This review is long overdue, I actually came here a few months ago to buy some riding gear, I got a great price for a AGV helmet. They also have a huge selection on riding gear and helmets and motorcycles . I picked up a paid of gloves and riding boots. The rep Jim has been super helpful with finding my size. Just wanted to say that he helped me out alot when I was there. A very straight forward guy that will give you his honest opinion and you can take it how you will. A very genuine person. Today I dropped off my bike for service and he was very informative, he did not try to upsell me with services I did not need. He's knowledgeable and will guide you through everything from start to finish. I will most definitely be back for either riding gear or service thanks to Jim. I wanted to mention that they have an upstairs showroom with a bunch of dope ass bikes so if you're ever in the area you should check em out!

Such a cool place to stop by and check out, Arlen Ness was known for his custom Harley Davidson's and parts. I did see bikes for sale "none of which were Harleys" but it is still a very neat place to stop by and pay a visit if you are in the. Dublin area.

These guys are awesome! Zach, Austin and Nik hooked me up on a hard to find size pair of rims for my 06 Street Glide. Coulda blew me off or fanged me, but instead dug in the back and found/gave me a sweet deal. Respect that, I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend seeing them first.

I think of Arlen Ness Motorcycles more of a museum than an actual dealership. They've got interesting looking bikes and doodads to purchase. Don't get me wrong, they're an Indian Dealership but heck they're probably more than that. Our visit was short yet exciting. There were so many bikes left, right, and up! Definitely a place to stop by if you're in the area.

To Kelly Quinn, I have received the part earlier than promised. Thank you very much. Excellent customer service, Excellent communication regarding delays and when item would be shipped. Especially during COVID times where parts and materials are delayed. Very happy, Thank you again!!!

I'm glad that Jer and I finally found time to visit Arlen Ness Motorcycles! This was an unexpected trip, but it was one of those "things to do when you're in the area". I first learned about Arlen Ness from the Discovery Channel's Biker Build Off (Father vs. Son episode) and I was excited when I learned that they were a Bay Area shop and local builders. As a kid, I always wanted to ride a motorcycle. So today's visit took me back and I was stoked to see Arlen's museum that was filled his personal collection of custom bikes, trophies, and accomplishments. Natural Height: I found my bike! Its called the Hammer! (see my photos). The price tag: $67,000. I guess my Mercedes can wait. I really love this bike! I took a seat and grabbed onto the handle bar. Nice! I swung the front tire and sat back for awhile to get into the zone. Sweet! I thought about my savings account and all the monthly payments ahead. Doable in time of course! I'll be returning to follow up on the bike. Its going to be a challenge, but I really want it - I gotta plan for it. This is perfect place to share with outside visitors that are riders and fans of the custom bike world. I know a few friends and relatives that will enjoy and appreciate this place. FYI - Arlen and Cory are normally at the shop Mon-Fri. We didn't get a chance to see them. Although, Jer and I met Arlen's granddaughter and she's going to be building her own bike soon! That's so cool!

