I was planning to purchase a new A1 from this dealership, until, on the day I was due to pick it up, I rang 5 times to ask what time I could collect my new car. The sales person never once returned any of my calls (Kieran) and at around 4 o'clock that day (I started calling at 9am) he told me the car had been sold to someonme else! even though I had paid a deposit to secure it!
I suspect he would never have called me back if I hadn't kept ringing up.
To say I was disappointed was an understatement, I was 5 months pregnant at the time. The sales person showed little sympathy, offered no alternative except to order me another car which would take ages to arrive.
I did complain to the sales manager (Stuart Alexander) and he did phone me to find out what had happened. He even appologised about the mix-up but what good does that do when your left without a car and 5 months pregnant.
When he fould out i wanted my deposit back and was going to BMW to purchase a car he couldn't get off the phone quick enough.
Just goes to show if they aren't getting a sale out of you they don't even care!
This must be the worst customer service I have ever had.
I've worked in the motor (Mercedes) and have never witnessed anyone being so poorly treated.
After that saga I went back to Douglas Park BMW where i got my last car, their service was impecable, don't know why I didn't just to there in the 1st place! read more
