I found these guys on yelp after sticker shock and high pressure sales from the most advertised…read morebusiness in the area. First, they didn't charge for an estimate (shocking). The overall cost was close to but less than the other guys, but Perdue was no pressure, they offered a better warranty on parts and labor and options for payment. Lastly we support businesses that are local, family owned, and/or veteran owned. It really helps when they don't charge you as if you are bezoar or musk. I scheduled a service appointment because my heat wasn't working. When Tony arrived, I asked if the issue could be related to work done on my system in August. I went upstairs to turn on the heat for troubleshooting, and before I even made it back downstairs, the heat came back on. When I told Tony I could hear it running, I asked if he had done anything to the system he said "no". I asked more than once, and instead of explaining what might have happened, he tried to sell me a routine maintenance plan, which I declined. I was still charged an $85 service fee. The next morning, I read the service report and saw that Tony had written he "I found that the gas valve was in the off position after place gas valve in the on position system engaged properly and began heating home." He never mentioned the gas valve being off or that he turned it on during the visit. I'm confident the valve was turned off during Logan's previous visit in August when a coil was replaced and welding was done in the HVAC closet. I reached out to Tristan to discuss the report and request a refund. I haven't received a call back from him or anyone else at Logan. Instead, Tony called me. After this experience, I feel less confident in Logan Mechanical's transparency and customer service. I appreciated my first experience, but this recent interaction left me questioning their communication and integrity.
