't find halibut at a lot of places and it was so flakey and not dry whatsoever. The risotto was excellent too. You hardly ever see pepper jack flavor either; It did not disappoint! The spaghetti was amazing too. My partner ordered that. Their homemade noodles and sausage are next level. A couple other entrees at our table included the filet mignon and the New York steak. They were both excellent. I'd say the New York steak was the better of those two options. It was cooked to perfection. Our server didn't bring our food out, but the guy who brought our food knew which person ordered which entree without asking which was cool. We didn't stop there. They we had dessert. I tried the peanut butter gelato. It was rich and decadent. My partner had their house butter cake a la mode, which was so tasty. It was moist and not overly sweet. The banana split was huge too! The valet gives you tickets to pick up your car. We were one of the last patrons of the night and Seth from the valet recognized us and already had my car ready before I had my ticket out. He saw me in the lobby area about to exit. I highly recommend going here. Make a reservation for outdoors (when the weather permits) and you'll probably get a great server. Dined there several days ago in a party of 5 seated outside, Service and ambiance were exceptional. The server was pleasant, considerate and personable. It was a cool evening and he worked to create a comfortable environment. The music provided a nice touch and the musician played pieces on request. The food was good. I had the Shrimp Ravioli which was tasty. Ample shrimp, in fact I would have traded one of the shrimp for another ravioli portion. My wife had the short ribs which were ,okay. the apple crumble was disappointing. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening. SHORT ANSWER: Yes, a great option no matter where your are in the desert. Make reservations, but the bar area is also very nice. This is just an updated review for Q4 2025. LOCATION: Amazing corner location, parking is a bit weird. You can valet park at the door or self park but it can be a hike so drop off those who don't want to walk. FACILITY: First Class, professional in layout and set up. MENU: Everything you could want and if you don't see it, ask for it. This is a professional level kitchen so getting things the way you want it, and your happiness is key. FOOD PREP: Always great, you can tell the chef takes great care in serving perfect. FOOD QUALITY: Has been pretty good. Nothing incredible but the level of incredible in the desert has a very high bar. Everything we've ordered in our 20 or so visits has been veery good. LIBATIONS: Fun, and reasonable considering where you are at. Sitting outside enjoying a beverage listening to live music as the sun dips down below the Santa Rose mountains is pretty special. WAITSTAFF: Most have been here for years or decades, so if you arrive early maybe you can find some entertaining stories from your waitperson. OVERALL VALUE: Expensive but worth every dollar. It is all an experience and it has been one of our favorite spots. No matter if you golf or even know who Arnold is or his legacy, this is a must try. TIP: Bring a sweater or something to keep warm if you're sitting outside in November to March, it can get a bit cool. Choose outside, it just seems special. read more

I love this place... try to go once a week or at least twice a month... usually to the bar with our 4 favorite bartenders... that's once I get past the wonderful hostesses... and of course Dustin the long time manager and long time acquaintance... he knows the valley way better than most. The service by Valerie and the bus boys along with the the atmosphere was outstanding. Overall I would rate it 3.8 all things considered. The food is another story especially for the price . 4 drinks was about $100 with tax and tip included. Complimentary bread and butter was nice since some places are charging but the Thai calamari's apprizer was not good at all. It arrived at our table about 2 minutes after we ordered just barely warm like it was sitting around. It also was all crust and not much calamari. My husband loved his fish with corn risotto . My chicken parm with house made marinara needed seasoning and mom's ravioli and shrimp diner was just ok . The portions were large and the quality seemed nice but overall the taste needs improving. We enjoyed the banana split for $18 ,but I think 31 flavors is a tad better. Overall it was a nice experience but for $300 for three people I don't think the value is there. read more

We shared the larger prime rib, at first I was disappointed that they wouldn't sub the mashed potatoes but they were excellent. We ordered a side of Brussel sprouts as well which were perfectly seasoned and grilled. Cocktails wise we had a Paloma and an Old Fashioned. They were beautifully garnished and ample liquor. Prime Rib - 10/10. This was SO delish. Cooked perfect. Horseradish cream was perfect for me (cleared up my nose lol) while the hubs liked the au jus more. Mashed potatoes were poor quality in my opinion (they either use russet or it's powdered which I find hard to believe they use powdered potato). Tip: yellow or gold potato would be so much better for a sweeter and more flavorful mashed potato. Short Rib Gnocchi - 4/10. The short ribs was good, the gnocchi was cooked perfectly. It was the sauce that did me in. I'm pregnant and can't stand the smell or flavor of tomato sauce right now and made the mistake of forgetting my temporary aversion... but even my husband said it was just too heavy of a sauce. I wish I had ordered anything else. Cesar salad - 10/10. Great dressing, fresh romaine. No complaints. Mocktail - perfect. Not too sweet. Tasted so refreshing. Affogato - 9/10. Would have been a 10/10 but we didn't get the experience of pouring over the espresso ourselves lol. I know, that sounds picky... but it is what it is. Oh and the onion rings... if I could give 11/10 I would. These were by far my favorite onion rings ever. Perfectly breaded and fried. Not greasy, not too much breading. Just delish. This is always a top-tier experience when in La Quinta. We planned to grab a drink and light food before a concert at Acrisure Arena and didn't have reservations. We hoped to sit at the bar, but it was full. Lucky for us, they had a dining room table available and gladly accommodated us. We ordered cocktails, a mixed salad and shared a filet for dinner with bread service. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive, food was served swiftly and the atmosphere was great. This is on the pricey side because our bill was $130 for one filet, shared salad and two drinks, so be aware, but it was worth it for the service, ambiance and quality of food. I'm something of a golf dork so I am the type of sucker to get pulled in by all the paraphernalia and nostalgic Arnold Palmer memorabilia that is on the website. First, the good stuff.. the complimentary valet was fantastic. The guys were really jumping just like pulling up to your favorite course. Several hostess were at the front and they were easy on the eyes, one even showed me to the trophy room to snap a couple photos. I even walked in and sat at the bar with no wait on a Friday night! Ok now the bad. Service was s l o w to say the least while one bartender kept talking to the loud drunk lady next to me another guy wandered around behind the bar and finally the female bartender asked what my drink order would be. When I ordered the 'Arnold Palmer' I feel like the immediate reaction was 'this guy isn't gonna order a bunch of alcohol' which, granted I was sitting at the bar, was only because I was flying solo dolo waiting on a friend. For dinner I ordered the NY strip medium rare. It was not medium rare, and for some reason smothered with some kind of A1 like sauce? For desert I had the flourless chocolate cake which is probably made somewhere else and not fresh in the kitchen but it was also no good. In my opinion they should just take it off the menu. The service never improved and I had to ask for water refills a couple times. It was cool to see all the Arnold Palmer pieces of art but without that this review would have to be one star. With all the valet, hostesses and bartenders.. maybe they should hire more kitchen staff? read more

