The movers didn't arrive until 5:30 PM, with little to no communication throughout the day. We were left waiting and constantly had to call them ourselves just to get updates. The person answering the phone was minimally helpful and couldn't provide any clear information. Our move was only from a one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment just 8 miles up the road. It should not have taken as long as it did, and it certainly shouldn't have cost as much as it did. Overall, the lack of communication, extreme delay, and high cost made this a very frustrating experience. I expected much better service. I hate that we had to leave a 1-Star to post this.

They broke my 65 inch tv. it looked like they stepped on it. when plugged in, you could clearing see the heel imprint. They stripped the screws on my bed. So bad that they messed up their own bits from the tool box. They left my new apartment with my mattress on the door, frame leaned against my closet. One of the movers, explained to me that the OTHER worker used the wrong head (bit) to unscrew and then screw back in! Had to call my son in law to help. he had to buy all new screws to fix their error. i did a claim (just one) but only the one, because the company ONLY allows you to file one claim. My offer for a $700 TV, is a payment if $150. I moved 7 miles down the road...my cost was $1256. DO NOT USE THEM! I was screwed over and this move cost me so much more than it should have. I have asked to speak with an owner, VP or someone else....and Ace keeps giving me the run around. Reviews are the most important thing I will do on all things that I do moving forward.

There were roof problems in some units, mine included, and the staff, particularly Mikeulyn, has been enormously helpful. It is difficult for me to visit the site and she has helped arrange movement of our 3 units contents to new units that were not damaged in the storm. A big hats off for Mikeulyn and also for Vanessa, in their corporate offices, with helping lock on the new units too. I will continue to keep my things stored there for a long time. If you are on the edge about where to store YOUR stuff, this is a great place!

I moved out and cancelled my lease because I was already being severely overcharged by your company. For a long time I was being charged $209+tax. When I called your office to point out to you that I was being overcharged based on the pricing listed on your website, I was told that my pricing would not be lowered to your advertised price, and only reduced to $190. The current advertised price for the same exact enclosed space that I had, is for $153 per month, and it very clearly states NO OBLIGATION. It does not say that it is a move in special, or limited time offer, or only applying to new move-ins. Still a full $37 per month over your current pricing. I have been charged substantially more than your current pricing. It also appears I have been being charged a $12 per month "protection fee" which I only realized recently. Apparently your website does not show itemized billing on demand, and it is also not allowing me to go back and look at previous statements for itemization. I finally found some previous invoices in my email. When I noticed that, I initially thought it was for the physical security on premise, which was apparently installed and being monitored by an unlicensed security company. After some digging, I found out I'm being charged for some sort of a protection plan because you did not have a copy of my trailers insurance on file. I have had insurance since I bought the trailer in 2019. So in addition to being overcharged on the monthly space, I've also been overcharged by that $12 per month. That "protection fee" did not appear until AFTER I called in to discuss being overcharged in the first place. I consider that being charged a retaliatory fee for raising the issue. And since the optimization is not available on your website, it appears that you were intentionally trying to hide that from me. I have never received a notice that that fee was going to be charged to me. I have also not been sent a physical invoice since these changes were made, which also tells me you were intentionally not wanting to show me that fee.
