You sign a HP agreement but with a twist. they never post the actual price of the car on the website, just the deposit and weekly/monthly terms . The actual value you will never see, just the amount loaned and interest. ( which is massive!! by normal standards ) Now it gets interesting.... they keep the V5 and a spare key, so you are NOT the registered keeper as in a normal Hp agreement reason is they keep the car registered to them and a spare key to take it away if you dont keep up with payments. As its not registered with you , if you get a parking ticket or speeding fine it goes to them and lease2buy charge you £25 admin fee on top. Also you pay road tax to them as you cant do it yourself so no monthly payment option for you! ( as yet i dont know if a £25 admin charge is applied) AND god forbid your late or miss a payment!! I was 1 week late and was threatened with a man coming over with the spare key to take it away..... I have had enough with this company and asked for Voluntary termination....first thing was to threaten court and repossession then they asked me to return the car immediately! ( consumer credit act states they have to come and pick it up) will keep you informed. keep well away from these people! i have bad credit but there are other companies out there that will take you! just shop around and avoid lease2buy
