I am very disappointed and disgusted with the service and treatment we received on the night of January 11. It was so ridiculously bad that our insurance company has severed ties with Armory Shell, and well they should. Instead of bringing the vehicle where the insurance company instructed, it was towed to the Armory Shell "storage lot." We and the insurance company were told different (lies) stories about why this was being insisted on, and after a last-ditch effort by the insurance company to get the vehicle brought to the original destination, the agent was informed by the owner that he didn't care about the contract with them and he was refusing payment from them. He was nasty, profane, rude, and unprofessional, and because of it, a major insurance carrier dropped service with this company. We are never, ever doing business with Armory Shell again, and I assure you, neither are many others who are involved in this incident. I am sorry to even have to write this -- I would rather have not had this experience at all. If your company had simply brought the vehicle to the address requested (within the mileage limit and yes, covered by our insurance, as you were told multiple times, despite denying you were told where to go, telling me the insurance told you we *weren't* covered -- lie -- and telling yet another person you were going to "make sure you were paid by insurance, so forget bringing it out 'there,' bring it to the storage lot"), this would've been a straightforward towing job with no problems. Nothing odd, nothing untoward. Tow a vehicle out of the ditch, drive it to the address you were given, get a check from the insurance company. Done. Instead, you escalated this completely unnecessarily and inexplicably, and managed to get a huge storage fee paid to you (for the moment) to release the vehicle. I repeat the word DESPICABLE. read more
