Went car finding with a friend, and we were led here by our trusty sat nav, and lo' - we were greeted by an ethusiastic sales assistant, who didn't try and push us towards buying the 'new top of the range/will clean itself/will make you tea and coffee' bus of a car. In fact, he was mega helpful. He even made me a nice wee cup of tea whilst I sat and read magazines (of the variety that are slightly more up-to-date than those in your local doctor's surgery...), and my mate talked shop. Or car, really. Ended up, they didn't have the model he was looking for, but the guy was really helpful and sent us on our way to the next garage which did have the car in stock (he even phoned ahead to check!).
I'm just glad there was tv, coffee and magazines to entertain me as car shopping can be a tad on the boring side - apparently there's more to them than the four wheels, and the 'it-gets-me-from-a-to-b' factor... who knew!? read more