============== RJR - ISSUE #12 ============== "WE HAVE SEEN IMITATORS...AND WE HAVE SEEN DUPLICATORS..." ARLEN NESS is without question...one of the true originators...being among the best-known legendary motorcycle customizers in world. Arlen and his family's motorcycle empire is proudly based right here in the backyard of the BAY AREA! The Arlen Ness Motorcycle Company deserves are respects and appreciation of true American Art born on two wheels...SET FREE... And today...My cousin Walt and I had the pleasure of visiting Arlen Ness's World Headquarters in Dublin, CA. to admire an American Icon and his custom creations. (Check out my photos on the company profile!) This location was established in March 2003 housing a 68,000 square foot facility that features - a Museum of Arlen's revered collection of masterpiece custom creations, a sales showroom, parts department, apparel store, and production area for current and future builds. Walking onto location unannounced...we found that the staff was very friendly and an invited us to feel free to walk around the showroom floors and to make sure we made are way upstairs to check out Arlen's personal collection and museum. They had no problems in allowing flash photography as we strolled around. And on the main showroom floor they encouraged us to go ahead and sit on any of bikes - and to try them on for size - choose the one for you! (But if it had a SOLD sign on it or was part of the museum collection - it was off limits, which is completely understandable) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Of course, like my cousin Walt...we find just the right bike...And as it turns out, mine was an American Iron Horse...2007 Slammer...(check out the photo in my profile)...this thing was ...absolutely gorgeous...a sleek sporty low-liner...with an aggressive stance...which is just my style...my style indeed...and I want it... It's got a 111 inch cubic inch engine with a powder-coated diamond cut finish, 6-speed transmission, adjustable air-ride suspension, and Lone Star III wheels. What also got me was the color combination of frame and graphics. It was black cherry candy with pearl white graphics, and silver skulls which were faded down to the color frame. Hmmm...new luxury SUV?...or a Low-Liner Bike? Such temptation...a choice must be made... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We did not get to meet the legendary Arlen Ness himself this past weekend, a missed opportunity...But we did have the pleasure of meet his grand daughter who made us feel welcome... "Chica you ROCK! By the way, thanks for the thought of helping us score free movie tickets - we did enjoy our movie that day...And we do look forward to you building your first bike soon!" Thank you for letting us feel at home Arlen Ness Motorcycles! Hope we'll see you again soon... (CHECK OUT MY UPLOADED PHOTOS) *SPECIAL BONUS FEATURE* - Feel free to ask any of the sales people if they can give you a tour of the facility. - Arlen Ness himself works five days a week...so like all of us...the man enjoys his weekends! *VIDEO FEATURE* - Arlen Ness Motorcycles http://www.youtube.com/v/UQzuCx_LRkU

Battery was on it's last legs. Bike didn't even start. Had to get it towed to Arlen Ness. I did not want to deal with Tracy Motorsports any longer. Thank God it was not anything more serious. This place gets busy during the riding season, so plan ahead if getting routine maintenance done. Despite the 4 week wait list, Susie and John squeezed me in between jobs for the battery change. Thank you so much! I will be bringing my bike back in the future!

Their inventory caters to discriminate buyers who are looking for a special motorcycle with a distinguished trait or characteristic. It is a shop for everyone. Service fees are reasonable and bikes range in price from $5,000 - $20,000. You will not need to take out a 2nd mortgage to become a customer of HK Cycles. HK Cycles is not a high-volume, transaction-focused shop. Jeff, the owner, has a 40+ year history riding, servicing, and customizing motorcycles. He has managed to take his passion for motorcycles and couple it with his entrepreneurial spirit. Although Motorcycle Dealers and Service Centers come and go, this small shop by the Livermore Airport has been in business for decades. Jeff has earned my respect for a number of reasons. His knowledge of motorcycles and parts appears limitless. Jeff truly enjoys engaging with his customers and exploring options to help people get what they want from riding a motorcycle. Jeff does not pressure or push. But perhaps his greatest strength is assembling a team of mechanics and tuners with diverse backgrounds and interests who all share his desire to make motorcycling a little better in the East Bay. Sam appears to me to be a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He understands that culture and those bikes. Yet each time I bring in my Honda CB1100 for service, he is polite, completely engaged, and celebrates the moment even though his time spent on metric bikes may be limited. Keegan is quiet and intense. He is a metric motorcyclist with a performance bent. However, he takes the same pride working on a 650 LB bagger that he does when he services a high performance motorcycle. I believe he enjoys test driving my CB1100. He has assured me that he is better behaved on my motorcycle than his own. Fredy is quiet and always working. Although my interaction with him has been limited, it is clear to everyone that he likes to get things done and move on to the next work order. I have done business with HK Cycles for 10 years. I encourage you to visit the shop and give them a chance. In 10 years, you too may be writing a glowing review of this great shop.