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Arnold Palmer's and it was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend. If you're considering this spot for a special event, we can't recommend it enough. We had 22 guests and started the evening with a 45-minute cocktail reception on the patio. There were high-top tables set up for mingling, a beautifully styled appetizer table, and a separate drink station. It gave our guests time to connect and ease into the evening before dinner. Dinner was served at one long table, timed perfectly with sunset. The setting felt warm, relaxed, and celebratory. Live music plays on the patio in the evenings, and it added such a great atmosphere without ever feeling too loud or distracting. The patio itself is gorgeous. It's surrounded by lush desert landscaping, which creates a private and peaceful feel. What really stood out to me was the lighting. Between the uplighting on the plants, the natural light from sunset, and the soft candle glow on the tables, everything looked magical. I'm pretty picky about lighting and ambiance, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Amanda, who oversees events at Arnold Palmer's, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was organized, thoughtful, responsive, and just a genuinely kind and fun person. It felt like she truly cared about our event, and everything came together so smoothly thanks to her. Rebecca was our server that night and she was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed with every course and drink refill. Several guests commented on how great she was. The food was excellent, just as it always is here. Everything came out perfectly prepared and paced, and the service from the whole team was top-notch. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-run, and inviting space to host a dinner or celebration, Arnold Palmer's is a fantastic choice. We're so glad we chose it for our rehearsal dinner. Living in the east bay of Northern California, we are very spoiled with exquisite food -- but if you're going to hike prices up, the food has to be on par. Our food all came out cold and we ordered many dishes. The green bean tempura, the batter was soggy and falling off the green beans, the cilantro has a garnish was wilted -- very weird. Even down to the kids menu where the chicken is clearly frozen chicken, not hand breaded -- the menu itself is not well thought out and overall just lacks the delightfulness. Asked twice for lemon slices before getting them. Asked her if Cesar salad was big enough to split, she said yes, we serve large portions here. Salad was quite small. We would have each ordered one. We decided to split the pork chop as she said it is juicy and tender. Was dry and overcooked. When we got our check, it was someone else's check for nearly twice our bill. Glad I checked!!! Celebrating our 1st year anniversary in La Quinta this weekend and knew we had to make a stop here. It didn't disappoint! The outdoor patio atmosphere is lively and very pretty, with live entertainment (he takes requests too). We enjoyed dinner over a nice bottle of Pinot Noir, and our waiter was attentive, offering suggestions as we went. We had the Hamachi Sashimi and Brussels Sprouts for appetizers, and my husband had the surf and turf special while I opted for a caesar salad. All of the food was well flavored and we both enjoyed our meal. We ended the evening sharing a banana split. We recently had dinner at Arnold Palmer's. We secured the last reservation for the evening and were seated next to a very loud group. It was obviously a three generation family, and the young boys could not sit still. We asked to be moved and after 15 minutes, Amanda was able to reshuffle a few tables and put us in a separate dining room. Arnold Palmer is an old school fine dining establishment. It was welcome to see their clientele still taking Time to present themselves wearing cocktail attire and sports coats. The food was very well prepared. We split a salad and they were very gracious in the presentation of these splits. Ordering a New Your, it was One of the best steaks I've had at a restaurant. I have found it's very difficult to get a better piece of meat outside of our home. But This kitchen sent out a perfectly prepared New York Grass fed prime steak that I will look forward to ordering again. Amanda was very excited to meet us and truly impressed us by listening to our suggestions of adding additional wines from the old county. They presented a very comprehensive Wine list if you feel California is the best wine region. We were truly looking for a Bordeaux or Italian Tuscans. Amanda acknowledge that they do not carry those and they have been asked by other clients as well. She was happy when I suggested that possibly we could bring a bottle and that she does have clients that feel comfortable doing the same. The manager changed the lakers game that has been on for 2 hours to a golf channel. I understand this is a hold owned restaurant but feel it could have been handled much better. Should have had our on the golf channel already and lakers game in side monitors. The manager Dustin should have thought about this and it beforehand and would not have bee an issue at all . Seems like Dustin has been a little too comfortable in his position too long and has lost sight of view to completely operate a restaurant. Great service from Efren. read more
