He had a heavy smell of alcohol but I trusted he could do the job. When I went to see what was going on after few minutes, he had cut it short and on an angle. I complained, he said he has another door at home he could bring in in 20 min and replace that one. Well, he didn't come back, didn't answer the phone nor my text messages. He then recorded a message that his phone was lost. B.S., I called minutes lather, his girlfriend answered, said he left the phone in the car and went ride his motorcycle, she was driving the car back when the phone rang. My ancient AC unit needed full replacement, so I did my due diligence and started calling around to get bids from different companies (while sweating profusely). Right out the gate, Julio was absolutely awesome. He not only answered after hours, but he took the time to explain different questions I should be asking all of the contractors to make sure I'm getting the best warranty possible and the most complete service. That alone was above and beyond-- he didn't have to do that, but it goes to show that not only is he about educating and empowering consumers. . . but that he also knows his product and service is incredible enough to stand up to that level of scrutiny. After getting multiple bids from different highly ranked companies around the town, Great Dane HVAC provided the best warranty by a mile (literally about double the length of what many others were offering across multiple categories), but his quote was also very reasonable (and beat many of the competitors who were offering smaller units with less warranty for $2000+ more). All along the way, communication with Julio was awesome-- whether via calls, texts, or in person, Julio communicated everything promptly and was just generally awesome. Julio is awesome and I can't recommend Great Dane HVAC enough. They just left a little bit ago and my house is already back to a normal, refreshing temp. They've got lifetime customers now!

The structure is extremely strong, it flows with the rest of the house, and best of all, it really feels like I just got an additional 480 square feet of living space. I was very particular to get good workmanship, so I interviewed three good, local builders. I recognized Pete Tovar's deep knowledge of the trade, but what I really like was that he dealt with me like I would deal with somebody - Yes, he brought the expertise but also a lot of respect and a commitment to do the job like his name was on it. And he offered the best price as well. When construction time came, he was right there going over the materials and supervising his workers closely. I took care of the design and the permit, so we had to work together on that and he had to deal with my little quirks and looking over his shoulder, and I have to say, he saved my bacon by correcting a couple of things that were wrong with the plans. I would definitely recommend.
